8 years later,

Khushi was now a 24 year old beautiful lady. She had completed her education. She had tried many ways to forget Arnav, thinking he loves Lavanya, but she just couldn't. And so she always ended up chatting with him as Lavanya and not as Khushi. She was afraid as her love would be crushed by him.

She also had other worries. Neal was also coming back today, that means, she had to abide to the condition of getting engaged with him.

Neal," so Khushi, I have something to ask u"

Khushi was silent and then spoke,

Khushi, "what?"

Neal smiled and said,

Neal," engage with me."

Khushi,"Why should I? You have nothing that could get me engaged with you." She wasn't scared of him as Lavanya was. But she was quite apprehensive about what Neal's parents would do with her family. Hence she put forth a condition for him.

Khushi, "But if you become something in your life not just the one who enjoys his father's money, I would get engaged with you and transfer all of my family's property on your name."

Neal passed his wicked smile to Khushi and said, "Okay done."

She was quite sure, that he wouldn't accept but now, as Neal had taken her condition seriously, she was worried.

That was the last time she saw Neal. She had also then come to know from her Mom that he had left for States to complete his degree course.

She was glad that she didn't have to face him in last few years.

But now, he was a well-educated man with a bad nature and motive and he was coming back to get her and her property, she had to act fast now.

It was 10 at night, so she decided to keep away her worries for time being and just logged in to her laptop. She was happy to see Arnav online. Just before she. Could click on his name to have a chat with him, she saw his text pop up on the screen.

Arnav: Hi dear!

Khushi (as Lavanya): Hey there Arnav!

Arnav:How are you Lav? Where had you been all these days?

Khushi: I am good, Arnav. Just had been quite busy with some stuff, so didn't have time to come online.

Arnav: Oh okay. I need to tell you a great news Lav..

Khushi: Oh! What is it Arnav, I'm already excited! Did you finally get that deal?

Arnav: YES! I did! You just need to hear the even better part of it, that is, the project has been set up in India, that too in Gurgaon near Delhi. Isn't that great?

Khushi: OMG Arnav! That's super great news!! When are you coming here, btw?

Arnav: It will start next month but I'll join by the end of next month. So, I would probably come 15 days prior to my joining date.

Khushi: Okay. I'll be waiting for you, come soon.

Before she could understand what she had typed, she had already hit the send' button. And now she was regretting it. So, she immediately went offline without waiting for his reply.

Khushi wasn't in her senses when Arnav said he was coming back. It was already 8 years since he left.

He had grown up into completely handsome man.. she knew. He had sent her his pictures online.

But he didn't know how she looked like, rather how Lavanya looked like. She never contacted him as Khushi. She didn't even know that he remembered Khushi or not. But then she thought that when Arnav is coming back, she has to search for Lavanya too. She didn't have any idea,where Lavanya was. She had kept her promise. She never searched for Lavanya.

But now she has to and she will.

Next morning, she had a very expected visitor at her doorstep. That was none other than Neal. As soon as he saw Khushi, he smirked and scanned her full grown up form, his eyes lingering for a bit more time on her curves. Just then her Mom came to see who the visitor was and was glad to see Neal. She immediately ushered him in. Khushi's parents were unaware of Neal's and his family's true intention as Neal had made a quite good image of himself in front of their eyes. Khushi just passed him a disgusted look and made a dash towards her room as it was impossible to share same room space with him.
