CHAPTER 10-

Next Morining- 7am

Khushi was awake since 6am not able to sleep anymore. She hardly slept for 2 hours. The nervousness was taking over her and the sleep was far away from her.

Frustrated with all the thoughts running in her mind she decided to take a round of the hotel as ariana and payal is asleep and won't wakeup till atleast 12pm

Cleary it wasn't a good idea as she started getting more worried. Flashbacks of their happy days started coming in her mind like a movie.

Their life was so magical so beautiful like a fairytale but its true that fairytales does not exist in reality and now she is back in this cruel world the selfish world.

She still don't get what was the reason how much she want to ask arnav why he divorced her. She wanted to know the reason so bad.

Somewhere in her heart she knew there must be some serious issue that time she knew her arnav still loves her ONLY HER.

She wished this to be a nightmare and once it gets over she comes back to her own world with only him and her but only if this was possible. *Sigh*

She still remember watching sad emotional indian movies and just waiting for the couple to get back together.

How much relief she used to get when she used to watch happily ever afters.

Again that's only in movies. How much she wished to get back to arnav sorting out the problems and starting a new life all over again but atleast she have the right to know why arnav divorced her.

She looked at her surroundings and realized she is actually on the road! Is she insane ? lost in her thoughts she didn't even realize that she has crossed he road and she's standing in the middle of the road probably looking like a mental person.

She started walking towards the hotel when she felt dizziness taking over her she couldn't walk anymore she felt she will fall down the next second when she felt a hard blow on her back .

A minute later she fell unconscious on the road with few people surrounding her.

Person1: OMG Someone help.. we need to take her to the hospital..

Person2: ohh Jesus! This is a hit and run case! We need to call the cops too..

Arnav was driving his car at that moment to reach his office as soon as possible.

Today was a very important day for him. He's gonna meet his khushi again when he felt something extremely wrong. He felt restless all of the sudden..

He ignored it thinking its nothing when a minute later he saw few people surrounding something or someone. Eventhough he was getting late but he couldn't ignore the urge to look what happened.

He tried to ignore but he started feeling more restless when he decided to see what happened.

He came out of the car and went ahead and asked a lady

Arnav: whats wrong here?

Lady: This girl. She was crossing the road absent minded and a car hit her. We need to take her to the hospital as soon as possible. Can you please help us?

Arnav moved the people aside to look at the girl when his heartbeat stop.

Color from his face drained and he went in shock. He couldn't believe what he saw! He sat down on the road taking her in his arms and loved people aside not caring if he is hurting someone.

Arnav: MOVE EVERYONE! I NEED TO TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITIAL!

Person: don't get hyper. Relax and take her to the hospital

Arnav ignored the person, placed khushi carefully in the car and took her to the hospital.

Hospital-

Arnav picked khushi up and ran inside the hospital.

The nurses looked at the couple and immediately brought a stretcher and asked him to place her on it. Arnav placed khushi on the stretcher and held her hand.

Nurse: What happened to her?

Arnav who was going mad in tension didn't hear her

Nurse: sir.. what happened to her

Arnav realized nurse is asking something: She had an accident. She was walking crossing the road and a car hit her.

Nurse: OHH GOD! We need to call the police.

Arnav: STOP WASTING TIME. OPERATE HER FIRST!

Nurse: Relax sir.. we are taking her.

The nurse called other nurses and took khushi in the operation theater.

After a few minutes nurse came outside and came to arnav.

Arnav: how is she?

Nurse: Look sir. We are operating her. We need you to fill this form. I think we have to admit her for few days here.. she's out of danger but we don't know about her mental state. We will get to know once she's in conscious.

Arnav: what do you mean? WHAT MENTAL STATE?

Nurse: look sir. Relax! She got hit on her head. We can't say anything now. maybe she'll be in shock or perfectly fine. What relation do you have with her?

Arnav without thinking a second: She's my wife.

Nurse: Sir your wife is being operated. Please fill the form.

Arnav filled the form and gave it to the nurse.

Its been half an our since khushi was in Operation theater. Arnav was getting worried about her..

The doctor finally came outside.

Arnav: Doctor how is she?

Doctor: Mr Raizada she's fine. She'll be awake in an hour. We will shift her in the room now.

Arnav nodded and waited for khushi to get transferred in the room.

Hospital room-

Arnav looked at khushi's pale face with bandage around her head. He felt he'll cry right now. he was in tears but he need to be strong.

He remember about 2 and a half years ago khushi met with an similar accident in London. It was 6th month of their marriage at that time.

That accident wasn't this much in intensity but it gave him the same stress he's feeling now..

he still remembers sitting in the room waiting for her to wakeup again and now it's the exactly same thing..

An hour later-

Khushi woke up and felt her head extremely heavy. She tried to sit when she shrieked in pain

Arnav immediately looked at her: khushi! you are awake!! Are you okay?

she looked at her state and saw her hands with bandage and she's in hospital.

She looked at arnav sitting with her. She smiled at her husband and felt like kissing him right here but only if these bandages weren't here and her body wasn't paining so much!!.

Khushi: Arnav I'm okay. Don't worry.. whats the time?

Arnav looked at his watch: its 9 khushi.

Khushi: OH MY GOD! Its 9! You didn't go to office? How did I land up here?

Arnav looked at khushi puzzled. Why in the world is khushi behaving like this?

Arnav: khushi are you okay? You had an accident.

Khushi: Ohh yes.. I was going to meet di and I met with an accident.

Arnav felt as if world spinning around. No it can't be what he's thinking. What if it is. He need to conform it.

Arnav: Khushi. where are we?

Khushi: What? Arnav obviously in hospital.

Arnav: I meant which city khushi?

Khushi: Arnav are you okay? Its London.

Arnav couldn't believe it! NO SHE LOST HER MEMORY.

Okay so finaly i updated. Who thought this will happen? No one? Me too 😆 I just got this idea inspired by "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" 😆
