Chapter-5 Confessions and Promises

His expressions changed in hearing her name. He stood up which made Renuka confused.

Renuka- What happened?

Randhir- Nothing mom, I need to go to the party. You go back home, I will meet you soon.

Renuka started moving when suddenly Randhir called her, she turned back with a question mark on her face. He replied calmly, "I love you", she smiled at him assuring with her eyes that she loved him even more. And they went back to their places.

In Party

Sanyukta was hell tensed as what had happened there, she wanted to go with Randhir but PKC has told her to see the arrangements. She was pacing from one corner to another and was sweating profusely inspite of the AC. Suddenly Randhir came and grabbed her wrist and pulled her to one corner. She was frightened. Randhir in angry tone asked, "What do you think of yourself?"

She was really scared and started stammering, "Randhir, ple...ease lis..ten to me..", "I treat you so badly, then also you are always ready to do good for me, why?" he spat back. Sanyukta replied, "its not like that.." but stopped in middle realising what Randhir said just now. She looked at him in state of confusion and Randhir smiled looking at her.

Randhir asked politely, "You came to my roon yesterday?" sanyukta was shocked as how he came to know that. She asked softly, "how do you know". Randhir laughed looking at her face. "Such a bimbo you are, I still don't understand how you got admission in FITE", he mocked for which she rolled her eyes. "No one else can take the risk to enter Randhir's territory" he replied proudly. And she laughed at that. Something strikes Sanyukta's mind and she smiled, "By the way, I didn't know you take such good photographs, and talking about love and all? She teased him and he started looking here and there. "So what? And don't you have manners, how can you see someone's personal stuff. Oh! To whom am I talking about manners, the one who was staring at me an hour ago as if she would pounce on me any moment?

Now it was time for Randhir to tease and Sanyukta to blush. He asked huskily, "Am I looking so hot?" "In your dreams", she retorted back. Randhir started laughing much to Sanyukta's annoyance. "And where did you sell your manners when you were hacking my account", she mocked. And Randhir's expressions changed which didn't go unnoticed by Sanyukta. He asked softly, "you saw that mail?" she nodded her head in a yes. He kept looking down and muttered a sorry, much audible to Sanyukta. She felt bad and tried change the topic. "OMG, so Mr Randhir Singh Sekhawat is sorry for hacking my account. I don't believe this. "Not for that, for my dad's words, I didn't know someday I had to see this face of his. I will never forgive for what he did to my mom and then threatening you. She cupped his face with her hands and made him look at her. "It's ok Randhir, you don't have to be sorry. Let's forget everything, it's a big day for you, so be happy. Randhir smiled at her and suddenly started smirking. "So, farzi you didn't tell me, why were you checking me out? Pyaar ho gya kya mujhse?" Her cheeks turned into crimson red but being Sanyukta, she had to reply back. "First, you tell me, why you have written those things. Have you fallen so badly for me?" she mocked too. She folded her hands in her chest and tried smirking like him. "In your dreams farzi", he retorted back. "Such a MCP you are, you never going to admit that you love me?"She demanded. She started going from there, when suddenly Randhir hold her hand.

"Am not a nice guy, I won't be able to make you happy. I am an egoistic, arrogant jerk. People have never been happy around me. I can live with your hatred all my life. But I can't see you hurt everyday because of me", he said in one breathe. She was touched by his words.

"Randhir, I know it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you, I want all of you, forever you and me every day" she tried make him understood. He kept looking in his feet; this made Sanyukta feel again dejected. She knew he loved her, but the pain that he won't express his love was killing her from inside. She didn't want to get weak at that time, so she moved from there.

After few seconds, Randhir shouted her name; she was shocked when she turned back.

"If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then would you realise how special you are to me" he bent on his knees, Sanyukta gasped in shock. And he smiled looking at her.

"I am not the perfect guy you deserve, but I promise to make you feel perfect all the time you spend with me. From this moment on, you are everything to me, every time I used the word love, it will be for you, every time I dedicate a song, and it will be for you. Every time I hold a hand, it will be yours. Every time I would yearn to hear a voice, it will be yours. I am yours for life" he propsed her, in a way that no one would imagine Randhir Singh Sekhawat to do.

Tears had started falling from her eyes. She never thought in her wild dreams that Randhir would say such things. Randhir saw tears in her eyes. "See, this the reason, I wasn't confessing", he said. He started going from there, but she stopped him. "I am not crying, you fool! And I love you too", she said with a big smile. "But I never told I love you to you", saying that he winked. Sanyukta's mouth turned into a perfect O. "I know I am irresistible, and you would be the first one saying it. "You know what, I hate you MCP", she retorted. "I hate you too farzi", he replied back. And he pulled her closer for a kiss. She was shocked by his gesture first, but later on she too gave in. It was simple kiss assuring each other they would beside each other at every phase of life.

They broke their kiss due to a loud voice from behind. The whole 4th year was standing there, they shouted, "We love you both MCP and Farzi". They both were blushing like hell. Kaustuki came and hugged her. "Mind going on a date with me, Agarwal?" he whispered in her ear. "But where?" she murmured. Holding hands they went to the terrace, sitting in the floor looking at the sky. They fought for a zillion times, but the best part was they were still together.

"It's not about finding someone who won't fight with you or make you sad. It's about finding the person who will still be standing there wiping your tears away. Holding you in their arms after a fight and the one who will never leave, no matter how hard things get."
