As they say - 'finalement' in French - Mohan's ASD out in the open, Arnav acknowledging and making khushi know about whatever is simmering between them, Maya coming into the picture. I really want to know what happenned to Arnav and Khushi in the past - al those unresolved issues ! Also want to see a lot more of Mohan, meera and Meera Mama interactions along with arshi of course

You say it's slow paced but there was quite a lot of information there

There is something to be said about that moment, the moment when the waiting ends and fruition is in hand's reach. There is also something to be said about our inability to hold that moment in our fists, frozen, to be savored at leisure. Caught, as we are in that voyage from moment to moment, seldom do we spend more time than what we allow ourselves to feel, and experience that fruition.

Know what, M? I'm going to look out for these wonderful lines and jot them down in my diary so that I can read them when I need them. 😆

Reading things like this gives you perspective. It helps you think, retrospect. It clears your head. And I think, everybody needs that every once in a while.

Especially Khushi.

We know she must move on, we know she isn't "cheating", we know she needs to acknowledge this second shot but when I place myself in Khushi's shoes, I don't know anymore.

And so I want to experience it, through your words. Experience the exact moment when she finally feels free. For that to happen, Arnav Singh Raizada needs to put his foot forward,which is what he did this time. I'm glad they had the talk. I'm glad it's finally out there in front of Khushi that Arnav is really into this.

And look, you brought out Maya from her hiding. 😆 That brings us to...ah, jealousy. That very entertaining, very satisfying emotion. (For us, not Khushi. Obviously.)

Can Arnav just wrap up Khushi in a tight hug and knock it into her pretty head that they're living their second chance? I can't wait. :D

P.S 1 How much I love the little flashbacks! They're like a dream. Like a vortex, and I'm sucked into it, into that time, ten years ago. The images are vivid despite not being detailed enough because you've given us the freedom to feel what Khushi must have felt. I love that. You choose the right words. And that makes a difference.

P.S 2 You outdo yourself every time you write about kids. About the little things they do. Whether it's an imperceptible nod, whether it's the gesture of their hands, and the way they speak! You just get it right. Every single time.

P.S 3 Now I know why people walk away from me. Because I channel my inner Maya at them the first thing. Boo hoo.

You've made me fall in lovewith the all the characters in this story,MB.

I specially love Maya.

What a wonderful sweet soul.

She is so friendly and affectionate.

I loved how she was the one to see the closeness between Khushi and Arnav.

I am sure she will play an important role in bringing them both together.

It seems as though the passage of time has had no effect on the chemistry between Khushi and Arnav.

The long supressed feelings have surfaced again.

I'm waiting to see how they deal with them.

Arnav finds it tough to deal with his child's Asperger's.

One can understand .

I loved it when Mohan called Khushi Meera Mama.

That was so cute!

very nicely done. the shyness, the reaching out, her instinctive understanding and th econtrast between the two parents of the same child.

The dynamic between the two kids and arnav adn khushi was wonderfully explored

I started frequenting IF again after a long while and yesterday, Lady Luck smiled and I stumbled upon this incredible story.

Your story and characters are so real Mirabel, that it almost scary. There were many moments when it ceased to be about fictional characters and khushi's pain seemed like that one made of real tears.

Each character has been very lovingly built and they add different layers to the story. I am looking forward to the layers being added and then revealed. I completely agree that often the journey becomes a part of the destination and I am looking forward to this journey.

If I remember correctly, I read that This is your 1st story. A story told so well... Come on admit it, you have been a closet author for long 😆. Glad you came out and shared this beautiful story with us.
