Aww - this story is so cute. Perfect fit for Valentine day contest. Did it win any prizes? Loved reading the story - Mahi and Adi were so cute and I loved the way you have penned down the difficulties that our Army face when they defend our country. Kargil war has personal resonance with me in the sense my best friend's husband was Lt. Col in Infantry division in Kargil war and those few months, I could see my friend go through hell and come back every time there was some news of death.
Every time there is a war, the families always have the fear as to what if their beloved cant make through it. Gosh can't imagine the torture the family would be going through and loved the way Adi tried to break the engagement but Mahi was adamant that she would be with him only. When I went to visit Delhi and went near Amar Jawan jyothi, I felt so small and so insignificant when compared to these brave heroes and their families. I felt so humbled standing at that place paying my respects to the dead warriors and the writing - We gave up our today so you can have your tomorrow. Hats off to the warriors because of whom we have a safe nation
