A big Muaaah to you and Jigs for what I need a lot of for this particular story...Faith:) Love you both and all of my readers who have stood by this story in the faith that I will always try my best to not insult their sensibilities in any way :) As my readers know already, I have a penchant for choosing sensitive topics for my stories...and that is because I want to grow as a writer by endeavoring to pull off writing convincingly about these admittedly awkward topics... reincarnation, child bride, tragedy, widow remarriage, hidden dreams of a BS-SI fan;). And you can imagine the headaches I've had in trying to do justice to all of these..,lol.
I have to say, I totally agree with Jigs on this one...Don't get me wrong, I love this story, and I LOVE your writing Jenny, but somehow,. after every update, I keep wishing that something really bad would come out about La, to make us hate her and justify Arnav's actions.I find it hard to digest him having a full fledged relationship while his marriage is still unresolved totally. I know the marriage was a sham, and she lied to him and all, but if she still holds a wish to get back together with him, and she is reformed now, then it would be really sad.So, like Jigs said so eloquently, I would love for this to be resolved, once and for all, and resolved in a good way, with no questions left handing. Then I feel I can enjoy the A and K romance much better.I do have total faith in your writing , and know that I will love what ever you have in store!
Showing Lavanya as an out and out vamp would have been the easier way out ..(Like I did with Sean of ALS) but I wanted to challenge myself by showing her a somewhat likable but emotionally challenged human who's made a mess of her life by making bad decisions. Am I trying to prove that my protagonists always make the right decisions ...no:) Nor am I trying to romanticize being in reelationship with a still married/ almost divorced man...Not at all. It's about two people, Arnav and Khushi who have this inexplicable, undeniable connection with each other and how their emotions become inextricably intertwined ...and lead them to make certain decisions...which cause repercussions like all decisions...how they deal with these repercussions. How in the process of finding their way back to each other...they discover new things about themselves and life in general...
And I'd better go before I reveal the whole plot here...LOL.
Love you guys and really, really appreciate your honest feedback.. 🤗
And your faith..❤️
