Each character has to deal with their own introspect and plight. At the end of the day it is how we judge ourselves that makes or breaks us. The delusional will rarely change and they trudge along from one victim to another.
đ Well said Kerrie.
I might be all over the place since my thoughts are all over and I am sounding like a broken record.
I am going to be frank and perhaps rather harsh...sorry Jenny for giving one of your characters a nickname of my own.
__________
Arnav - A good decent man whose one bad decision destroyed many years of his life because of a selfish delusional woman. She has succesfully played him right thru her suicide and has manged to give rise to a rift in a new beginning in his life.
His words to Khushi..."Everything's going to be okay, baby, believe me... I'll take care of everything, you don't have to worry about anything". Really ...when... and why should Khushi have faith in this stand now?? Does he understand the depth of the damage done??
"She needs time..."I'll wait...". Right Arnav...and that you will because... now when you should be in her face you are holding back. Do find yourself first before going after her across three continents.
Interesting angle Kerrie. Even I wonder that if Aastha and Arnav had headed to Khushi's house immediately right from the hospital and Arnav had told the entire truth to Khushi's parents and if Aastha herself had told Khushi that she was not in anyway responsible to what Loony did, would Khushi's decision have been different????
Khushi - Her response to Arnav says it all - "Don't you realize, Arnav..This changes everything". The damage is too stiff and she has judged herself for compromising her beliefs and principles. She sees herself for being the catalyst leading to this major life altering event. I applaud her for paying heed to the voice of self preservation and the instinct to preserve her sanity. She has to look out for herself because no one else is!!
Astha - Whatever she stands for or believes in, today at the appropriate time she spoke up about Aarav's truth on behalf of her son and actually for Khushi as well to "protect" them. IMO she did great, even if Arnav was annoyed and didn't appreciate it, because quite frankly I don't know when... if ever... he would have done it!! Well done Jenny...loved the way this conversaton came about.
And I feel somewhere Aastha is feeling guilty too that all these years she could not see her son suffering and she had overlooked her son's sham of a marriage and now she realises more than ever that her son is indeed a gem of a person.
Arnav's Aarav "torch" has been "on" too long and needs to be put out. No one can erase or challenge the love he feels for his son and disclosing the truth can only bring about healing and sealing the wounds and this innocent child has been pawn enough for both Loony and Arnav!!
I agree with you totally on this. Aarav's paternity reality should be disclosed to all the three families. More than anyone Lavanya has used her son to the maximum extent and someone has to put an end to it.
Sashi - Seems like a rational man who did all he could for his two daughters well into their adulthood. Most likely he indulged them both and never said no specially to the the younger one. She grew up getting what she wanted and when daddy moved on with his life she found Arnav to latch onto and trapped him to "own" him. Knowing what he now knows about Aarav should aid him in helping his daughter. One thing for sure...the Kashyaps will stand together for themselves, irrespective of hurt, lies and deceit to others!!
LoonyLa - "I want to get better, Daddy. I want to get over him...". Awww...How appropriate now that she needs all the sympathies after playing her wicked vindictive card so well and surviving. Wonder what she is going to say when Daddy brings up Aarav's truth...again... if he does. Does she...will she ever really "pay" for her deceit. I think not.
If you see her dialogues, even now she is portraying herself as the victim here. She is putting up a show even now saying she wants to forget him and move on since he can never become hers. But I dont see any guilt in her talks yet. Enough of playing the victim card Lavanya, time to face some harsh realities.
I am really hoping Khushi does not meet with Loony. Why should she??
I strongly feel Khushi will meet Loony La. Lets wait and see what Jen has planned.
I was kidding myself when I said I will keep it short...delusional me!!
