Chapter 6: The silence before the arrival of storm

They were just lost. Lost in their land, SanDhir land. They were in the same position for a long time, when Parth coughed. They got conscious of their position and Sanyukta got up and they stood straight. Jiggy, Kausy and Parth were grinning from ear to ear. There was an awkward silence, when Kausy came in front and forwarded her hand towards Sanyukta for a hand shake.

Kausy: Hi! I'm Kaustuki Sherpa. You can call me Kausy.

Sanyukta shook hands with her. Meanwhile Jiggy and Parth were giving teasing looks to Randhir and Randhir in return was shooting deadly glares in their direction.

Sanyukta: (To Kaustuki) Hi, I am Sanyukta Shridhar.

Consecutively Jiggy shook hands with Sanyukta. Randhir came forward,

Randhir: Hey, I am Randhir Singh Shekhawat.

Sanyukta: Hello. Nice meeting you all. (To Parth) Parth, are they your friends? I suppose you'd once mentioned about them, but I don't remember properly.

Parth: Yeah they are my friends, but uncle has called them here.

Sanyukta: Dad??? But why? He didn't inform anyone among us about this. Did he tell you about this?

Parth: No.

Sanyu: May I ask you why dad has called you here?

Kausy: Hey guys! Just chill. Lets go inside. You will come to know there.

Sanyukta was curious and she tried to ponder more into the stuff but none of the three told anything; nor to her neither to Parth. Both Sanyukta and Parth were getting restless to know. They introduced themselves formally and were heading towards the house. Sanyukta came to know that they are psychiatrists. She had never seen a psychiatrist and she was now seeing three of them together. She was much exited.

Swamiji had already arrived at the Shridhar Niwas. He was talking on some issue with Ramanujan. All of them entered the living room. Randhir went and hugged Swamiji. To say that Sanyukta and Parth were shocked would be an understatement. They couldn't believe their eyes. Randhir, being a psychiatrist and psychologist was hugging a Swami. Sanyukta too didn't like Swamiji much as her brother and sister would fight with their parents due to him.

Swamiji: It's been a long time meeting you Randhir. I am delighted to see you become successful in life. You talk with mister Ramanujan. I have to leave for an important work.

Randhir smiled at Swamiji and Swamiji left for his work. Randhir then introduced himself, jiggy and Kausy to Ramanujan.

Ramanujan: Hello everyone. You all please take a seat. So as you know about the tensions going on in the house, we suspect that it is the work of some ghost.

Sanyukta and Parth were surprised at his words. They never thought that Ramanujan may believe in ghosts.

Randhir: But sir. I seriously don't believe in such stuff. You may please narrate all the incidents to me.

Parth yawned and made an action indicating that this is going to be a boring discussion and so he and Sanyukta should leave. Sanyukta understood and nodded in agreement.

The boring conversation of the happenings in the house continued and Parth and Sanyukta quietly left.

ON THE STEPS

Parth: Sanyukta you move ahead, I will catch up soon. Umm... Where is Vidhushi?

Sanyukta: No need to catch up. You may stay with your girlfriend as long as you want. She's on the terrace.

Parth mouthed a thank you and they parted their ways where Parth went towards the terrace and he and Vidhushi were having mushy mushy talks.

Meanwhile Sanyukta was moving towards her room. She was walking through gallery when she felt a shadow bypass her. She got alert and looked here and there. She was initially frightened but as she saw nothing around she started walking again. Someone slightly tapped at her shoulder from the back. She was hell scared now. Sweat beads were glistening over her forehead. She gathered all her courage and turned back to see who it is, but she was petrified as there was no one present. She turned around and looked everywhere but there was no sign of anyone. She thought she was thinking too much and she went to her room to take a small nap as she wanted to refresh her mind.

Down there Ramanujan had finished narrating all the episodes that took place at his house. Randhir, Kausy and jiggy were carefully listening to the narrative. They also noted down some important points.

Randhir: (After listening to everything) We will try find out about the happenings. We may need to carry some tests on some people if the case gets worst. You know sometimes a person can get mental attacks and he/she may do this unknowingly. This might be a reason. And about the rest matters, Kausy is a good detective. She will try to find some clues.

Ramanujan: Ok, beta. You rest now. Come I will show you your rooms.

He guided them to their rooms and they decided to start the work from the next day and take rest right now.

SOMWHERE

A boy and a girl were talking on something and the boy looked hell shocked when the girl said something.

Boy: What??? How will I do that? Are you crazy?

Girl: You will have to do it. There is no other option. Or else you know what I can do.

Boy: You can not emotionally blackmail me.

Girl: This is not called emotional blackmail you fool. This is called an order and you are supposed to follow it. Get that.

The boy started thinking of all the possible reasons to make her realize that her so called demand was totally wrong. But the girl was no ready to listen at all. The boy shook his head in frustration.

AN: Hi guys. How was the chapter. Don't say it was small. Ok guys, my semesters are starting from 31^st, so I need to study. I really can not give regular updates but I will try and update whenever I find time.
