Jreally nice chapter. Can't wait to see Arnav and Khushi's relationship. He has to work better to gain her trust. I hope he is done with sacrificing his desires for family. It would hurt Khushi in the process. She is very delicate after her mother's death. She doesn't need any more problems

This story is amaaazing!! Love reading it! There's lots going on right now but it looks like things are on their way up now for everyone. Your doing an amazing job with this story and the way u handled all the issues was brilliant. Looking forward to the next update! 😊

The more I thought about it, the more I kind of understood why Shyam asked her if she will be ok about coming second in Arnav's life after his brother.

Shashi loved Garima but for him money, fame was much more important than Garima and he left Garima for that. Garima could not bear that betrayal and suffered till her death.

Does Shyam want to see his sister too in such a situation??? No, ofcourse not, any brother would not want his sister to face the same situation his mother faced.

Arnav broke up with Khushi without even thinking how Khushi would he hurt in the process and he did it for Akash's sake. Arnav never once in the past three weeks tried to find out how Khushi was doing. Only after Akash said that he might be ok if Arnav was with Khushi, then Arnav went to check on Khushi and confess his love for her.

But what kind of love is this which was based on someone else's permission and mercy. Lets say tomorrow Akash says that he is not comfortable with Khushi being his bhabhi, will Arnav break up with Khushi again!!!

If Arnav wants Khushi back, he should learn a lesson to differentiate between his priorities and no where should he weigh Khushi's love against love for someone or something else.

If he did that, then what is the difference between Shashi and Arnav????

I hope you don't mind me butting in Archie. And I apologise ahead if you do not agree with my opinion Kavita.

Arnav wanting someone's permission and mercy before moving on with Khushi would be an unfair assumption.

Let's leave Akash aside for a few minutes. The fact of the matter remains that whatever the relationship between Akash and Khushi was...officially she was Akash's girlfriend. She did not break up with him. Arnav knew it. Despite that he went ahead and kissed Khushi. Isn't he at fault here? You don't hit on your brother's girl irrespective of where that relationship is.

Given this matter...he had let his brother down. And following Akash's anger...he had to break up with Khushi. He was wrong in the first place.

But of course, we know he was in love. With some amount of clarification from Akash... he found fresh hope. Arnav is no God. He is just another ordinary human.,

A love that sacrifices family in the process will hardly succeed. Because it'll be based on someone's' misery (and that someone is your sibling). This is where Arnav's stand comes from.

Let's not forget Khushi is guilty too. It was her confusion that lead to this mess. She knew she did not love Akash yet she did not break up. This is nothing but leading someone on. Thats wrong. The root for her sufferings was borne by the seeds she had sown.

Both Arnav and Khushi made mistakes. I know two wrongs don't make a right. However, it helps when everyone involved is aware of where the rest of the junta' s pov and stand...the mud slinging can stop...the slate can be wiped clean... they can hope for new beginnings...not today...maybe not tomorrow...but sometime not too late in the future.

P.S - As for forgiveness...when it comes to family it happens. The fear of losing family due to grudges makes one forgive and move on from that place.Won't we?

But remember right from the beginning (I think it was when Khushi had got drunk and dialled Arnav's number by mistake) Arnav knew that neither Khushi nor Akash were in love with each other.

And love just happens, you cannot tell your heart that this is not the right time to fall in love and lets fall in love after a few months or something like that.

And we should not forget here that Arnav and Khushi. had not even confessed their love towards each other yet.

The reason I am pissed off with Arnav is, even before Khushi had realised the depth of her feelings towards Arnav, even before Arnav talked to Khushi about how to deal with this situation, even before thinking of a decent way to get out of this mess, he took the coward's way out.

Akash comes home, looks at a news paper clipping, accuses Arnav of backstabbing and what does Arnav do, he leaves a cold voicemail on Khushi's phone that he is breaking up with her.

I know that Akash and Anjali mean the world to Arnav, that does not give him the right to hurt another individual.

And Akash, was he angry because Khushi went behind his back and fell in love or that she fell in love with his brother. If Khushi had fallen for some other guy, would Akash have reacted in a similar way???

Khushi's life has been a very complex one. She loved her father for most of her life and only recently realised that he had loved money more than his wife and kids. She hated her mother for her giving importance to her mourning more than her children, and only recently understood her mother completely. She had found a good friend in Akash but it was only Arnav whom she opened up to.

She did some mistakes in her life including falling in love with Arnav before ending her relationship with Akash, but did she deserve such a cruel treatment from Arnav for that???

Was it not possible for Arnav to have taken a more rational approach in solving this mess than take the easy way out????

Is it wrong if I agree with both of you? 😆 Like Sandhya said, Arnav is human and he cares too much for his family to let anything come in between. After suffering through the trauma of losing both his parents, his only support system is Anjali and Akash. He is more dependent on them, than they are on him. It's something that no one really makes apparent, but its obvious if you understand Arnav.

That being said, what he did with Khushi was also wrong. He made her trust him by going out of his way to take care of her. He never bothered to hide his growing affection for her and put it on full display. So, when he is the first person to make a step forward, he should be the last person to take it back. And like Kavitha said, he weighed the love he had for Khushi and the love he had for his brother on the same scale, when in reality they are two complete different things.

But, of course, these are just my opinions. At the end of the day, Arnav is human. And I feel like we analyze him in too much detail just because he is the hero and we expect him to have a certain standard of morality. He made a wrong decision in a moment of desperation - whether that decision speaks to his character or is simply a mistake, is something only time will tell.

This was just my two cents on the issue - I hope you two don't mind! 😃
