That was what expected and beyond.
I expected Astha to barge in on Arnav and dump it on Arnav what his actions has brought upon Lavanya. I expected Astha to hear Arnav's story but with a cynical mind of societal values se has been raised with. But this was so much better and needed, for once even for Astha. Coz she is the mother and thankfully her mother instinct decided to work ore and above anything else, she decided to hear her son out, to trust him for once instead of judging him.
And now she knows the truth, about here marriage, the circumstance of there marriage and about Aarav. Now after listening to what Arnav had tried doing to make there marriage a success and to Lavanya's responses and reactions she can't blame Arnav for not giving it a chance.
Arnav is blaming himself for Lavanya's sucide attempt knowing well that even if he won't have said those words himself Lavanya would have forced those words out of him. And she actually did, what's with constant nagging and calling even on his duty hours. Asking he same questions again and again.
Arnav knows both Lavanya and Khushi so well. He knew Lavanya can be irrational and elf serving at it's best and he knows that Khushi will be the most hurt when she learn about this. He knows that Khushi is another pure soul in his life after Aarav and his only chance to life, to happiness. And his opening up to Astha is a proof that he doesn't want Khushi to get hurt in all this, and there resolute in his eyes before entering the hospital is even more strong for Khushi than Himself.
But it's too late, he doesn't know the damage is already done by the Kashyap sisters. They have already wounded the pure heart of Khushi and what was left was ripped apart by her parents un understanding behavior and blaming eyes.
Now I understand why Arnav kept quite about Aarav's paternity coz he had made that promise to that pure soul of always being his father. And he is Living up to it until now. but what about Khushi now? What is she suffering because of that promise?
And unmistakably Lavanya is taking advantage of this situation to even though she knows nothing about this promise. She is sick or wicked I seriously can't tell cause she like to mold people, there words, the situations according to her need, likes and obsession and use it in her favor.
Now I seriously doubt if Lavanya loved Aarav unconditionally as a mother loves or was it her conditional love for Aarav to keep Arnav around???
