I am a puddle of feelz at the end of Part 2, as usual.
But I've caught up now and will be back with my very-important questions and observations tomorrow, without acting like buzzfeed and filling the page with gifs.

Btw, now we know who is Tewari is, but who are the Sons😕 I just keep feeling that Shyam will make an entrance soon!

Or did Garima's ex-husband inherit it from his father??

Radhika, I read the part 2 of chapter 8 again hoping that the next update will pop up soon. 😆
After reading the part 2, the irony which struck me was, Renu bhabhi not knowing who Arnav is invited him for chai as she saw that he had come to drop Khushi at this time of the night from the hospital and that it was something humane to invite someone inside for a cup of tea or coffee who had come to drop her sis-in-law.

Whereas Poonam, even knowing that Khushi saved her husband's life got her kicked out of the job, stopped her scholarship and almost destroyed her life.

What a difference between characters in this story and in society in general.

I guess education, money, status in the society has nothing to do with being humane and empathetic to another living soul. Then how does one become humble?? Does it come from proper upbringing or it just comes on its own?

I wonder how Poonam's upbringing was??? I have to go back to notes from the past to see if Radhika has written anything at all about Poonam's childhood.

Aami, I really hope Shyam comes back as a changed man. If not for him or his parents, I want a happy ending for Renu and Aarav.

Interesting observation Kavitha. This story has really been about class differences since its inception and Radhikaji has highlighted that aspect of society so accurately in most cases.

In the last chapter in part 1, it was mentioned that Poonam came from a middle-class upbringing. Maybe now that she has so much money, she feels the need to look down on those below her😕

I too hope for a better future for Aarav and Renu Bhabi, but whether that's with Shyam or not, I don't know - what kind of man is he for leaving his parents, sister, wife and child behind like that😡

200% agree with u.. Radhika hasn't explicitly said anything about Poonam's childhood but looks like she is some zamindar or bureaucrats daughter..else who will give HP in dahej!!Badavara mane oota chenna, shrimantara mane nota chenna..this proverb is applicable to Poonam

I for one, do not want Shyam to come back. Or to Renu and Aarav find their happily-ever-after with him. Men like him are despicable. He did not bother about his parents or his sister before running away and I do not know why Renu and Aarav had to come back to the Guptas, but if he left them what would stop him the third time around?
Also, I think Shyam may or not be a Gupta. He could well be a Tewari.
