Before I update friends let me remind u that its a story based on the our so called modern society...the characters are pure frictional and our adorable Taarey and Swaron...and being a Taarey fan and do like Swaron too end mai it will always be Taarey and Swaron but before that I would like to show u the reality of Indian society hidden in our so called modernazation...

Chapter-4
When Reality Strikes...

Taani and Rey

"Bhaiya, so how was everything?" asked Taani

"Fine Taans, They were so sweet , we totally liked the way they received us , you will definitely feel at home , you know what Rey has been calling me continuously to know our whereabouts , they are so simple and sweet"

"Oh..." Taani has no words on what to say, she was happy but something is lingering in her sub conscious memory which is pulling her back from her complete happiness, not letting her to enjoy her moment of happiness!

Taani's parents left to meet the priest to discuss about the possible dates for their engagement, the priest upon seeing their astrology, has decided upon a date and informed the same to her parents.

Taani's dad upon noting the date called to Rey's Father to inform the same.
"Hello" Rey's Dad answered the call.

"Hello ji"

"I have called to inform you that we have consulted the priest and he told that next month 4th is good for engagement, so what do you think"

"Oh..." there was a type of frigidity in his voice, Taani's dad sensed that and asked him "Is it ok with you?"

"Rey is still in dilemma about marriage ji , that is what I'm thinking about"

"Do you mean he is not interested in marriage?"

"No not like that, he is asking for some time"

Taani's dad was speechless, after going through all this procedures, now they are talking like this? What happened?

"I will get back to you again" Rey's father told this and disconnected the call.

As soon as he disconnected the call, the one who showed this match ie negotiated the marriage called Taani's dad and told

"They are expecting a dowry of 40 lakhs and a lot goes along with this." Told the match maker and he continued "are you ready for this?"

Taani's dad was thrown off guard. What is this person saying? Is it real? Rey's father told him that Rey was not ready and he is saying like this, what is true? What happened? There are many questions running in his mind, trying to get possible reasons, but he couldn't get any.

Sharon and Swayam

Swayam has been trying to convince his dad about them, but his dad wasn't accepting them, he couldn't understand the reason why his dad is denying for their marriage, may be caste is the main reason, but even in today's day why is he thinking about caste and all, it's frustrating him, on the other hand he needs to answer Sharon and her family. Sharon has been constantly asking him about his parent's reaction and what will be the consequences, but he failed to answer her.

In the meanwhile, she received a call from Swayams sister, actually Swayam has no siblings but he considered his senior from college as his best friend and as a sister.
Sharon was surprised to get a call from her

"Hello di , How are you"

"Hi Shar, I'm fine , are you free now , I need to talk with you"

"yes di , im free"

"Hey what are you guys up to Shar?"

"Di...What do you mean?"

"Do you love each other?"

"Yes di"

"Then get married first, later on you can think about parents acceptance"

"Di.." she was surprised
"Sharon , Swayam's parents are not accepting to your marriage , you cannot leave each other , so better you get married , and later things will be ok"

"Di.. am sorry to say like this , but I am not interested in such type of thing , not only me even Swayam"

"Then no one can help you Shar"she continued, "even he is not ready to do this, and you are not ready, only God can help you people, Bye Shar"

Sharon was staring at her mobile in surprise; she was not able to digest the words told by her, Tears found its way out from her eyes!

Taani and Rey

Taani couldn't digest the news, her beautiful world has been shattered and is being collapsed in front of her, and she couldn't digest in what has happened, she never thought that this will happen, she was strong enough not to burst out in front of her parents, because her already devastated parents couldn't take in anymore, so she tried her best to conceal her emotions before them. She thought why will Rey do like this? Really do they need money or Rey is not interested, she was like what was their reason to back off? Why did they do this?

Everyone was disappointed at the sudden change of situations, it's becoming hard to diminish the pain and come back to reality, in this society whatever maybe the reason, whoever might be responsible, but the sole person who suffers a lot is the girl who undergoes such a situation, and her parents.

When everything is falling into pieces, everything has been overturned.

Taani and her parents are trying to reveal themselves of this stress and pressure but there are relatives who are there to butt in and disturb them over and over on the same issues.

Finally, it's time for Taani to decide upon her marriage or career.

She has gone to her mother to tell her decision,

"Maa.." she called her calmly

"Ha Taani" she turned towards her...

"Maa , I want to continue with my studies , please now don't bring in any marriage proposal , what has happened , has happened . I don't want to waste my life on this stupid thing anymore, please"

"Marriage is inevitable in anyone's life Taani , you cannot escape it , if not now some other day you need to get married , because something bad happened now , you cannot run away from the reality"

"But, I need some time for myself Maa... I'm not running away from marriage, I want to settle in my career first, after that a person who can accept me as I am will enter into my life, but not now, please, I don't want to be at mercy of others."

"Taani, we need to talk this with your dad, I cannot tell you anything"

"Mom, I will talk with dad, there is no problem, sis you do what you feel like, don't worry" interrupted her brother, who has been listening to their conversation.

Let her be INDEPENDENT first" he stressed more on the word independent, to let her mom understand the importance of her career and he continued "Mom it's not about her career, it's about fighting with life , she has been so depressed with such a small issue , how can she have the courage to face it in the future in a stranger's house , I will convince dad , there is nothing wrong in it , she can complete her PG in two years or do a job as her wish , In the meanwhile let us search for the correct person for her. This is Life and there is nothing to hurry, Right things Happen when the time comes".

There is a lot of difference on being independent and being arrogant. Every girl should be independent enough to stand on her own and also humble enough to respect her family and their values

Sharon and Swayam

After the call from Swayam's di, Sharon has understood the reality and asked Swayam for them to get married first with her parent's blessings and later on they can convince his parents, but Swayam was completely against that, he was not at all accepting that.

"Sharon, I'm their only son, doing like that might break their heart, I cannot do that"

"So you can break my heart?"

"I never told I will leave you Sharon"

"Do you think my parents will wait, we are running short of time Swayam Don't you understand that?"

"I do understand but please give me some time"

"How much time you need Swayam, I don't understand? At least you don't even try to talk with my Mother. How can they believe us? And you have been avoiding my Brother's call, what do they think? Do you think they will believe us?"

"I don't have any words to answer him Sharon, which is the reason I have been avoiding him"

"Avoiding doesn't give any solution, so please do something Swayam, before my dad gets frustrated and does something and he is already on the verge of searching for matches"

"I will do something, Please be patient"

"Well, you continue to be like this until I get married to someone" she stormed away from that place without hearing on what Swayam has to say.
