Lavanya I think was an indulged child who always got what she wanted and learnt early on to "play" people to bag the prize. It's one thing to get what you want from your family, but to get the love of a man who doesn't love you is an entire different matter. I also think there are some "mommie" issues in the Kashyap family.
Lavanya is correct in that Arnav married her because she told him the child was his. He had every intention to make the marriage work on the foundation of friendship that he felt for her. However, sooner or later lies surface and the causal mention of La's blood type by a friend changed the direction of the marriage.
Lavanya is a sore looser. She knew that while Arnav will stay in the marriage for Aarav he will not extend her any marital bliss. She is now even more insecure and cruel. Unfortunately there are no guarantees in a relationship based on lies.
For Arnav the marriage was always about Aarav before and after his truth. With Aarav gone in a sad circumstance and her cruel insinuations he had enough and decided to end the marriage.
Arnav wants the divorce not because of Aarav, but because of Lavanya. He wants to protect Aarav because the child is innocent in Lavanya's deceit. It does not matter to him that Aarav is not his blood, he is his son in all senses.
Khushi knows the truth and that is enough for Arnav.
On the other hand Lavanya will again use the truth to hurl more insults to Arnav and those present will hear it...it actually is her "truth" to tell.
Lavanya's love is a "marriage trap" while Khushi's love is "Set it free and if true it will return".
I think I am done with my thoughts and just wait for Jenny to divulge the story. My head hurts.
