Yet again, as with every update your words captivate me to the world of Second Chances...

I felt I was sitting right amongst the two woman discussing their family, loved ones they have lost and hopes for the future of those who are with them today. Even though they don't know each other well, the connection was there that can create a special bond in the future.

What stole the update was Meera and Mohan... that brought tears to my eyes. I felt I was reliving a moment close to my heart. You have done full justice to showing how a child like Mohan needs someone to bond with to help him in life. And the more he is around her, these little miracles will continue to flourish. I will be partial here but my favorite character in SC is Mohan, and Meera is right there with him.

Ahhh such a special bond and what a way to showcase Autism... please take a bow and a virtual hug from me. You have done full justification on this topic, and I can't wait to see to more.

Another thing I would like to point out... Arnav as the single day and care provider for his child. I admire a man for taking up that responsibility. It's not easy. Why is it that just because a woman gives birth means only she can care of the child? Not true at all, I have seen many men that are better taking care of their children... and seeing Arnav's attachment with Mohan I can guarantee he cares for his son just a like his mother if not more.

Last but not least Arnav and Khushi... I am loving the pace this is going, it's just right for me... though I am very curious will he show up for the trip... Let's hope he does. Oh and are we getting a glimpse of the past... I am intrigued.

My dear M, thank you for such a wonderful journey that I am savoring every moment you put in front of us. Your writing continues to captivate me, where I am hooked and anxiously wait for the update. It's been a very long time that a story has done that. And my soul sister you are my inspiration and I admire you so much with what you have done with these difficult topics.

Love you!

"it's the womb that is on fire, mourning what it lost."

Such a movingly painful line. Sumitra and Manorama's conversation left me realising that. despite the empathy I think I can feel, I can't truly comprehend the depth of pain they have been ravaged by. Sometimes in life you meet people who you feel a strange affinity with. Treasure them always.

I really liked the way you showed Manorama looking beyond Arnav and Maya's divorce. She can't understand the equation they share, but she has the depth to want to.

Meera and Mohan, what can I say? You have written them so beautifully. I refuse to believe any of your readers didn't have tears rolling down their face at that conversation. And then didn't cry some more at what Maya and Arnav felt when they heard their son laugh. That what we take for granted as being an instinctive reaction, so precious for both of them.

Meera is such an affable child and sharp as a tack. Love how she caught Arnav's little slip over GD! The more I read about her, the more I fall in love with her. Her quietude, her natural empathy with people, her endearing inquisitiveness, all a joy to read.

I feel Arnav understands Mohan better than Maya does. That's not to say one loves their child more than the other. It's just that Arnav is more attuned to him.

As always, Arnav and Khushi's conversations, be they written or spoken, leave me hankering for more. I'm hoping it's Arnav who is accompanying Mohan to Keshavdev Mandir, where he who inspires divine love was born and the Taj Mahal, which itself is "a love poem in marble". Waiting to see how it touches them.

Heart warming update..I can feel how good Arnav Maya would have felt seeign their son laugh freely like a 7 year old should be..Meera is a wonderful child..I so much wish Arnav accompanies them to Mathura but somehow I feel it would be Maya who will take Mohan..Arnav is disappointed..
I hope Maya will put some sense into Kushi's head..

Loving this story so much Mira..thank you

What I absolutely love about this is that everyone matters. You're not just telling us a story of Arnav and Khushi. You're telling us about the everyday person who must make a choice every second of the day. Who must come to embrace the changes happening every moment. Who is learning to take chances, to find happiness, to grieve, to win, to lose, to laugh and laugh some more. To see the ridiculous in life.

Stars of the update, of course, the little kids.
Oh, by the way, "Meera-mama" gets to me, EVERYTIME.

I think we'll all learn a thing or two from Meera-Mohan over here. Beautiful lines you put in the story. That un-complicate things so much. Sometimes when you're sad, you're just sad. You're not jealous, not angry, not annoyed, not anything. Just sad. There are a millions reasons and then there are none. So when Mohan puts it out very clearly that 'tears mean sad', that's that. And then they go on and lessen that grief a little. And when they do, they let all of it go. At once. And they laugh and it's suddenly all about their happiness. Whatever may have happened prior to that, lay forgotten.

I will forever cherish this story Mirabell.
Hamesha.

So much pyaar for this and for you,
Isha

P.S. She drove him away. KYUN?

P.S.2 Okay maybe she had her reasons. But if she can question Maya's choice, I can question hers. Hehe.

MB, Thank you for another wonderful update.

The conversation between Manorama and Sumitra was so heart touching. It is so true, one never knows how and why we can bond with some people so easily and quickly. They talking about their losses and witnessing their own children dying in front of them and the subsequent never healing pain they felt as mothers touched my heart. But what I loved even more was Sumitra giving new hope to Manorama saying that her Meera will fill the gap Naren has left behind.

Looks like Meera and Mohan are indeed bonded to each other for life. I was so happy reading about their bonding and Mohan opening to Meera like never before. And how cute it was when he said that he will give half of his dad to her since she did not have a dad. Looks like destiny spoke through Mohan!!!! Is that not what all of us want too. 😉

Now even I am curious to know how Kailash looks reading about Khushi's monologue. 😲

What were Maya and Kailash trying to converse with each other?? Is Maya pregnant???
(Am I reading too much into everything??? )🤔

I love this road trip they have planned. I hope Arnav accompanies them to Mathura and Agra and hoping to read about some Rabba ve moments between Arshi.

Finallly a big hug to you for spreading awareness about Autism through your story. 🤗

A few old ladies, a couple of kids and a couple of pairs - It is amazing on how you build your characters and no matter who it is, each of them carry a sense of niceness and a sense of understanding. And for us, each chapter of yours, always leaves us with a sense of very contagious "feel goodness". I just love the way you prove that complicated relationships never come in the way of cordial relations.

The opening scene of the old ladies chatting goes to show that wisdom is all about questioning the facts, and acting on your thoughts but with a blanket of understanding wrapped around it.

Manorama's womb on fire, Arnav's last name, Anjali's intro, the missing frame - yes, arranging a few appropriate words is what makes a poem and yes, sprinkling a few relatable stories is what makes a bond. Your genius is in not only knowing the exact amount, and the exact flavor but also knowing it when to server it on a platter for us😊. What can I say other than you are never too old to build a new bond.

After the heart warming oldies conversation you walk us right into the heart touching kid's conversation. I am sure all your readers joined Arnav and Maya in holding their tears back with a big smile on their faces. Whoever said kids say the darnest things, forgot to add honest and innocent to it. I am glad that their bonding and the end result bought a million dollar smile to so many faces.

Looks like Kailash and Maya prove that destination of love can never be reached using a programmed GPS. Khushi's superficial thoughts and realization were just as apt as her confusion. I am waiting for the time when her talking out loud is loud enough for the other person to hear😉.

I am just realizing that I too just got unknowingly hooked to the late night texting. The texts seem to have not lost their sting and I like the new medium of communication even better😃.

Looking for the Mathura trip for the namesakes and I am glad for some, the journey has already started even before the trip.

This is a beautiful beautiful update.
I am in love with each and every character. Each one is just as important and without one the other will be incomplete.
The bonding between Meera and Mohan is so fabulously portrayed.
You can have half of my papa... is such a statement. it is almost like a prophecy for the unseen future or at least thats how it plays in my wishful mind.
Khushi's observation of Kailash and Maya is a peak into her personality coz lets face it being superficial at times is how we miss on the importance of what really matters.
I think this trait points towards something more important that we will find out later.
Her leaving ASR 10yrs ago also seems on a similar frivolous tangent to me. But maybe I am over thinking.
Love their msg tags and its now has been ungraded to late night calls. Things are moving and things are moving fast.

I love it every time NK is mentioned. He is still there.
Beautiful Chapter.

It was house full lighter update😆
Its long weekend so have to be in jolly good mood😃

Today's update was all about connecting with each other.

Oldies connected and Manorama finally found someone to whom she can open up and express her grief. I guess she was more like a pillar to the family till now and have no where to vent it out being the most older person in the household. You have shown this so nicely. Its so true that most of the time we open up with strangers as there is no fear of judging.

Manorama voiced out what most of the readers here are feeling about the divorce and the relation after😕 😕

Meera/Mohan connection: That was a surprise to see how fast Mohan opened up with her and finally laughed👏 I know a kid with ASD and its difficult to even talk to him forget making him
laugh and he is same age as Mohan and Slicing of Arnav made even us reader laugh😆. But kudos to Meera; she is such a strong girl. Khushi has done a great job raising her👏

ARSHI - So the sleep texting is now into sleep talking😃. Arnav is taking the step and his expectations from Khushi and when she does not respond getting upset I really am liking this Arnav of yours. He is a father, hubby, friend and now a lover. I am loving his effect on her although she is trying hard.

Khushi - Whats in her mind? Clearly she wants to remember everything and we want to know it all. BTW did you say that it was just a very short period that they knew each other in past?

Khushi's thought about Maya - Seriously she chose K guy over Arnav😲 did someone hit her head hard😆

Looks like Mathura/Agra will have more of ARSHI 😳 Although I don't miss Arshi in your updates its time you have them together not forgetting that this is primary ARHI story😛

Happy Long weekend to all who are celebrating.😃
