Chapter 4.

She twisted the knob and closed the door, leaning against its cold wooden frame. Closing her eyes she inhaled sharply. All the sore recollections flashed in front of her eyes.

A little girl wearing lehenga and choli, chasing her dog in whole house and she stops finally, laughing, as she finds the dog hiding beneath the rocking chair. She looks up at the man sitting on it and smiles. That man carefully picks up the dog from beneath and hands it to her, his face enlightened on seeing his daughter's naive smile, his only guiltless possession.

A tear drop rolled down her cheeks. It was difficult for her to keep running like this. But she was left with no option. She have to make sure nothing goes wring this time.

They say it right, Strange are the games of fate. Everyone was burning in a fire, She was burning in fire of struggle, Shivam in the fire of conceit and Rey...in the fire of vengeance.

He picked his car keys from stand and walked towards his car. It was pouring heavily, with sky bathed in a shade of Grey and Dark blue. Smell of earthy oils filled his nostrils, soothing him, washing off all the secondary thoughts and strengthening the old loops. This was a revenge from Shivam or anyone who was related to him in anyway...including Kria. He tightened his fist in resolve.

Sounds of the ghungroo filled the entire hall. A young girl was running before a dog trying to catch him. Her feminine body adorned with a long Indian skirt and top. Her simple dupatta tracing her path as she runs behind the dog. Her lips shaped up in the most beautiful smile one would've ever seen. Her eyes looking at the dog pleading to stop. And she stops running, catching her breath as she found the dog hiding behind someone. She looks up and smiles at the man. He carefully pushed the dog in her direction and she picks it in her arms, hugging it. There was a something about this girl which made the man stop and watch her cuddle her dog. A certain peace, innocence, warmth, her childlike smile.

"Thank You" She thanked him and squealed as the dog again escaped from her grip. And the man? He watched her run again, care freely behind the dog. The entire hall again filled with the sounds of ghungroos and her giggles.

"Who is she?"

"She is my sister. Kria." Shivam smiles as he puts his hand on Rey's shoulder, answering him.

"Your sister?"Rey watches him in disbelief.

"Yes. But that's not important lets discuss the propositions which you've suggested for this deal."Shivam said as they walked across the hall.

"Yes, The propositions, Beneficial ones" Rey muttered under his breath, still looking at Kria who was giggling while running across the hall.

Getting inside his car, he quickly dialed Shivam's number.
