CHAPTER 5
LOVE SONG
"Sss, dekh loongi tumhe Parth." Vidushi walked the corridors rubbing her butt vigorously.
"And I thought, Parth Kashyap completed his responsibility" Maya's voice made her jump. Turning around she saw, her standing a few steps behind her.
Great..!! First Parth and now the DEAN... Attack de do mujhe.. Abhi tak to main Parth ke saath date par bhi nahi gayee Vidushi cursed mentally.
"Er.. Mam, I was coming to your cabin only."
"Hmm.. I can see that. So did Parth accompanied you to the college?"
"Er.. Yes Mam." Vidushi blushed.
"Not again.." Maya rolled her eyes. "Come to my cabin.". With that Vidushi followed her.
Sitting on her chair, Maya said "Hmm I am impressed.. A man of his words, Parth Kashyap. He picked you up on time. It's 11:30 sharp. Good".
"Er.. Yes Mam." Vidushi blushed and grinned goofily as the words "I told the Dean I'll pick you up" rang her ears.
"Tell me one thing Vidushi, are you both playing who blushes more game?" Maya's voice brought her back.
"Er.. No.. No Mam.. Umm.. Parth was blushing?" She asked bewildered.
"Indeed", came her reply.
"How many times Mam?" Vidushi blurted out before knowing what she was asking.
Raising her left eyebrow, Maya replied "I'll keep the count from now on Vidushi. Oh, what a pleasure to be the referee.!!"
"N..No Mam.. Sorry Mam."
"Ohkay.. Now, tomorrow, please give me your timings for all the days when you'll be going for this job. So that, Parth doesn't scream in the corridors horrified at your return timings." She sighed.
"Umm.. Yes Mam.. Sure Mam.." Vidushi couldn't help blushing again.
"Hmm.. Good night Vidushi"
"Good night Mam", with that she turned around and walked to the door.
"Vidushi.." her voice halted her as she opened the door.
"Yes Mam."
"The score is 3 - 2. You are officially leading with full 1 blush. Have a good night". Maya smirked as Vidushi rushed out of her cabin.

"Aa gaye Parth bhai", Jiggy welcomed Parth into their room. Lying on his bed, on his elbow, Randhir waved at Parth. CID session... Not again.. Shit.. Kya boloongaa.. Kahaan gaya tha.. Parth racked his brain as he took his watch out and kept on his side table. Trying to sound casual, he asked, "So guyz.. wassup?.. Kya kar rahe ho?"
"Gaana sun rahe the Parth bhai" Jiggy said enthusiastically. Randhir smiled again.
"Arey waah.. Konsa gaana?" Parth asked relieved.
"Naya hai ekdum.. Sunega?" Randhir asked him.
"Ofcourse.. Zaroor sunoonga" Parth said.
"Aaao Randhir bhai.." Jiggy told him and both Randhir Jiggy stood in the middle of the room facing Parth's bed.
Parth's eyes popped out at the sight in front of him.
SPIDERMAN.. SPIDERMAN.. TUNE CHURAAYAA MERE DIL KA CHAINNN...
OI SPIDERMAN.. SPIDERMAN.. TUNE CHURAAYAAA MERE DIL KA CHAINNN
Randhir and Jiggy sang on top of their voices.. doing the Naagin dance.
"YE KYA KAR RAHE HO TUM LOG" Parth roared. The room fell into deadly silence as both of them looked at Parth's ready to explode face. Parth slammed his forehead at the sight in front of him.
SPIDERMAN.. SPIDERMAN.. TUNE CHURAAYAA MERE DIL KA CHAINNN...
OI SPIDERMAN.. SPIDERMAN.. TUNE CHURAAYAAA MERE DIL KA CHAINNN
Randhir and Jiggy had roared laughing and started singing the same song again. This time with pelvic dance movements..
"CHUP HO JAAAO.. DONO.." Parth roared clenching his fists.
"Jiggy.. Doctor Octopus" .. Randhir chuckled and with that the room echoed again.
"Par Randhir bhai.. Parth ke to 2 hi haath hain.."
"Unhi dono se gala dabaa doonga tera.." Parth hissed.
"Randhir bhai.." Jiggy mocked terror.
"Chill Jiggy.. Mary Jane bachaa legi tujhe" ... Parth closed his eyes as Jiggy and Randhir rolled out laughing.
Bloody JUNIORSSS.. Parth cussed.
"Parth bhai.. Date par gaye the?.. Spiderman waali kisss..."
"JIGGGYYY", Parth roared.

Two hours later when finally the teasing session ended and his roommates fell asleep, Parth thought, Exactly.. Shit.. Maine abhi tak Vids ko date ke liye bhi nahi poochha hai. Kal poochhoonga.. Parth resolved.

The lab buzzed with muffled giggles and discussions as Vidushi walked in. "What are you guyz doing at this time? You still have 2 hours to go right?" Vidushi asked perplexed.
"Spidy called us", a student blurted out. Before the class could howl in laughter, Parth's head had jerked up. Glaring at the boy, he spoke. "I called them earlier. And I have done the preparations. Just help me out with fixing this piece Vidushi",came Parth's voice from behind the group of students. Good job Parth he patted himself as he had the perfect opportunity to ask her for date. He had told the students to come early so that before Vidushi leaves, he can spend time with her.
While fixing the piece, the students peeped into the piece with every interest in the world. Frustrated with the constant attention, Parth roared patting his head, "YAHAAN BAITH JAAO SAB KE SAB. MOVE TO YOUR TABLES. JAB FIX HO JAAYEGA TAB BULAA LOONGA". The students rushed to their tables.
"Kya hua? Itne hyper kyun ho? Aur ye Spidy kon hai?" Vidushi whispered. Parth opened his mouth and then closed it.
"OKK.. This will take time to finish.. You guyz leave. I'll call you up" he said irritatingly. The students looked at him with confusing expressions.
"Shall I roll a RED CARPET", he smiled.
"No Sir"
"THEN LEAVE" and with that the lab got empty with only Parth and Vidushi behind.

"Tum.." ... "Tum mere saath date par chal rahi ho" Parth cut her in between.
"Kyun?.." Vidushi asked teasingly.
"Ye kaisa sawaal hai?", he asked stumped. He was expecting a blushing Vidushi and here she was enjoying the drill.
"Aur nahi to kya.. Kyun?.. Umm.. Do you love me?"
"No.. nope.." Parth covered up.
"To fir kyun chalenge hum date par?"
"Kyunki.. Ummm..." this was so damn difficult. Parth looked up thinking for a valid answer.
"Haaan.. Kyunki MAIN DREAM TEAM KA CAPTAIN HOON".. he raised his chin.
"What?" Vidushi asked baffled.
"Haan.. Main captain hoon. Isliye main jo kahoonga wahi hoga"
"Are you DRUNK? Daaroo pee hai tumne?" Vidushi gasped.
"Shut up Vidushi.. Main CAPTAIN Hoon..Dekho.." Parth glared.
"Main dekh rahi hoon Parth", Vidushi rolled her eyes.
"Aur main DEAN hoon.. Aur Main bhi dekh rahi hoon.." Maya announced standing on the door.

"Mam.." Parth and Vidushi said together with horrified looks.
"Yes.. I suppose students ko padhaana tha tum logon ko... Kahaan hai tumhaare juniors?" She asked.
"THOSE LO.." Parth roared thinking about the teasing they had done but retracted his statement as Maya raised her eyebrow.
"Those LOVELY students Mam. Kitne mehnat ki hai unhone KAL. Its Sunday so I thought I should give them a much deserved OFF" Parth said with a tight jaw and forced smile.
"Hmm.. How thoughtful Mr. Kashyap. Vidushi same time today as well. And yes, Mr. Kashyap you can PICK her up." Maya sighed as Parth had opened his mouth again for permission.

"Maya", Vardhan's voice interrupted her as she walked towards her cabin.
"I know my name Vardhan. Say something new.", She said bored.
"What do you think you are doing?"
"Walking", she replied with an isn't it obvious expression on her face.
"What I meant was about Vidushi and Parth. You keep a check on them and for god sake you TEASE them", he said baffled.
"Oh well.. Let's see.. I am somebody who is more into things which are VERY VERY INTERESTING. Also, why should kids have all the fun." She winked and walked inside her cabin, leaving behind a stumped Vardhan.

"That's cheating you know.. Dhamkaa ke mujhe date par laaana.. Hadd gunda gardi hai ye. Technically you should say that You Love Me." Vidushi tried to trick him as they returned back from her job.
"Dhamkaa ke.. Are you Serious?.. Main tumhaare liye chaat lekar aaya... Gulab jamun lekar aaya.. Jab se hum wahaan se nikle hain tab se tum khaaaye jaa rahi ho.. Itne maze to kisi hostage ke nahi hote" Parth complained.
Vidushi laughed loudly. "Hanso mat. Mmm.. okay tell me so what was your idea of perfect date." Parth asked eager to know if this adjusted date between their return to hostel was good enough.
Walking ahead of him, she said.. "Mmm.. Open roof car, long drive, posh restaurant and a candle light dinner."
Parth stopped dead behind her as his heart sank.
Turning around she grinned at her shaken date, "But tab main stupid thi. Now that I have a good Captain. Main intelligent ho gayee hoon. This is PERFECT. Chaat and gulab jamun. And a long walk. A healthy date." She giggled. Parth breathed a sigh of relief and felt as if his heart started beating again.
"Actually tum perfect ho.. Bas ek doubt hai mujhe?" Vidushi asked.
"What doubt?" Parth asked grinning broadly.
"Tum part time coolie the kya pehle?"
"What?"

"Aur nahi to kya.. ghadi ghadi mujhe bori ki tarah kandhe par daal dete ho. Captain nahi Coolie ho tum" Vidushi laughed at him with hands on her waist.
"Achhaa abhi batata hoon main kya hoon" Parth rolled his sleeves up and marched forward.
"Don't you dare Kashyap.. I'll KI.." Her words drowned as Parth pulled her into a passionate kiss.
Breaking away from the kiss, Vidushi giggled.. "Ooopss.. Charming Coolie.. Swept me off..".
"Exclusive services Mam", Parth chuckled and lifted Vidushi as he took her lips back into a soft kiss. Wrapping her legs around his waist, Vidushi mashed her one hand into his hair and stroked his Adam's apple with the thumb of her other hand.
Curiosity forced him to break apart.
"You like this a lot, isn't it?" He asked panting.
"This?" she tapped his Adam's apple.
"Mmmhmm", he smiled.
"I love it.. It.. umm.. It fascinates me." She confessed looking at her thumb move with it as Parth gulped.
Not getting any response, she looked up at him.
"You fascinate me." He breathed and merged their lips again. Bringing her closer and stroking her cheeks, he deepened the kiss. Every time she confessed something, he would just lose it. The control, the Sense, the rational thinking... Every thing.
As their tongues met, Parth grabbed her hair. As he sucked her lower lip, Vidushi pulled apart catching her breathe.
"I am sorry.. Are you ok?" Parth asked her. Resting her forehead, on his chest, she mumbled a faint "Hmm".
Say it. Nope... On an actual date. Will confess to her on a better date than this Parth resolved.
Catching their breathes, Parth put her down and kissed her hair. "Let's go."

"M BORED" Vidushi said after sometime.
"Bas thodi der aur. We are almost there" Parth said.
"Tab tak kya?... Let's imitate a song." Vidushi said with excitement.
"What?... Imitate.. Konsa.. Baby Doll" Parth laughed out loud teasing her on the holi performance.
"Ha ha ha.. very funny.. Nahi .. Mmm.. ye wala song?" She played on her phone. The minute the song played Parth got her trick.
Trying to fool me haan Vids.. M not gonna be trapped. He resolved.
"Ok done."
"Okk.. I'll be the male lead, you'll be the female lead. And no arguments. Ladki hokar ladki ki acting nahi karoongi main.. No thrill in that." She put her foot down.
"Ohkkk.. DONE", Parth grinned.
And Vidushi started..

Parth laughed loud.. "Masst gaanaa hai". Vidushi's temper rose.
"Hanso mat.. Chalo ladki waala para gaao"
"Ohkkk.."
ACCHHA CHALO CHHEDO AAGE KAHAANI, HOTI HAI KYA BOLO PYAAR KI NISHAAANIII
With that Vidushi jumped with excitement..

"What the HELL... Ending change nahi kar sakte" Vidushi scolded.
"Gender change kar sakte hain to ending bhi change kar sakte hain" Parth laughed throwing his head back.
"FINE".

"Arrrghhh Vidhushiii" Parth screamed, clutching his foot, as Vidushi has stepped on his foot right in front of the college gates.
"I am sorry.." Vidushi pleaded
"Its ok.." Parth said
"No I am really sorry", Vidushi pressed again
"Its ok Vidushi", Parth closed his eyes curbing the pain.
"Aise kaise its ok.. I am sorry"... Vidushi stressed again.
"Vidushiii ITS OK".. Parth lost his cool. His fingers were throbbing and Vidushi was ranting the same chant.
"Are you sure.. thik hai", she started again
"Haan hai", he hissed.
"Bahut dard ho raha hai?"
"Haan"
"Chal sakoge?"
"Haaan"
"Bahut dard ho raha hai?"
"Kitni baar poochogi Vidushi... Haaan Ho raha hai?"
"Tumhaare paas pain killer hai?"
"HAAAN HAI"
"Paani ki bottle hai"
"HAAAN BABA HAIII"
"Tumko mujhse pyaar hai?"
"AREY YAAR HAAAN HAIII"
"What noo... " he said baffled as Vidushi danced in front of the watchman.
"I KNEW IT.. YESSS.. GOTCHAAA.. GOOD NIGHT PAAARTH..." with that Vidushi kissed him full on lips and ran inside the gates leaving behind a limping Parth.

"Heheh.. Beta tumhaari girl friend hai ye?" The watchman asked him.
"Haan hai", Parth sulked as he walked into the college.
