The Dinner was such a flop because of the ignorance he showed towards every little preparation she made for him tonight. She couldnt believe he didnt even praise her for the red saree she wore. That was strange. Was he doing this purposely? If so then she will have a hard time in making him know that she wishes to start their relationship in true way. She changed back to her night dress and rested on the bed. He was lying down too but as usual was checking some files keeping the dim table lamp on of his side. She waited for him to speak something about today what she did for him but it never happened. She was feeling upset now . Was it her fault that she needed time in judging him and their relationship? The questions inside her didnt let her sleep peacefully. She thought of confronting.

Khushi: Arnav are you punishing me?

Arnav closed his file and looked at her.

Arnav: Punishing? Why will I punish you Khushi? Itni acchi biwi ko koi punish nahi karta. (No one punishes such a nice wife)

Khushi sat on the bed opposite to him.

Khushi: If I am so nice why are you not behaving nicely ? Do you realise what all I did for you ?

Arnav placed the file at the side table.

Arnav: Yes I do realise . I know you took much efforts in making this Dinner special for us. Infact it was very special to me. I never thought the poolside could be used for such candle light dinner occassionally . Guess we should try it more often. But next time I will plan it for us.

Khushi : And ?Thats all you felt? Nothing else?

Arnav: Ahh . Ohh Yes. The Saree. I can never stop thinking what looks better ? The Red Saree on you or you in the Red Saree. Dont you think these days you have started wearing red a lot? Apna Favourite colour change kar diya kya? (Did you change your favourite colour to red? )

Khushi was getting irritated seeing him beating the bush and concluding anything.

Khushi: Aur kya Arnav? Thats all you have to say? Thats all you have to do?

Arnav: I did help you in keeping the vessels back in the kitchen. How can I forget that? I liked helping you. Makes me feel I am easing your burden a bit if not fully.

Khushi had lost her control by now. She took the pillow and started beating Arnav with it .

Khushi: I hate you Arnav.. I just hate you..

He tried saving himself and then finally holding the pillow, he pinned her down on bed with the Pillow seperating their bodies. She was panting and so was he because of their Pillow fight. They stared in each others eyes for sometime.

Arnav: You hate me? I know that Khushi. You dont have to say that.

Khushi: Shut up Arnav. You still are not taking my intentions seriously ? How could you ?

Arnav: Intentions? Which intentions?

She was little embarassed to confess especially because of the position they shared.

Khushi: You know what I mean Arnav. Stop teasing me more.

Arnav: I know. But this time I am little scared to admit it to myself. May be because I dont want to be rejected again Khushi. So I want to hear it from you. Just tell me what you want?

Khushi knew how much he was controlling since all these months just because she never allowed him any right on her.He had tried so many ways earlier to make her realise his love and get her forgivness but she had not paid much attention to it but today she had no reason to delay her confession. She cupped his face in her palms.

Khushi:I want you Arnav. Thats all I want, thats what I always wanted but due to your earlier faults and my own insecurities, I always needed time to realise and accept this fact. I have seen the worst side of you and also the best side. I chose to love both these sides of my husband. Because thats what makes him what he is. Will you love me Arnav?

Arnav held her hand moving it to his lips and kissing it once. It felt like ages he wished to make her confess this. Love.. That was it all about. It was always love between them which kept them together even when they faced all odds with respect to their own Sibblings. Today keeping all the matters aside, forgetting all his Sins , she was ready to accept him as her husband and there was nothing else he could ever want from God.

His eyes became moist as he realised how important this confession was for him right from the time he was trying to win her. He hugged her tight never wanting to let her go .There was nothing in this world that can give him this much happiness like she did today .

Arnav : I love you Khushi.

She took him in her embrace. The feelings were new and so was their relationship. Even though they had shared such type of closeness even before but it was never with complete surrender from both sides unlike today.

Khushi: You took so long to confess these 3 words? That shows how fresher you are in terms of loving someone.

Arnav slept at her side ,pulling her towards him for a hug.

Arnav: Better late than never. Never got the courage to say this Khushi. The way I married you forcefully and then the reception night incidents which hurted your soul, everything made me step back.

Khushi punched him slowly on his chest.

Arnav: Aawww. What was that for?

Khushi: For reminding me all that.

Arnav: I had bite hard, didnt I?

She noded pouting her lips and looking in his eyes.

Khushi: It still pains sometimes.

She lied purposely . He took the advantage of this situation though moving his finger on her neck at that same spot where he had bitten her months back.

Arnav: Let me help easing that pain now.

He tried kissing leaning over her but she hugged him back not allowing him to do this.

Arnav: Kya hua?

Khushi: Abhi nahi. I am quite sleepy and take this as your punishment for making me wait so long tonight.

Arnav: Thats unfair.

Khushi gigled as he pulled the quilts on them agreeing to her demand.

Khushi: And tomorrow I have to wake up early to take Di for the checkup. She almost completed 8 and half months Arnav. Now the check ups will be more frequent .

Arnav: How quickly the months passed, isnt it? Its like just yesterday that we all got this news.

Khushi was once again depressed remembering her brother.

Khushi: Haan Arnav. Its been months that we have no contacts with Shyam bhai. I just hope he is fine, wherever he is.

Arnav: Its strange that even after using so many high level contacts, we couldnt find him yet.

Khushi : He is purposely hiding Arnav and its not strange. He used to do this even when he was young .I still remember when he fought, he used to hide himself in the house and then I took hours to find him. He is doing the same today. He doesnt want to come back to us because of his guilt.

Arnav didnt comment anything on that. He still had no idea if Shyam really felt guilty for what he did or not ?Because he personally had no met Shyam and seen these changes in him unlike Khushi did . They both drifted to sleep as the next day was really important from Di's point of view.

Khushi didnt find Anjali in her room and hence she came down to look for her. She searched the whole house and didnt find her still which made her worry . She told Arnav the same and then both started dialing Anjali's number to check where she was. Anjali received the call and informed them that she was out for Temple.

Arnav: Temple? Di how could you go alone ? Why didnt you tell us? I would have joined you too.

Anjali: Chotte please stop worrying. I am absolutely fine. Infact I have reached the temple and even finished taking the Darshan. Driver is waiting outside the gates, I will come back home in few minutes.

Arnav: Di be careful. I dont want anything to happen because its not safe for you to leave alone in such last weeks of your pregnancy

Anjali knew how much Arnav cares for her. She asked him not to worry and then cut the call. Arnav was still feeling unusual but Khushi tried to wash off his worries and served him the breakfast. After almost half an hour suddenly the driver called up Arnav and gave him the most shocking news that Anjali met with a small accident while getting down the stairs and felt unconscious. Arnav was hell scared for his sister and her baby. He informed the same to everyone and without any delay , the family left to the Hospital where Anjali was taken. It was the same hospital where Anjali had booked her name for the delivery. When they all reached here, the Dr's told them they were operating her and she will be having a premature delivery . Nothing was complicated but they would not be able to keep the baby inside her and hence will have to do this surgery . The family were scared and hoped she and the baby would be fine.

After almost an hour the Dr came out with the good news.

Dr: Congratulations Mr Raizada, your sister delivered a baby girl and both the baby and mother are fine. Anjali has some minor injuries but it will be healed in some days.

The family rejoiced at this news but none of them were allowed to meet Anjali now as she was still unconscious.

Arnav: Thank You Dr. You saved my Di and her child.

Dr: Ohh no Mr Raizada. I didnt do anything, it was Anjali's husband who saved them both. He got Anjali here and since then he is just waiting like you people to desperately know about Anjali's health. Anjali had told me about the Divorce filing between her and him earlier. May be thats the reason he is not waiting here with the family but in the other side of the Lobby. I will pass him this good news too.

The Dr left towards the other side of the Lobby whereas Khushi and Arnav stared blankly at each other. That means Shyam was here? He saved Anjali?

The Dr came and congratulated Shyam who was waiting impatiently to know about his wife. The smile on his face was so pure and filled with joy knowing his wife delivered a baby girl .He thanked the Dr who then left and he immediately joined his palms and closed his eyes thanking God for giving him so much happiness all together. Arnav and Khushi observed this .Before Khushi could rush towards her Bhai, Arnav went to him and clutched his collar which even baffled Khushi because she had not expected Arnav to still behave so rude with Shyam.

Arnav: I cant believe you are here? Is this accident anything to do with you? did you try to hurt di?

Arnav had many doubts and it was only his over fear for his Di that made him raise so many questions to Shyam because he knew what this man was capable of.

Shyam: Yakeen maniye Saale Sahab, hum yahan Rani Saheba ko sirf dekhne aaye the. Unke saamne jaane ki yeah apne bacche ko apni godh mein uthaane ke baarein mein hum soch bhi nahi sakte. Aap ko humme iss baat ka ehsaas dilaane ki zaroorat nahi hai ki humme un dono par koi haq nahi hai. Hum iss baat ko jaante hi nahi maante bhi hai. Aur agar aap ko phir bhi yakeen nahi hota toh hum apni behan ki kasam khaate hai. Aap jaante hai hum Khushi ki kasam kabhi jhooti nahi khaa sakte. (Believe me Saale Sahab, I came here only to see Rani Saheba once. I have no courage to even meet her or hold my baby in arms. You dont have to make me realise that I dont have a right on both of them. I have just not realised it but even following it. If you still dont believe me then I can even take my Sister's promise and you know I can never take Khushi's fake promise)

Khushi quickly came between them and held Arnav's hand.

Khushi: Arnav stop it. Didnt you hear what the Dr said, Shyam Bhai has saved Di from the accident . How can you blame him then? We should not speak anything without a proper proof. Please Arnav. Just leave him.

Arnav left Shyam because somewhere even he felt that Shyam was innocent this time . Arnav Singh Raizada in all these years had surely started to and well versed in reading this man's face. This time he couldnt see any form of revenge on it. Infact he could feel Shyam guilty for his acts and he saving Di was just a small favour he could do for all the pain he kept giving this same lady in his life.
