I was watching a caterpillar slowly crawling it's way to a leaf over the weekend and this reminded me of Kushi in this story. She is making progress but she still has a long way to go before she realizes that she did not die along with NK but still lives, breathes and has feelings like most normal young woman. His patience is what will help her overcome this. His frustrations during their last phone call has taught him this lesson that he cannot rush her and the wait will definitely pay off. Absolutely love the scene when he first appears in this chapter and how she thought her thoughts about him has conjured him up as a ghost. Love his reaction by touching her hand and making sure she understands that he is there in person. There was magic in the whole update for me with the relaxed way their conversation went. 2 friends catching up on their lives since the first time they met. So much has happened in both lives that they simply cannot pick up and move on as if those events were irrelevant. the passion is still there but a relationship based on passion only, will result in fights and insecurities if they do not talk about their pasts, presents and their wants. they are definitely on the right track even though our Arnav needed some reassurance that she feels what he is feeling. This was very nicely done with the kiss and also with the discussion about why Kushi was fighting the feelings between them. I am glad she told him that not only there is no one else but it was not his fault. She is simply not there yet mentally. His open and untucked shirt are proofs of the fire that still exists between them. He will just have to continue chipping away at her fears and insecurities. He does not realize how many allies he already has in Manorama, Mira and Lavanya not to mention Maya. i am intrigued though about how the last time he had no time. Did he have to go back to his studies or something happened? It may seem like he has all the time but she will be going back to the U.S. At the end of the trip. What is he going to do then? I simply adore this Arnav you have created. He is a true gem and deserves some happiness and someone taking care of him finally instead of being the one who has to be strong for everyone.

It was nice to see two of them talking, catching up, their closeness was soothing. Now Arnav knows that she still has feelings for him and is ready to wait, to let her fears allayed, her grief and guilt be softened. Her support system of Lavanya and friends, Manorama may help him too. And then they have these two amazing kids.

Omg omg they kiss!!! I'm so excited and I want more...
