Abhiraj goes into his Office and Rishima follows him. He sits and lean on his chair. He looks at Rishima quitely for few minutes.rishima was just standing without looking at him. He didn't even ask her to sit. His gaze was making her feel awkward and uncomfortable. Finally he spoke..

Abhiraj: do you have any problem with me dr. Sharma?

Rishima looks at him and frowns.

Rishima: excuse me? Why would I have any problem with you? I don't even know you. You are my boss. I don't know what makes you think that I have a problem with you.

Abhiraj: don't lie Dr. Sharma..i heard everything. I heard what you said to your friends. See if there is any problem then you can tell me coz your behaviour towards me is pissing me off..

Rishima smirks to herself and murmers.

Rishima: its only a beginning..

Abhiraj: what? Did you say anything?

Rishima: no nothing..i think we should discuss about the case coz that's more important.

Abhiraj: sure..what do you got?

Rishima: the victim was first strangled and then stabbed. Thats all I know for now and what about you?

Abhiraj: the woman's name is Meena Gupta,age 26,unmarried..was living with her mother and brother. They are called here for further interrogation. She thinks

Rishima: huh!! He can never take tarun's place. He was way better than him.

Rishima: alright you do your work and i'll do mine..

Abhiraj: fair enough. You can go now and I hope you will stop being sarcastic towards me.

She rolled her eyes and left from there. She was heading back towards the lab when mili,dev and champ came together.

Dev: he seems like a nice guy. We worked for few hours together and we get along really well. He is very cooperative.

Rishima: so now you all are praising him. Fine..but don't expect me to praise him. My tarun was far better than him. He can never take his place. Mark my words.

Mili: Rishima..enough..stop comparing him with tarun...first of all he is not here as tarun's replacement and secondly everyone has their own style of working so why don't you just give him a chance and stop being personal.

Rishima: look..i,don't care what he does..i don't care about him at all. If you guys like him then I don't have any problem but don't expect the same from me. If I am working with him its only because Raman told me to and I can't say no to him.

Champ: sorry to interrupt but anyone else is starving here coz I am dead hungry.

Rishima: oh yeah me too.i didn't even had breakfast in the morning.

Dev: so lets go to our favourite restaurant..what say?

everyone nods in yes.

At night

Abhiraj was working in his office and Rishima was in the laboratory examining the body. Champ was with her.

Rishima: champ..its late you can go now..i'll do rest of the work.

Champ: ok Dr. Rishima. Good night.

Champ left. Mili and dev left a long back. At 2:00am she goes to her office to see some documents when she saw abhi working. She reminices how tarun used to work late at night along with her and sometimes they became lovey dovey while working. She takes some documents and goes back in her lab.

An hour later

While examing the body she found ripped skin in her fingernails. She decided to go back at the crime scene to check again. The documents she brought contains the details of victims family's and the person who are suspects in,the case. She yawns while going through the papers and soon fell asleep resting her head on the table. Abhi was going back to his home. He was passing by through the lab and saw Rishima sleeping on the desk. He becomes surprised to see her working so late. He wanted to go,inside, he even steps towards the lab but stops..

Abhiraj: why do I care if she is working late at night? She may not like if I wake her up.

He left from there giving her a stern and strict gaze.

In the morning.

Mili was the first one to come. She saw Rishima sleeping. She didn't get surprised or shocked coz she knew rishima works late at night and she saw her sleeping like this many times. She goes and gently strokes rishima's head and she got up.

Mili: babes..why don't you go home? You have been here all night..

Rishima: no I am fine..i have found something. I have found some human skin in victims fingernails. That shows she struggled while she was getting strangled. We'll get the dna from this.

Mili: thats great news sweety. This will help us to catch the killer.

Rishima: I am going back to victim's house to see if I can find something else.

Mili: but don't you think you should get some sleep first and I think you should inform abhi also.

Rishima: I don't need sleep, I am fine and I am not gonna report him every single detail. If i'll find something useful for him I'll tell him. Tell champ to find the DNA from this.

Mili: as you wish rishu..

Rishima left from there for victim's house. She was going through some papers and walking towards parking lot. Abhi was coming she didn't saw him neither he did coz he was on a call. Rishima bumped into him. She was about to fall but abhi catches her in time. The papers which she was going through fell on the ground. She immediately back off and yells at him.

Rishima: what the hell? You could atleast see while you walk. Look what you have done.

Abhiraj: excuse me? It wasn't my fault. You were also not watching.

She closed her eyes in frustration. She really didn't want to fight with him. She already had him enough.on the other hand Rishima was trying abhi's patience.her rude and harsh attitude was getting on his nerves.

Rishima: you know I really don't have time to talk to you right now.

Abhi looks at her carefully and noticed that she was wearing the same clothes which she was wearing last night. Her eyes were puffy and she looked tired.

Abhiraj: you were here all night?

Rishima: yes I was..and now if you'll excuse me I have some important work to do.

Abhiraj: you should get some rest. I mean you were awake whole night.so...

Rishima: I am fine..thankyou for your concern.

She again gives a sarcastic comment. He narrowes his eyes.

Abhiraj: oh no no..don't you do that again.,you know I could fire you for misbehaving with me..

Rishima: be my guest.,you are free to fire me. I am not afraid of you or getting fired.

She gives him a cold look and drive away in her car leaving a miffed and very angry Abhiraj behind.

She reaches victim's house. She directly goes into the backyard where she found blood traces. She takes a closer look and found some more blood on the wall. Which was attached to the house next to victim's house. Her cell rings and she saw "boss" calling. She makes a face and recieves.

Rishima: yes sir...

Abhiraj: Dr. Sharma where are you? I want you here right now.

Rishima: I am sorry sir but I can't come. I am at victim's house. I got some new clues.

Abhiraj: you have gone there without informing your boss or without taking my permission.

Rishima: look..no one interferes in my work coz everyone knows I am always right and I always do the right thing.

Abhiraj: well I am into those " everyone" so you better come back here coz its very important and thats an order.don't make me say that again.

He hangs the call. Rishima fumes in anger. She left the house. She calls Raman..

Rishima: I wanna talk to you right now..its important..

Raman: you sound angry. Is everything alright?

Rishima: just tell me if you can meet me or not.

Raman: well today is your lucky day,,I am at the bureau.

She hangs up the call. She goes back to bureau as fast as she can. Abhiraj was standing near her office crossing his arms over his chest. Rishima ignored him completely and goes straight towards Raman's office. Abhiraj follows her. She storms into his office.

Rishima: thats it..i am not working with him ever and thats final.what does he think of himself? You never stopped me from doing my work but he..he is so bossy..he thinks everyone will work according to him. Fire him or me coz I am not working with that man again.

She said all this in one breath. Raman smirks and says.

Raman: feeling better?

Rishima: I am serious.you told me to give him a chance I gave him a chance.

Abhiraj was standing outside and heard everything she said.he also gets angry and goes inside.

Abhiraj: not only you even I don't want to work with a mean,arrogant woman.

Rishima: what? What did you just said? I am mean and arrogant..look at yourself mister..you are the one who are making things difficult for everyone.

They start fighting accusing each other. Raman was watching them leaning back on his chair and with a big smile on his face.

Rishima: you are so bossy..

Abhiraj: that because i am your boss.

Rishima: arrogant

Abhiraj: rude

Rishima: mean

Abhiraj: short tempered

Rishima: that's it..

Abhiraj: enough..

"I am not working with him/her anymore". Both said together and looks at each other angrily and disgustingly.

Raman: ok..i heard you two and your issues related to each other but its been only 24 since you two are working together so I think you two should give each other one more try and besides I think you two should some more time together to understand each other's way of working..that's why..

Rishima and Abhiraj looks at him.

Raman: from now you two will work as partners. I now declare you partner and partner..

Rishima and Rishima looks at him in shock.
