How lucky is Khushi to have a Manorama in her life!

All the people close to her and who were family to her were taken away too soon.

But Manorama seems to have made up amply for the loss .

This chapter was all about reminiscing about good times and bad.

And the MIL- DIL bonding.

Khushi lost not just her husband, but also her best friend.

Thats a double loss.

What I like most about this story MB is, the fact that you have shown Khushi in love with Naren and that she was happy with him and misses him too.

Many writers tend to show Arnav and Khushi as the only love of each others life and that they cannot be happy without the other. This is not how it is in real life.

I loved the text messages.

This showed that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Though Khushi is morose and unhappy for now, a happy future does await her.

Love the story and love your writing MB.

Wow love how use words to describe such moving scenes,

sometimes I don't understand what's the case, do I cry easily or is it you who make me tear up at each para!!! Am sure its the second one!!

Those, reminisces of him by her, by them about the past, don't know how you make them so magical like!! Don't know what you do, but whatever you do, its amazing!!

Loved their messaging!!

Their banter, her impatience, the dithering in her mind, loved them all!!

Proof of the fact that they are not yet over, and 10 years have not been able destroy it!!!

Waiting for the next update!!

I really liked the parts where Manorama was reminiscing about her marriage and her life with her husband and also Khushi thinking of Naren in that heart-wrenching way. I happened to listen to a part of a talk show on NPR about giving material gifts vs "experiences" during the holiday season. Memories and experiences are there forever and are priceless!

I loved the text messages between Arnav and Khushi - both have loved and lost, but you are building up their relationship so beautifully!

Am glad that Kushi's relationship with NK was strong...they were best of friends in fact. May be that was what brought them together what her break up with ASR. In contrast, Manorama's relationship with her husband brought in some harsh realities.

You have a command over the words..images just floats into your mind even without the details you sketch!!..the imageries you paint touches one's heart. The fact that Kushi is no longer hates rain, or is frighten about thunder and lightening. The gravity of insomnia and the clinging to memories of the loved one through home videos, how she checks on her daughter, the relationship Kushi has with Manorama..their conversation, ASR on back of her mind, even without her knowledge she is expecting his message!! the outward indifference to his messages, the disappointment coursing through when it is delayed, the acceptance that she still cares about him and his safe arrival..so many emotions accompanied..
