Omg you writing a short story again? There's no way I'll NOT be reading this! I regret having missed all your previous fics but now I'm so not gonna miss this one!
Firstly, you describe the beauty of Nainital beautifully! I'd visited the place years back...when i was 13 i guess but I'd fallen in love with the serenity and calm atmosphere of the city!
Coming back to the story, I'll have to say it was very intriguing! I guess it's the first fic I'm reading where Arnav is Manorama's child...and i guess another first where Manorama is a rather polished character lol! However, as they say some things never change, so her attitude towards the Guptas is bitter as usual...but it was nice to get a glimpse her softer side that set the fact that she isn't an absolute negative character!
And how I love ready-to-kill-each-other kinda couples and Arnav and Khushi for me are the best characters for handling love-hate relationships! I'm so looking forward to how their relationship evolves...and also the very unsuspected couple that i can only guess are not as 'busy' and 'shy' as they are assumed to be! But well that's just a guess. I can never be sure when it comes to your stories, cuz you always tend to surprise me with your little twists!
Okay so yeah i totally loved the beginning and am extremely excited to read further!

I love how you do this in your writing. You made Manorama the complete opposite with the her posh upbringing and what looks like spectacular language skills only to have her have the same reserves about the Guptas and Raizaida marriages.
