Chapter 1 Unfaithful Love
Sanyukta was getting ready in her dorm as an evil smirk was playing in her face. She surely had some plan in her head for her MCP...!!
This was their 3rd year in the college, she doesn't know how, but somehow his father had given her permission to complete her engineering. That also meant that her engagement with that annoying Sameer was broken, much to her happiness!
For a change she wore earrings today, left her hair open with curls at the end, just as her MCP likes. She went through the corridor leaving behind the useless guys ogling at her, straightaway to the canteen just to fire her plan. But little did she knew that her plan was going to be backfired. She went and sat in the nearby seat of Randhir, and started coughing to gain attention. But Mr.MCP wasn't present their mentally. She kept on doing weird things to draw his attention, but except him everyone was giving attention to her. After half an hour of stupidity, nothing seemed to work, she lost her cool and straightaway went to him and shouted, "Effing hell, what is your problem...why is you ignoring me, bloody MCP? First of all, Randhir didn't understood what she was talking about, then he remembered their last encounter yesterday. Randhir was ignoring Sanyukta for more than three days, and Sanyukta wouldn't take it. They had a heated argument yesterday which ended with Sanyukta giving challenge that he can't ignore her anymore. Randhir didn't take it seriously, but now he was hell angry at her. He grabbed her from her hand and pinned her to the nearby wall.
Randhir- I told you to stay away from me, didn't I?
Sanyukta- But why Randhir?
Randhir- Can't you understand, I don't want you near me. I didn't know you were such a despo, just because your engagement had been broken, you are being so clingy!
He was about to say something more but then he noticed tears brimming in her eyes. He understood the blunder had been done. He had to say those things but he meant none of them. He went from there as fast as his legs would take him, but the guilt in his heart has come out in form of tears. And he knew he can find peace only after meeting his punching bag!
FLASHBACK (3 days back)
Randhir- Hie! Dad, how are you?
Dad- M fine my son, you seem so happy, what's the matter?
Randhir- No dad, nothing like that.
Dad- So, you have started lying now? C'mon tell me what happened?
Randhir- who...umm...Dad actually I have fallen in love with a girl.
His dad's expression changed, still keeping his calm. He talked.
Dad- Who is she? Randhir- umm...Sanyukta
He smilingly ruffled his hair, not knowing what was going to come next. His dad was fuming in anger, he shouted.
Dad- Have you gone crazy? That girl doesn't deserve my son. You are the best Randhir, how can you like her. Besides, she is nothing more than a manipulating girl. She is taking advantage of you, and you like a fool are falling in her trap.
Randhir- No dad, she isn't like that, she is very nice, and she cares for everyone. You are misunderstanding her.
Dad- See, what black magic had she done on you, you are arguing with your dad. I had taken so much care of you when your mother left you, and you are talking against me. Promise me, you won't talk to her any more.
Randhir- Dad, please don't do this.
He cried saying that, but his dad was in no mood to hear his son's plea.
Dad- I said promise me, or else the consequences will be really harsh for that girl.
Randhir was shocked hearing those words; he never thought that his dad would stoop so low.
Randhir- Fine dad, I won't talk to her, but please don't do anything to her. I m sorry but I can't talk to you anymore, first I lost my mother for her carefree attitude, now it's you...who too don't bother about my happiness.
Dad- Randhir listen to me, what I m doing is..
Randhir- No dad, no more lies, it was not me for whom you lived, it was always your ego, which was more important. Your fight with Renuka Sanyal was more important than me. Now I just want to be alone, this fake concern and all is not needed anymore. Bye!
He disconnected the call without letting his dad say anything.
PRESENT
He sat on the floor, hugging his knees as he remembered his last conversation with his dad. His vulnerability, his insecurities and his lonliness all was eating him from inside, destroying him in pieces. All he needed was someone, who would love him without any intentions. He always wondered about "Unconditional Love", does that existed in this mean world.
Meanwhile, in the canteen, Sanyukta was crying. She didn't know what was hurting her more, Randhir's ignorance or his mean words. But she had heard more mean words from him, but why was she feeling bad now. She felt as if her heart would sink anytime. She took her bag and went back to her room. She threw her bag in the table, managed her hair in a loose bun and quietly lay down in the bed, thinking about all those silly fights with Randhir, their closeness, their hug. Suddenly a small smile came in her face, she felt light and happy, but still the reasons were unknown to her.
"And there slept two souls away from each other. One was happy for those new growing feelings and another was sad and wanted to bury all his feelings...!!"
Precap- It was totally dark, but she could sense that the whole room was shattered, she was afraid to see the condition of room through the moonlight. Then she saw Randhir in one corner of the room and a lone tear escaped from her eyes.
