Slipdisk's meeting with Harry had ensured that if the Goblins chose sides, they would side with Harry.

What was worrying Harry and Tom most was that Porch had not returned yet nor had any news come from his side. He had left for nearly a month now and only once they had received a note from him explaining that the giant tribe they had been visiting had accepted them and their gifts well and they hadn't had any trouble settling with them. But since then nothing whatsoever had come from their side.

Harry had had another meeting with the representatives of the house elves from the ministry who had called for a house elf from the Kitchens to evaluate whether their kind was being treated fairly. Unfortunately for them, Winky had opted to come and the representatives weren't exactly happy to see her. Nonetheless, they promised that they would not side with the likes of Voldemort.

Tom, on the other hand, had more on his mind than work. He knew how hard things were going. He had himself been caught in a very tough schedule with both DADA and Care of Magical Creatures. For him, the season of love was arriving as Feb 14 neared. The Hogwarts castle could be seen glowing by the blushes of girls and scarlet ears of boys. The very day was quite important for Tom. He had planned a beautiful dinner with Estella down in the dungeons and Peeves was supposed to help him, but he had business of his own. After all, what could be more important than pulling carpets from under the feet of the first years?

Tom had decided to do some decorations in the morning during breakfast and the rest during break but since Peeves had been a no show he decided to cover them in break. He was getting late for his first class of the day. He spent the first half of the day in a little peace as all his classes today were of DADA, only one class before break was Care of Magical Creatures and that was his favourite.

As per Porch's schedule this class was the second his students would be spending with hippogriffs. Those who had not yet acquainted themselves with these beautiful creatures yet would have the chance to do so today.

Porch had warned him before leaving to take utmost care when dealing with a hippogriff. Tom had no trouble understanding that, he was usually careful and humble enough to gain the respect of a hippogriff but he was worried if students didn't pay attention to his advice. Thankfully, though, his lesson passed without any accident.

He had only just sent his class back to the castle and was taking the hippogriff (Sharpeye) back to his dwelling in the forest when he heard someone running toward him. He turned around to see who it was. It was a seventh year girl, Gwen Goverbob.

Thanks 😊 They're laughing because Tom had been utterly oblivious of the fact how hypersensitive goblins are. 😛 And because he had made Slipdisk real angry when he had actually been trying to be polite to him 😛😃

Thanks 😊 N well, Dory isn't Tom's past. She just likes him, she has a crush on him and he doesn't feel that way for her. He has known it for a while now but he chooses to ignore it which is all that he can do being in a position that he is.

To everyone, I am extremely sorry for late updates. I have just taken a job and it's taking all my time. I request all of you to bear with me on this and check back every sunday for long updates, because that's the only day I get to sit down and write properly 😛 If I get a chance, I'll post in one of the week days too.
