CHAPTER-2

Arnav came out of the bathroom only to find Khushi asleep on the bed on one side and giving him space to sleep on other side but being the gentleman he was he didn't find it right to sleep besides a girl without her knowledge. So he went and slept on the recliner and almost immidieatly dozed off. It was a long day for him both emotionally and physically.

Morning rays hit the French doors as Arnav got up on the recliner with a sting in his back due to sleeping all night on the hard surface of the recliner. He got up from there rubbing his eyes and that's when he noticed Khushi standing there with a stern expression on her face and hands folded across her chest she was looking at him angrily.

Khushi - Do I look like Hitler to you?

Arnav (confused) - Sorry ?

Khushi- You should be Arnav...How dare you sleep here...

Arnav- Oh that who actually----

Khushi- what Arnav what do you want to explain. I am not allergic and I don't have any contagious disease that you cannot sleep besides me... Arnav you make me feel like a Hitler who is torturing you in your own house. I know this will be some policy of yours to trap me here but I am telling you Arnav these tricks of yours won't work on me...

Arnav- Shut Up Khushi just shut up I don't understand what is wrong with you why are you making issue on small things I didn't sleep with you because my heart won't allow me to sleep with a girl who has no feelings for me but if you feel so guilty about it then I will sleep on bed from today end of discussion

Saying this he went inside the bathroom to finish with his bath and get down for the breakfast with his family as he was compelled to take a holiday for a week from his office so he was free now.After getting fresh Arnav came out of the bathroom so that he can join his in laws and family for the breakfast. When he was getting out of the room he noticed a glass of water and a pain killer probably for his back. Smiling to himself Arnav took the pain killer as he thought that she showed atleast this much care towards him. He sighed and headed towards the breakfast table.

Everyone was assembled the Gupta's and the Raizada's were on the dining table. Chatting and giggling they had a great time with each other. Today first time the newly wedded bride had made breakfast. Arnav and Lavanya were sitting together and were in a deep discussion about business.

Nani- Chotte aaj aapki biwi ne khas aapke liye Breakfast banaya hai... (Your wife has made special breakfast for you)

Arnav- Ji nani I know that...

Anjali- Khushi serve the breakfast to everyone please will you...

Khushi- Sure Di... I will bring it out...

Khushi served the breakfast to everyone and brought a different plate of Aloo paratha for Arnav giving the excuse of using less butter in his paratha. Arnav was very surprised to see her care for him and had the first morsel of Paratha...and was shocked to react anything...

The paratha had soo much chilly in it that he felt that smoke will come out of his ears. He looked at Khushi who was smirking looking at him...he was so hurt by her action two minutes ago he thought she cared for him but now his misunderstanding was cleared. He looked at her and thought so you want to hurt me is it Khushi? Fine I love you and fulfill your wish is my duty You want me to eat this and hurt myself then so be it...He ate paratha without any complaint. He ate quarter portion of it but still didn't had water.

Seeing this Khushi's smirk vanished now she was getting really afraid and worried seeing him in this condition and started fiddling with her saree's end. She offered him water at last when she felt her patience wearing off

Khushi- Arnav have water I make spicy food you are not used to eat it

Arnav- No Khushi its really okay you made this for me YOU wanted me to it eat and its really tasty(He said that but tears were formed in his eyes due to extra chilly)

Khushi couldn't take it anymore she went inside the kitchen and brought the sugar free she had made for him originally. She went towards him snatched the plate and kept the Kheer in front of him.

Khushi- Arnav please have it the paratha is really spicy for you.

But Arnav just got up from there not caring that the chair fell behind and went in his room not befor telling his di that he remembered some important work and was not hungry. Arnav rushed the stairs leaving a teary eyed Khushi behind.
