🤗"That wasn't the chain of thought he'd wanted to latch on to - at least
not in this temple. He was here to convey his gratitude - that was what
temples were for. Isn't that what Maa used to say?Temples were not for
prayers - but a place to think back on all your blessings and be grateful
for them..."
This is the line that struck me the most ... normally we humans are just wanting
things from God ... we forget to thank God for all that he has given us ... a beautiful
life ... loved ones ... all the comforts we could ask for ... and all we do is pray to gain
more from Him ...
This was a beautiful journey through Kanyakumari ... felt I was on that bike enjoying
the fresh ocean breeze and the earthy scent ...
The temple visit was awesome ... by looking into the Dieties eyes Arnav seemed to have
connected with his own mother ... for the first time I felt that he was at peace with
himself ...
Haven't been to KK but visualized the temple scene exactly from the movie "Chennai Express"
Read this on Wikipedia and wanted to share ... it is what the Devi declared ...
"I am Manifest Divinity, Unmanifest Divinity, and Transcendent Divinity. I am Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, as well as Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. I am the Sun and I am the Stars, and I am also the Moon. I am all animals and birds, and I am the outcaste as well, and the thief. I am the low person of dreadful deeds, and the great person of excellent deeds. I am Female, I am Male" I loved the way every little thing Arnav does reminds him of Khushi ...
both of them seem to be in the self discovery stage ...
Envied Arnav the yum filter coffee and the idlies ...
Thanks Twiggy ... 🤗
