It is not the slowest story in this universe...it is perfectly paced for a story on second chances.

Here is a list of some of the things I loved in this update.

Arnav's thoughtful gesture in placing a stool for Mnorama to rest he foot on.

Mohan. Just simply Mohan. He is so adorable.

Meera and Mohan's meeting. Their contrasting personalities make for an interesting interaction.

Mohan's acceptance of Khushi. His comment - Meera Mama, was cute.

Arnav stating his intentions towards Khushi. Premature or not we shall soon discover.

Maya. She is a whirlwind and quite lovable.

The best thing about this story is the honesty that you bring to all the relationships there is no subterfuge or deception of any kind. It is refreshing.

Belle, (I have a friend Mirabel who we call Belle, so. :D)

I really enjoyed the story till the last update you posted.

Khushi's crushing loss, loneliness, the heartbreak bcoz of NK's broken promise of old age, inability to move on in her love life, the confusing feelings Arnav's presence generates in her, her doubts of whether she'll forget NK if she let go of the memories etc. were really well portrayed. So was the life of an Indian immigrant who came to US to study. I could relate to a lot of things in the story. The way Khushi goes through her mental diary relating to incidents which happened to her & NK when she sees others experiencing it, was both endearing and heartbreaking, I ended up with tears every single time by the end of it.

Loved Manorama's character and the way she loves Khushi as her own. It is very hard to live a life as a widow while bearing the loss of your child who went way before his or her time and being a strength to his or her spouse & grandchild whom you consider your own. She reminds me so much of my friend's MIL - she lost her husband when she was 26- such a strong woman, she brought up all 4 of her kids on her own and lost her 40 yr old son to cardiac arrest (not my friend's husband) recently. My heart aches for her every time I think about her.

Arnav is still a mystery waiting to be unraveled. I'll wait for you to do that. ;D

I really spent time... unhurried time... reading through this for the last three days. Even reread some of the chapters. Love the pace the story is moving along.

Finally, I want to say, I am so glad you decided to write. :)

ps: meera30 has made us crush on Aman and you are doing a good job of making us crush on NK... really hard :D

Yeah, you are right. The show's NK was so one dimensional - goofy. Your NK has so many layers, not just the chocolate look with dimples. I'm loving him so much.
