"Yeah thanks buddy!" Asad says taking change from mc'd guy. He picks up two parcels and runs to his car.
"Take it" he says giving a packet to stella.
"Thankyou!" Stella smiles opening the packet.
"Umh ita tastly! She adds gobling up a burger in wrapper itself.
"You know what stell, its yuck!" He says referring to the way she have the burger all the time.
Stell shifts her jaw in tease and resume back on munching more bites of burger.
"so?" she asks from no where , making asad looked at her alien.
"so what?" he says opening the tisuue from dashboard and placing it over his thigh
"As much as i know you, you already had booked tickets to india in search of subject-"
"Zoya" asad quickly corrected her without knowing , stella stops on her words with a bright smile.
"O-K zoya! Good?" She breaks the word emphasizing it in funny way.
Asad coughs on his bite on realizing his mistake and quickly tries to cover it up with topic change.
"James!" Stella calls him in a boyish way; " she is our subject for god sake. Don't you start on her name for god sake" she warns asad while he donot give a damn.
"Talking about ticket right!" He speak in stern voice.
"Oh ya!" Stell exclaims remembering thats she broke the link; " so what you say? How should we look at this case". She throws bouncer at him which he catches it efficiently.
"See, we found her in a factory. This toy factory is shut down since ages then how did she get in there? The watchman out claims to not have seen her near and also denies any acknowledgement on her being there as hostage."
"May be he is lying then" stella cuts off him in between.
" no stell he is not. He finishes of his burger while stell is still chewing the last bite. He takes the plate carefully and dumps it in nearby dustbin. Thwn wiping the tissues he threw them too tossing on the bucket.
"And how are you so sure?" Stella inquires,wiping tissue on her lips.
"Because lady" he halts before putting seat belt for her as well with him; " we found her in basement remember?" He waits for her to recall incident.
" yes" she answers confused
"And the distance from the door to basement is maximum, it is posible that the watchman never went inside to check as he himself had admit that he never had went inside once after his recruitment here"
"Oh yes! that silly haunted crap he said, do you believe him?" She immediately answers replaying watchmans confession on ghost inside.
"No i dont!" He chuckle in amusement;" but then this makea it clear that whoever took her thwre knew, that security never comes to check inside and is afraid of ghost which means , even if any noise is made he wi take it as supernatural activity. And not suspect of being human inside there."he completes with a confident explanation's on theory.
"Oh wonderful" she complements him; " so now what? How did they get in with security knowing anything about" she asks with a tense look.
"Getting inside any premise is not so difficult job aby window any space can help, or you always have a perfect key option." He adds and stells claps for him in awe.
"So next move?" She asks gaining a groan from asad for her question.
"Please take appointment for yourself too buddy, you seem to have memory losses these days" he replies sarcastically gaining a reward of killer glares by Stella.
"Humph! Our next destination is india, ms farooqui's home" he completea and began with the drive.
Here at hospital, a women in 40's enters the zoya ward she had this smile on her fave and her hair is open , she looks indian as well with all salwar kameez and get up.
"Excuse me ma'am you cannot come in like this! Who are you?" Nurse barricades her way and encounter her with few known question.
The women smiles at her and with a sweet hand gesture she asks her to wait and with that she slips her hand inside her bag, taking her ID out with her.
"Mrs Dilshad khan" the nurse read out for her.
Dilshad quickly takes back her ID and completes her full identity.
" its Dr dilshad khan, i am a psychiatrist for zoya" she looks back to door and reads the number again "am i in correct ward?" She asks in mocking tone.
"Yes ma'm you surely are. I am sorry ma'm i thought-"
"Its ok , forget it" dilshad stops the murmuring of the nurse with a gentle smile.
"Can i see miss farooqui now?" She talks on face.
"Yea ma'm" the nurse sides her way and walks out of the ward quietly.
Dilshad sighs in exhaustion and turns her face to zoya who is twitchig her face and her eyes moves in a slight way.
"Well, on time" dilshad claps her hand once softly , watching zoya get up from sleep.
"Wakeup little girl" she says softly and with the end of line ,zoya's eye shot out in open and a strong voice echoes in room.
"Help me please!"
"Stell your home or mine?" Asad asks casually looking at his watch.
"Umh let me think. Well.." She act lie thinking and them with giggle she replies; " me mine way , you go yours.ok sweety" she gives him puppy touch on hair.asad shake his head in no with a groan slipping her hands off his hair
"You know you should consult sex doctor as well, i doubt you to be lesbian" he says on her face making her eyes jolt with fun and then with amusement "hahhah no jammy boy , i am perfectly normal and so i know my betterment is to stay away from you when you sound cocky, because yoy are not my type, umh" she makes a thinking face again ;" naah not really" she turns around wishing goodbye to asad with a giggle, asad too frown but then immediately her brow relaxes and he wish her goodbye with a laugh.
He picks his speed and soon he finds himself at a pub , not even a proper minute have passed and girls are already flaunting on him. He picks up on one girl by buying her a drink and soon they both moves to his to rock the night.
In asad's room, "baby i think your phone is ringing" the blonde that he had picked up who now is in his bed top less wakes him up with a shake.
Asad looks at her with a killing look and then at the phone she is holding in air.
He checks the screen that reada stella.
"Whats it darling, changed the plan" he says referring to the offer he had given her in car.
"Shutup asad its serious" Stella sounds a little louder this time.
"Who is it honey!" The girl on his bed asks moving her index finger over his chest. Asad holds her hand and winks at her asking her to wait for some time.
"Again getting laid hun!" Stella rolls her eyes at him.
"What to do, police job is a stress job you know, need relief on time" he replies witha grin making her eyes hit her socket in annoyance.
"James, just be quick , leave the cheek there , where ever you are and come here?" Stella instructs him and asad laughs in amusement
" babes i know many arts of women but the art to see through phone is still out of my reach" he laughs at his own joke while stella barks this time literally making him deaf with high pich volume.
"At hospital. The subject is up. Come now" she says clicking the phone disconnect.
"Oh f**ked up ass" he abuse looking at his cell.
"Who was it honey, and where are you going now?" The blonde checks on time and pouts with her swollen lips.
"GAme finished babes. Time for work." He sighs huging the girl for the last time and went to pick up his shirt from the floor and then he walks out of his room , soon the girl followed him behind. He smiled as he locked the door after her and thwy both parted.
At hospital, " where are you james , its already pass 1 in night." Stella is practically screaming on othwr line while dilshad is trying to calm her down. " come quick james" she order making asad mentally kill her for screaming on him.
Asad slides his phone back to his pocket and removing the glasses off his nose he walks smartly with a style inside the hospital making all sleepy eyes turn at him with a awe. He looks damn handsome even when he is practically tired and sleepy.
His brow tense up on hearing loud noises towards his room , exactly the turn where sub- , no! Zoya's ward is there. He with a tense looks started taking bigger piles to reach as early as possible. He breathed heavily in his racing attempt an halted on practically slipping on floor , he balanced himself on the glass door ,hooked with two fingers. He stoped ,taking in and calming down his nerves. he with a cool mask on his face walked inside the ward pushing the door inside; the atmosphere inside was depressing. Zoya is fighting with two nurses to let her be free, her hand are in grip of nurses and everyone are trying to calm her , she is desperately trying to free herself from their grip by calling for help. Dilshad and stella both are brushing her hair, shh her to soothe but nothing is heloing her. Asad fell the atmosphere not suitable to enter and so he decides to gwt out of here with soft feet. The moment he tries to open the door, a sharp creak sound echoes in the room and every thing turns silent. He turns behind bitting his tongue in caught theif way and looks at everyone with an apologizr look.
"Sorry" he whispers looking at all.
Nurse and stella are looking at him blankly while zoya and dilshad had this unknown emotions bubbling inside them. And next second before anyone can know , zoya screamed something with dry throat and pulling her hands off them, she pushed everything on her way and started running towards asad like her life dependent on him.
Everybody stared at her in shock , but the biggest shock was for asad when shr ran and landed in his arm with a cry.
"Ap kaha chale gaye the?" He found her saying between her sobs.
" main kya?" Asad asks confused trying to forms a sentence.
"I was so scarred baby, please take me from here" asad looks at zoya and then at dilshad who hints at him to play along and she will answer it later.
Asad took a long breathe before wrapping his one hand on her head with palm and other on her back, the touch was lightly and meant nothing but support.
"Shh...i am here. I came zoya. I came now dont cry." He said brushing her hair with cooing words.
And the magic was done immediately she turns calm and peace on his arms and soon she fall sleep by standing with him. Asad leans a little putting a hand wrapping the leg and other on her back to lift her off floor and then he walked to her bed silently.
Nurse and dilshad both gave him space to let zoya fall on bed.
He then looked at dilshad and eyed her to come out and explain her everything. Dilshad nods in approval and walks out waiting for him at the door.
He tucks the blanket on zoya carefully and quietly leaves the room with any noise.
"Can someone explain me what just had happened there?" He asks everyone standing there.
"James listen," dilshad pause for him to turn and relax ;" that girl when got up, she was very afraid. She was literally freaking out as soon as she came to concious. We tried everything but nothing worked and in the mean time she asked for someone from his family. And accidentally mrs gomes blurted out about her husband waiting for her. And truat me it worked too. She calm down and took her medicine and was going well.
Untill she again fall asleep and when got up she again had an attack which is normal due to the bad memories and your luck you came there on right time and-"
"And she thinks i am her husband now! What the f**k!" Asad exclaimed with open mouth.
"Yes james! She does. Sorry!" Stella quickly sympathies with him with her low voice.
"You stella you purposely called me here." He roars in anger
" no james i called you for help, but things turned this way was surprise for me as well" asad yells cutting stella in between.
"I dont know anything! I want you two to go when she wakes up and tell her the truth. Tell her that i am not her husband, am i clear" he says with an anger and soon seize it with a sharp scream from zoya ward.
"James look , if you tell her thw truth now, whe might slip in to serious brain damages. Try to understand she is not in the conditions to take shocks. Please help the girl. Dont do this to her. Its just a matter of time and soon we will make her know the truth when times come" dilshad tries to explain him.
Asad waits for a while , listening to zoya's call for her husband which in her eye is he himself. The cry and pain in zoya voice forced him to accept what was right for her.
He started walkimg towards in her room when stella calls.
"Hey jammy, running where?"
"Cant you hear, my wifey is calling me!" He yells back running on his feet towards zoya.
"Funny guy!" Stella squeaks softly with a proud smile.
As dilshad and stella both watches him handling zoya in his arms shushing her with care.
"Allah tera shukar hai!"dilshad thanked allah for the help of zoya.
