Epilogue
Jeevika sat on the dressing table getting ready for bed. She was in her red night gown, brushing her hair and just going over the events of the last few days. Just as she put her brush down she looked up to see Viren sitting on her side of the bed looking at her and smiling. It reminded her of what he had said in the car earlier about watching her while she preps for bed every night and actually noticed that her forehead was actually creasing from thinking too much. She quietly smiled to herself and said, "Virenji aap meri side pe kya karr rahe hain? Aapko sona nahi hai?"
"Kyun? Main tumhaari side pe nahi so sakta?"
"Nahi! Aur aap jeans mein toh bilkul nahi so sakte. Aap jaake change karlijiye, kaafi raat hogayi hai."
When Viren stepped out of the Bathroom he saw Jeevika entering the room with a glass of juice in her hand. She kept it on Viren's bedside table. Viren stood next to the bed and watched as she turned around after fluffing his pillows, taking out his medicine and setting the alarm on his phone. Just as she was about to cross him to go to her side of the bed Viren caught hold of her hand and embraced her from behind.
"Well thank you Jeevika."
"Thank you Kis liye??"
"Bass aise hi. Thode thode dino mein apni wife ko thank you bolte rehna chaahiye."
"Accha? Aur seekh aapko kisne di?"
"Bande ka original thought hai!" Viren said proudly!
Jeevika laughed. She turned around and said, "Thank you toh mujhe aapko kehna chaahiye. Virenji jabse mamma papa gaye hain tabse main Maanvi ki badi behen and beeji aur chachu ki beti banke rahi hoon. Hamesha sabse responsible, hamesha sabse mature. Mujhe pamper karne waala, ya mujhe special feel karaane waala kabhi koi nahi tha. Main kabhi kisiki princess nahi thi." She held his hand with both of hers and continued, "Maine kabhi kisise pyaar nahi kiya. Hua nahi ya maine hone nahi diya main nahi jaanti. Lekin hamesha apne aap ko bacha ke rakha hai. Apne heart ko ek cotton padding mein rakha hai. I never wanted to be vulnerable. Never wanted to let anyone know that they can affect me enough to break my heart. And thus no one ever could. I never let someone have that much power over me. But you.. you're the only one who has enough of me to break my heart."
"Jeevika, Sheena..."
"Virenji I am sorry! Maine aaj subah jaise react kiya mujhe nahi karna chaahiye tha! I should have trusted you. Maine bohot kuch keh diya. Yeh bhi nahi dekha ki meri life mein ek aap hi toh ho jo mujhe pamper karte ho." Jeevika finished with a smile.
"Ho gaya tumhaara? Ab main kuch bolun?"
"Boliye.."
"Tum Bilkul sunki ho."
"Kya?"Jeevika was wide eyed and her jaw just dropped open.
"Haan. Sunki. Pagal. Woh kya kehte hain... Baawli!"
"Virenji!!"
"Kya Virenji? Ek toh 3 saal puaari baat ka batangad bana diya ho, uske baad uske liye apologise karne ke liye bhi itni lambi kahaani suna di. Main kya bolne waala thaw oh tu bhulwa hi diya. Aise hi Maanvi Badnaam hai, use badi nautanki toh tum ho." Viren was laughing! He walked over to his side of the bed and sat down leaning against the head board.
"Mujhe aapse baat hi nahi karni."
Jeevika was fuming while Viren couldn't control his laughter. He was almost rolling on the floor laughing.
"Dekha? Phir se.. Nautanki!"
She stomped over to her side of the bed, picked up a cushion and threw it at him. "Stop laughing! It's not funny!"
"Tumne mujhpe cushion pheka?" Before she knew it Viren was chasing hurling cushions and pillows at her, which she was picking up and throwing right back at him. He got up from the bed and started to chase her around the room. Eventually he caught hold of her by her waist and then both landed on the bed, her on top of him. Neither of them could stop laughing.
As she was getting off him he held her hand such that they were lying next to each other holding hands.
"You know," Viren Said, "This is forever. No matter what, no matter who, I am not letting go of this hand. You can push me away, you can leave, you can fight, but I am never ever letting go of you." He kissed her forehead, then her nose and just as he was about to kiss her lips he pulled away for a second and said, "Although if you leave again, I will be really Pissed Off!" and crashed his lips on her, claiming her!
Hi everyone! This post was due long ago and I am sorry for the delay. Guys please leave comments. If you don't like it say that.. if you think there needs to be some improvement say that... I was really disappointed with the reaponse on two bodies one soul which is kinda why I didn't feel like writing this Epilogue!
And if the response on this is just as dull I shall not be writing the FF I had promised. Sorry but that's how it is.
That being said... I really hope you people like this update! :D
