Enjoying reading this discussion on Lavanya :) 'Muse' has a different signicance attached to it...It's not where they'd gone for their after-graduation party. Lavanya has been an enigma so far and from next chapter...her character will be revealed slowly.

I felt just too bad for Khushi, Arnav, Sujata, Navin : in general I am in a 'dukhi' mood and I am angry at Lavnya 😕 😡!!!

Khushi's thoughts, her insecurities, her dilemma are genuine. She is in a very difficult position. And my heart went out for her when she was waiting for reassurance from Arnav 😭. I was glad that at least Arnav could give her some peace before leaving!!

I wouldn't deny that even after understanding Sujata's situation, I was being unfair to her and the main reason because my love for Arhi, I was being bias!! But after today's update and looking as a perspective of a mother, I can totally understand Sujata's hostile behavior towards Arnav and her disappointment in Khushi. Till now back of my mind, I was like what's Sujata's problem and why can't she see what Navin can able to see but not today, I know she is right and I know both Arnav and Khushi have to work hard to get her approval.

Now to Lavnya! So first of all when she left Arnav, it was not amicable separation by any definition. In past year or so after their separation, they didn't talk two words and after one call from him she is back to daydreaming! I
mean what's the meaning of all the sessions with NK when the result would be this. Their relationship started on the bases of compromise and lie. She had done biggest mistake of her life by imposing herself to Arnav. Arnav didn't love her and wouldn't have married her if not sense of guilt and responsibility. She didn't understand that time and she is getting all wrong now. I am hoping that she understands him now!

I am not discounting Khushi's dream at all. Her parents were very successful in Creating this doubt in her mind about her status in this relationship. It is due to their showing her the harsh reality that Khushi is now on shaky ground and doubting her instinct and questioning her position in his life. She is also very connected to Arnav and I think she senses that he may separate from her mentally and physically while he sorts out his life. I would have expected her to be by his side supporting him but now with evyone agreeing to their staying away from each other till he is divorced...separation seems inevitable.

In light of that situation, I really found their good bye disappointing and out of character. Or have I misunderstood how blase they were...as if they will see each other again in a day...which is not the case here.

Arnav disturbs me with his reticence and the occasional look that flickers / surfaces in his eyes. I wonder what he is thinking about and why will he not reveal more? I feel that there is a lot more that went on in that marriage than meets the eye. Again, am I being paranoid?

Navin and Sujata seem like they represent every parent because I see glimpses of my understanding and quiet father in him and in her I see my quick to react and judgemental mother who always has lofty expectation and little tolerance for human failure and views every action in terms of a reflection on her upbringing.

I can hardly wait till the next update.

Loved the feedback :) The meaning of those fleeting expressions in Arnav's eyes will be revealed soon (No, you're not paranoid:)) And about that goodbye, I can understand where you're coming from...but I guess I was trying to show that they don't really believe they'll be separated from each other for long. IMHO, it kind of showcases their hopeful state of mind ...where they believe that Lavanya will free him soon.

is muse the place they met? that would be an intense place to have this conversation, lol. Also, khushi's dad is super chill, i like him. But i do understand the mom's reaction. Society over everything right :P

Lavanya looked at her reflection one last time and sprayed some 'Allure Sensuelle' on the pulse points of her neck and wrists. That one sleeve, midnight blue Balenciaga creation suited her, she thought confidently, her heart quickening at the thought of her husband who waited downstairs.

It was their first anniversary and they were going to 'Muse' for dinner.
