CHAPTER- 6B

She clutched the saree and brought it close to herself, hugging it. She came to the window side and began to speak to herself...

" You know, Randhir, Adi was asking if I had ever broken rules. Can you believe it? Me and rules?" She laughed but soon the smile got replaced by tears.

"Do you remember anything Randhir? Do u still remember our moments? Do u still remember the night before our marriage?" she went on...

FLASHBACK:

"Hey bahgwaan...this girl!!! She is crossing limits now. It has been more than half an hour now, I'm waiting for her and that also at the middle of the night infront of my saansuraal ;)...", he brewed in anger, sitting in his blue Mercedes, waiting for his ladylove in the night eve of their marriage.

"Enough is enough now. Neither I can see her coming nor is she taking up my calls," complained Randhir.

"Oh shit! After calling me up, kahin woh so to nahin gayi?" Rd was shocked. If something like this has happened, he was gonna kill Sanyukta for sure. But then whom would he marry tmrw? But Sanyukta had to get punished no? But shaadi? Uff...this is so complicated...

"I've to climb her window again. Kya kya karwaegi yeh ladki mujhse..."

He was going to unlock his door when the other front door opened and Sanyukta came in, wrapped up in a shawl with all her face covered up.

Randhir was shocked.

"You are my Sanyu only no?" he joked.

And in reply, Sanyukta removed her shawl from her face and shot him a stern look. Here, after so much struggle, she came to him all dressed up ( hey stop stop yeh shawl wala dress up nehi hai, ek surprise hai aage pado samajh ajayega...sorry for disturbance...chalo pado pado...) and all and he was making fun of him. Ridiculous.

"Just back off...", she barked.

He burst into laughter holding his stomach tightly.

"Yeh...yeh kya huliya bana rakha hai apna tumne?" he asked trying hard to control his laughter.

But soon his laughs got subsided as the shawl was removed by Sanyukta.

He was awestruck by the beauty before his eyes. There Sanyu was, draped in a beautiful black sari, with her hair open on her shoulders and beautiful earrings adding to her elegancy

"Yeh kya expression bana rakha hai apna, my dear hubby," She snapped her fingers before him and smirked.

"You are...are gorgeous, beautiful...", he remarked falling short of words.

Sanyukta blushed.

"Thanks sweetheart. That's wh I got late. Actually I bought this beautiful sari to wear in the marriage rituals. But Ma told that I won't be wearing anything black in the days of my marriage. So I thought to wear it now," clarified Sanyu.

"Ok, madam. But what's with this long drive at the middle of the night?" Rd glanced at his watch, which showed 1 am.

"Woh kya hai na, I won't be meeting you tmrw. Rules, you know. So thought to enjoy now," she winked at him and he chuckled.

"Why do we break so many rules, Sanyu?"

"Bcuz rules are not our cup of tea, sweetheart", pointed out Sanyu.

And they burst into laughter.

"Ab chale?" She pulled his arm.

"Jana to padega phir lautna bhi to hai. Kal meri shadi jo hai," he chuckled.

"Haan, haan. Meri to kuch aur hi hai," she joked.

"Ofcourse. Aur bhi bohot kuch hai kal, you know. Kal raat humara...", he continued and started the car.

Sanyukta turned red.

"Rd, baakwaas bandh karo aapni aur chalo..."

"Arey aur bhi hai, suno na...," the car drove off.

"Rd stop it..."

"But darling, suno to sahi..."

END OF FLASHBACK

A faint smile was playing on her lips as she remembered those magical days of her life with him but happiness? Was she happy? Never. How can she be happy without him? Her each smile is his and only his.

"Where are you Rd? Kahan ho tum? Will we ever meet again? Will I ever see you again? Will I ever feel you again? Why God? Why only me? Why does it always happen to me? The person whom I love, I can never meet again. But what about this silly heart? Is dil ka kya karun, bhagwanji? Aur nehi hota mujhse...I'm tired now...I'm tired of this pain...I'm broken...Can you hear me, God?" Tears were overflowing her eyes now.

She cried thinking none is listening to her cries. But she was wrong. He was listening. This time, He had to listen.

Destiny was again playing a trick. A trick, which would change many lives, many hopes, many LOVES...
