She looked at Arnav who was driving the car with full concentration and not even looking at her, she thought he's angry on her, she made a sad face thinking she had hurt him too much.

Few minutes later they reached "their" home, Khushi got out of the car with arnav and looked at the surroundings noticing quite a lot of security guards standing at the entrance and the gate.

She got confused and turned towards arnav.

Khushi: Arnav

Arnav: Yes Khushi?

Khushi: Why is our home surrounded by so much security. Is everything okay?

Arnav got a bit panicked thinking what to say: Everything is fine khushi don't worry they are just for the security and nothing else. Lets go in.

Khushi's POV-

Once i got inside I tried to remember something anything related to our home but everything was blank as if I was never here.

I got so confused. How is it possible to not remember anything, I have spent my 2 years here how could I not remember anything?

I felt tears in my eyes of depression, I couldn't do anything I was helpless I couldn't remember our life here.

I looked at arnav entering with the handbags. I felt my tears running down my eyes I couldn't wipe them I couldn't do anything

I was depressed, confused and helpless.

Arnav's POV-

I looked at khushi and saw her tears. I immediately got worried. I went towards her and cupped her face and wiped her tears

Arnav: Khushi? What happened? Are you okay? Why are you crying?

Khushi kept mum and more tears started flowing down her face

Arnav: Khushi! talk to me. What wrong? Why are you crying?

Khushi's POV-

I didn't want to cry, I didn't want to get him worried but I don't know what happened to me I just can't stop my tears.

I couldn't even speak and answer him properly, I myself was confused at what to do what to say! I looked at him and let my tears flow down.

I moved my hands around his chest and hugged him tight.

I didn't want to let him go, it felt like something I couldn't name. I felt I hugged him with all my life depending on him as if my life would end the minute I leave him.

It was like I came back in his life after a long time. I wanted answers to my questions but I didn't have any.

He caressed my back trying to calm me down asking me not to cry and tell him the reason.

Khushi: Arnav.. I.. I'm sorry.. I don't know... whats happening with me... i.. I'm confused, I don't remember anything.

Normal POV-

Arnav felt someone pierced pins in his heart. How can he do this? He can't keep her like this but he have to for her.

He can't give her stress he can never. He can't even think of hurting her. he felt his own eyes getting mist.

Arnav: Shh.. calm down. please khushi. don't cry love, please khushi.

Khushi felt more tears soaking his shirt: I don't want to Arnav. I don't want to but this is killing me.

Arnav immediately interrupted: Shh.. don't even dare say that. never talk about that ever.

Khushi: I don't know! I want to remember everything arnav. this is taking me in depression you don't know I feel so helpless.

Arnav: No please khushi don't say that. I'm here with you. I will not let you do in depression. Just relax khushi. I'm here for you.

Khushi: I know arnav. I know but I can't help it. Even today I got angry on you on the phone. I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to lash out on you like that but... it just.. happened

Arnav: Are you crazy khushi? No don't say sorry! I didn't even mind that. I know I was wrong I shouldn't have left you there. I should say sorry to you. Please don't cry. Now stop crying.

Arnav broke the hug. he cupped her face once again and wiped her tears.

He kissed her forehead and picked her up in the bridal style, he took her to in the room.

Arnav: Did you eat something?

Khushi: No. I didn't feel like eating

He laid her down on the bed

Arnav: I'll be back in few minutes with your food.

Khushi: No I don't want to eat. Please arnav don't go

Arnav: be quiet khushi. Just relax. I'm coming back in few minutes.

A defeated khushi nodded and closed her eyes.

---15 minutes Later--

Arnav came in the room with a bowl of soup and looked at her. She was almost asleep. Arnav bwck a sat on the bed beside her and called her.

Arnav: Khushi. I'm back. Now have this and then sleep.

Khushi opened her eyes and looked at him. She saw he soup and made a weird face.

Khushi: Arnav!! I don't want to have this. You know I hate soup. Please don't make me eat this thing.

Arnav: Shut up women and have this. You aren't well okay? Now quickly eat it and then sleep. I'll bring anything you want to eat tomorrow but for now only soup.

Khushi: please arnav anything but not this.

Arnav softly said: no khushi. Look you aren't well and you are still weak. You need to have something healthy. So have this and rest.

Khushi: fine! Give it to me.

Arnav: just sit and I'll make you eat this.

Khushi smiled and sat on the bed. Arnav made her eat the Soup. After that he asked her to lay down.

Khushi: wait I'll be back.

Arnav: where are you going? Sleep now. Don't move from here.

Khushi: atleast let me go to the washroom.

Arnav embarrassed nodded. Khushi giggled and went.

Few minutes later she came back and sat back on the bed.. Arnav looked at her and smiled.

First time he was feeling awkward. He didn't want to but he couldn't forget that she isn't his wife anymore.

Worst thing is that she doesn't even know that!

Arnav: khushi do you have any medicines to eat?

Khushi: no I have one but I have to eat it in the evening so I already had it.

Arnav: okay then now sleep and don't stress much.

He helped her lay down on the bed. He kissed her forehead softly.

Arnav: Goodnight love.

He got up to go out of the room when khushi held his hand.

Khushi softly said: Arnav.. Stay please.

Arnav sat down beside her: I'm here khushi. Just going outside to check the main door. I'll be back in 2 minutes.

Arnav checked the main door and locked it, he called aman and asked him if everything was going fine. After assuring that everything is fine he went back in the room.

Khushi looked at arnav confused. He was sitting on the couch with his laptop. She wondered why isn't he coming to bed.

Its been 10 minutes since he came back in the room and started working on his laptop. Though the lights were of but she couldn't sleep.

Khushi: Arnav.. What are you doing?

Arnav: i'm completing a project and khushi why aren't you asleep yet?

Khushi: I'm not able to sleep arnav.

Arnav came and sat beside her.

Arnav: what's wrong? Are you okay?

Khushi: Arnav please leave the work and come to bed.

Arnav gulped. He didn't want her to say this, he can't stay close to her no matter how much he wants to.

What will he say to her when she gets her memory back. He doesn't want her to think he took advantage of the situation.

Arnav: Khushi.. I'll sleep in a while after I complete this. You sleep.

Khushi: no please I'm not able to sleep arnav. I want you to stay with me. Do your work afterwards.

Arnav: but.

Khushi: please arnav. Please?

Arnav: okay wait let me close the laptop. I'm coming back.

He came to the bed and lay down. He felt her coming close to him and hugging him keeping her head on his chest.

He couldn't do anything. He couldn't ask her to move away. All he wanted was to stay like this forever.

He turned towards her and hugged her closer keeping his hand on her waist.

Her face buried in his chest feeling his hearbeat running same as hers.

She smiled and hugged him more tightly finally getting the most comfortable sleep after 2 years..

He kept caressing her back until the sleep took over him.

This was the best sleep they both had in these 2 years.

I'm back. As I promised I'll update as soon as I write. I am updating now. I must say this is the most difficult chapter ever.

I had to keep the awkwardness from Arnav's side as it shouldn't look like he's taking advantage of the situation. Plus emotional is so difficult! OMG

Now this is the longest chapter ever. Wrote the update after almost 1.5 months. Was so nervous it was like I totally forgot how to write.
