I feel sorry for Arnav because he realized just now what he has lost. How sad that is...and not able to share his pain with Khushi is even sadder. He has no one to share his pain at the moment but everyone has their time. Things will get better soon 😳

And Khushi has this inner feeling that everything is not alright. She lost her memory but kahi na kahi she feels someething is terribly wrong.

I am eager to know how this story continues and I really looking forward next update.

Chapter 21

-Next Day Afternoon-

-Normal POV-

Arnav decided to call the hospital and get Dr Mira's number. He himself didn't know what to do, the shock was still there and he knew this isn't getting better anytime soon.

He wished he could discuss it with Khushi but he couldn't tell her for her sake..

He dialed the number

-Call-

Arnav: "London Bridge Hospital?"

Receptionist: "Yes Sir, Good Afternoon."

Arnav: "I need Dr Mira D'Souza's Contact Number"

Receptionist: "I am so sorry Sir we are not allowed to give our Doctor's contact number like this"

Arnav: "It's important. I need to talk to her"

Receptionist: "I understand Sir but it is against our rules, she is in the hospital right now, I can transfer the call to her cabin."

Arnav: "Fine."

Receptionist: "Let me check if she is free. I will transfer the call."

-Hold-

Receptionist: "Okay I am transferring the call now."

Dr Mira: "Dr Mira D'Souza here"

Arnav: "Arnav Singh Raizada"

Dr Mira: "Mr Raizada how can I help you?"

Arnav: "I need some information about your patient"

Dr Mira: "Whom are you talking about Mr Raizada?"

Arnav: "Khushi Gupta"

Dr Mira: "Mr Raizada what's your relation with her?"

Arnav: "Her... Her husband"

Dr Mira: "Ohh, Do you have her ID Number or report? What date was it?"

Arnav: "Yes I have her Misca..rriage report, It was 3rd May 2012"

He gulped painfully. He wanted to run way from the reality but he knew its important.

Dr Mira: "Mr Raizada I need her ID Number. It must be on the top of the report"

Arnav: "Wait I'll tell you... Its 0013005043"

Dr Mira: "Give me a minute I will search her report in the records"

Arnav: "Sure"

Dr Mira: " Khushi Gupta, Age 26 as of now."

Arnav: "Yes"

Dr Mira: "What do you want to know Mr Raizada?"

Arnav: "Doctor Khushi had an accident about a month back. Due to her head injury she's suffering from amnesia. Her other Doctor asked for her medical reports and details. I need to know about how this happened"

He took a deep breath trying to calm down. He felt fear building up once again

Dr Mira: "You are her husband? As far as I remember Khushi told me she got divorced"

Arnav: "Doctor as I told you earlier that she got had an accident. She lost her memory, she thinks she's still married to me. I can't tell or ask her anything which will shock her. She doesn't even remember about her miscarriage. I got to know about this yesterday"

Dr Mira: "Ohh, She did not tell anyone about this and asked me especially not to mention it in front of her family."

Arnav: "Doctor did she know about the pregnancy?"

Dr Mira: "No Mr Raizada she did not know about her pregnancy. She was really shocked when I told her about her Miscarriage"

Arnav didn't know how to react, that moment he realized that his pain was nothing in front of Khushi's, He couldn't even imagine her reaction.

He felt he was the culprit, if only he fought for his Khushi, if only he didn't separate her from himself. If only..

Dr Mira: "Mr Raizada are you there?"

Arnav: "Yes.. Yes Doctor.. How did the miscarriage happened?"

He sighed, he had to know about this no matter what.

Dr Mira: "She was really weak and stressed. Her hemoglobin was lower than average which is really not good in this condition. She was not aware of her pregnancy and ignored the symptoms thinking she's just stressed"

The doctor explained her conversation with Khushi

"Khushi it is not very common to have a miscarriage in first trimester by getting hurt on your stomach but stress is a big issue."

"You are already very week. Your hemoglobin isn't normal which matters a lot in pregnancy"

Dr Mira: "She was in her second month"

Arnav: "Thankyou Doctor"

Dr Mira: "I hope she is doing well"

Arnav: "She's okay"

After ending the call Arnav went through her reports. He had to take these reports to the hospital next week and had to show it to Dr Stephanie.

Keeping all of them safe in his locker he went downstairs.

Khushi was beyond confused, she felt everyone acting weird around her. She didn't miss how her brother gave a glare to Arnav when he entered the house nor she missed the sadness in Anjali's eyes.

She had a gut feeling that something was wrong, everything around her felt like an act.

She never felt so wrong, as much as she tried to stay happy these thoughts came back crashing all her peace.

She wanted to know more, she wanted to know what happened between these two years, she wanted to know each and everything she missed but no one told her.

Whenever she tried to remember her past on her own she felt herself going weak, she felt throbbing headache.

She had a feeling.. NO she knew something is terribly wrong, she couldn't shake of that feeling, she just couldn't.

Later that day-

Khushi came in the room and sat on the bed. She looked at Arnav who was busy talking to Aman on the phone and frowned. She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes.

Arnav looked at her and got worried. "Aman, I'll call you back later"

He sat beside her and kept his hand on her shoulder

Arnav: "Khushi?"

Khushi: "Hmm?"

Arnav: "Are you okay?"

Khushi: "Yes, Why?"

Arnav: "You don't usually lay down like that so.."

Khushi: "Just a little headache so thought of taking a nap"

Arnav: "Did you take your medicines?"

Khushi bit her tongue knowing she'll get a lecture now. She shook her head slightly making him glare at her.

Arnav: "Very good. May I ask why you are being so careless? Khushi you know that you are not well. You need to take your medicines on time. Get up now"

Khushi whined making him give her a stern look. She sighed.

Arnav: "Sit straight Khushi, I'll be back with your medicines"

Few minutes later Arnav came back with a glass of water and her medicines.

Khushi: "Where were you?"

Arnav: "I was trying to find your medicines"

Khushi: "Ohh, okay give it to me.. Arnav why three tablets? I have to have two of them only"

Arnav: "Paracetamol"

Khushi: "What?"

Arnav: "Khushi its Paracetamol for you headache"

Khushi: "Ohh"

Arnav: "Have the medicines and go to sleep, I'll wake you up in an hour"

Khushi: "Okay"

It feels good to be back. I know i didn't update since long. Almost 2 months but anyway i'm back. 😛

The ID Number is total random and i just searched hospitals in London and selected one name :P
