Hello di! Sorry, I am late. Maaf kardo please! Anyways, main aa gayi, right? Now lets start:
What a beautiful story di! I have never read any Arshi stories with the background of art. It's so refreshing. I always love your ability to describe your characters and any kind of scene, as Saiyyu-ji mentions often.
I felt so bad for Arnav after reading about his family. How can a family make a child feel so lonely and left out?! I cannot ever digest that parents can differentiate between their children. And that too just because of the child's interests and choice of profession. It just goes on to prove that no matter how highly educated a person is, superstitions are a part of his own nature and is not related with educational qualifications. Otherwise, Arnav's family, all of them being doctors which is such a respectable profession, should never have done what they have. This is even worse than having no family. Arnav must have felt terrible watching his siblings get the love and affection that he could never receive. But I am also glad that he did not leave his dream just for the sake of his parents. He moved out of his house with pride and dignity to follow his passion. Also he did not become stone-hearted or depressed as many people would have in his place. When you said that Arnav loved to make others happy and smile, you reminded me of one of my wishes in life- to spend at least a day with kids in orphanage and trying my best to make them happy for that day, at least. So, Arnav has definitely won my respect.
I just loved the way you introduced Khushi. I could literally see Khushi dancing in front of me with immense grace and elegance. Similar to Arnav, she also won my heart by being the happy and cheerful person she is despite having struggled so much in life.
Both Arnav and Khushi have the similar kind of passion and attachment towards art. Arnav for painting and Khushi for dancing. I think this would help them a lot to relate to each other and their bond to get stronger.
I must appreciate Arnav's straightforwardness and honesty. He did not hide anything from Khushi and expressed his point of view clearly. Though I am not quite getting Arnav's reason of asking Khushi to come along with him. Is it because he thinks Khushi can help him to take a new perspective and see the world differently? Khushi is a brave and independent girl with a never-giving-up attitude and optimistic approach to life. Is Arnav inspired from that? Or is he relating to her based on their artistic connections? Whatever it is, I am really excited for the journey to begin!
Part 3:
I liked how Khushi is so positive minded and is never scared of dreaming. I am also glad that she did not misunderstand Arnav, which was highly probable. I feel that the bond between Arnav and Khushi is taking a beautiful form. Arnav considers Khushi as his muse and Khushi considers Arnav as her inspiration.
The school scene was so cute. The way you brought out the essence of the innocence of those children was simply awesome. Their cuteness, playfulness, curiosity, innocence, cheerfulness- it struck a chord in my heart. And Khushi's explanation was so thoughtful and deep. As if Arnav was not the artist, she was. After all, our Arshi are soulmates always and forever, right?
I am happy for Khushi as she has a father figure in her life in the form of Mr. Vyas. Everyone needs a guide in his/her life at some point or other. I was in awe of Mr. Vyas when he honestly confessed that he did a background check on Arnav. This just shows the extent of his protectiveness for Khushi and other kids in the orphanage. I wish every human were like him in this world.
The ending was brilliant. Loved the words of the song at the very end. So meaningful and beautiful.
Anyways, I should stop here. Or else you are going to flee away in my fear:P
Thanks for the update and also for the pms. Take care.
Sayari.
