This was what home felt like - this had always been the place she would run to five years ago when she was upset, angry, sad, or happy - she had always found herself in his arms. This time she cried - she cried her heart out, she let her emotions stain his shirt, and he held her protectively, caressing her hair, silently telling her that he was there for her, speaking genuine promises of the future. Her heart struggled to believe him, but this drowning heart had given up hopes of ever finding air again.''- this clearly indicates how much she loves him till now, how much she found ya may i say finds solace in his arms.

"Keep fighting," Randhir murmured into her ear.

How could she tell him she was finally letting gravity pull her down? How could she tell him that even though she was suffocated and her lungs had filled up with everything but oxygen, it was still a much better alternative to what fighting had given her?

But she didn't tell him. Because she stopped fighting. She let the universe pull her down. She decided to see how much deeper it would take her before it finally let her go.-from here i can see how much broken, how much hurt she is...sanyukta has stopped fighting against the world? this is so hurtful.

"Okay," she told him. "I just... I just want my mind to calm down. It's telling me if I do this, I'll get attached to you again."

He looked at her, as if he was searching for something inside her eyes.

"Sanyukta, you're not attached to me already?" he asked, sighing.

He was right. She was already attached... how could she fall more attached than this? awww how much they know each other...or i should say randhir knows sanyukta...but he could not trust her when it was most required because of his ego...where there is ego, there can't be love...it is very very very much hard to forgive randhir for sanyukta...i just don't know how randhir will manage her forgiveness.

"But I'm not doing the right thing with Parth," she murmured, ready to bear another taunt from him.

To her surprise, that taunt didn't come. Instead, he took one of his hands off hers and wrapped it around her back, pulling her close. She rested her head on his shoulder as he rubbed her arm soothingly.

"Doesn't he know?" Randhir asked. here for the first time he behaves as a matured & understanding person, not an impulsive & egoistic one...ya i know after seeing shraddha he behaved as a matured & understanding person but he was a father there...a father who abandoned her daughter as he believed she was not his daughter...then when he came to know about the truth he repented for his doings, his longing for his daughter, his guilt for not believing her as his daughter actually made him a matured person...but here for the first time he behaves as a mature lover to sanyukta despite her being concerned about parth's hurt...may be for the first time he has realised when he should be there for sanyukta & shraddha, he was not there...but parth was there.

"I - I can't lose -" she whispered weakly, trying to remember why she was here, but her words were vacant of emotion now, almost as if she was struggling to remember the reason. "- you. I can't lose you."

"I love you," he whispered, and she could feel his breath on her lips.

"I love you too," she told him, her voice barely audible, her eyes closing.

Then before he could close the gap between their lips, she had placed one hand on the nape of his neck, the other one on his back, and had crashed her lips against his hungrily, trying to feel all that she had missed in the last five years. this part is heart wrenching...how much she tried to hate randhir she couldn't, she can't, she won't...at last she tells him that she can't lose him... whao take a bow...the way u describe their inner turmoil, the heartening feelings of the two broken souls hats off to u👏👏👏...i thoroughly enjoyed this.
