Hi Sandhya
Not in town, traveling at the moment. A quick note to say - This update was heart wrenching... Will write a detailed update soon..

I couldn't stay away, so here I am again.. I have read this update twice already. I love the pace of your story. I also loved how you're weaving all the characters back into your narrative, giving them time to disclose who they are, in this setting. I have to talk about Arnav Singh Raizada in this update. :) I see that you have put him in a place where he has to decide if he is ready to REALLY let Khushi go... and I see that in him/his Nani gifting Khushi his mother's bangles. That wrung my heart a bit for him.. given the significance of those bangles and Khushi's place in his heart. See - I always knew and believed that he never stopped loving her - His Anjali knew that all along.. the only person who did then and stood by him.
The most significant exchange in this update was between Payal and Arnav.. I have to include a quotation here... Payal couldn't believe that the man she had condemned for so long was the one sitting before her, trying to console her.... In these pithy lines you've managed to elevate Arnav in Payal's eyes. And rightfully so - I've always maintained that this man's [you've created here] integrity is something to reckon! YEP, My crushing continues. :) And Payal has always been the silent and distant one..And I see her transforming in these lines here..."Why don't you give him a break? Stop psycho-analysing him." Payal ordered.
Akash blew out a whistle. "Seriously? f**king seriously? You plan to go from attacking to protecting in less than twenty-four hours?" He lifted a stray strand of hair off her cheek and said with a cheeky grin, "Nice! Very nice!" Here you have not only shown Payal's transformation, you've also included Akash's awareness of it.. so well woven here - the slow transformations of your characters. Anya was last update, this one is for Payal.. Thus collusion to get ASR and KKG together...I am interested in how you are going to make this happen..
Speaking of getting ASR and KKG together - I see that the sands of time have not remained still.. :) I see a silently rumbling volcano ready to erupt (ASR); fault lines developing and shifting and potential for quakes between Nandu and KKG taking place... I feel really bad for Nandu - He is going to end up getting hurt here.. Will you have someone kind and gentle for him to help him pick up his pieces? I hope you will..
And so - the story teller left us all on tenterhooks again.. :) Loved it as always Sandhya! Have you written anything else?

ps: Will Shyam, Aman and Akash remain silent for long? Or will they have something to say?
