You have brilliantly illustrated Lavanya's fragile mental state, Arnav's devastating sorrow and Khushi's uncertainties.👏
The skeletons come tumbling out of the closet... Lavanya obsessed with her unrequited feelings for Arnav tricks him by using the 'pregnancy' card, resultantly throwing them into a tumultuous, strife-ridden marriage which ended with the irreparable loss of their beloved son. I am glad she is in counseling as her loss has pushed her completely over the edge. I feel bad for Lavanya, she maybe a devious, scheming shrew but no one deserves to lose their child.
The Arnav of your story is a perfect gentleman... responsible, honorable and principled... He married Lavanya to right the wrong of their 'one-night stand'. He loved Arav like his own even when he found out he was not his biological child, such are the 'bonds of the heart'.
Arnav is very lucky to get a chance at love with our 'woman of substance' Khushi, who would gladly give a piece of her soul to buy her man some happiness. Khushi the selfless, tender, loving woman, who wants to fill his heart with love and tranquility, a stark contrast to the conniving, vindictive Lavanya who is singularly focused on making Arnav's life a living hell.
Enjoying this journey of trials, love and hope... waiting to see where it is headed...

Wow Jen, I can't believe this, you made me reserve a spot after what seems like ages... 🤔Credit goes entirely to your amazing writing on this lovely story...**Edited**Women like Lavanya are a disgrace to womankind period. This may sound too old fashioned but there is always wisdom in old sayings...
What is a woman?
An innocent love, a pillar of beauty, a temple of love.
A faithful companion, a friend in distress,
The greatest of blessings a man could possess.
Instead what do we have here, a conniving, scheming, selfish female. Lavanya turned out to be a man's worst nightmare... She tricked Arnav into marrying her by getting pregnant but voila! not with his child but someone else's!!! All this while, I had known that she must have forced Arnav's hand in marriage by getting pregnant, and although I had a nagging doubt I wasn't sure whether Aarav was indeed Arnav's biological son or not... So the truth about Aarav not being Arnav's biological son left a bitter taste in my mouth regarding Lavanya & increased my respect & admiration for Arnav that much more...
All this while, I felt really sorry for Lavanya as well... I was empathizing with her since she had lost a child too, & she too was grieving for the loss of that child hence could understand her sentiments about trying to hold on to Arnav & not wanting to sign the divorce papers... But today after finding out the truth, all bets are off Lavanya... But for her sake, I wish her neurotic behavior gets treated by her shrink... Her obsession for Arnav & loss of her child have certainly pushed her off her rocker... Glad that she is seeking professional help, but from the looks of it, it is a long road to recovery...
She seems to be a case of hell hath no fury a woman scorned... Looks like she was & is still obsessed with Arnav... And she may have succeeded in fooling Arnav into marrying her once but she is trying to push her luck a little too much this time round... Her anger & resentment towards Arnav is pathetic... She wants to make him suffer?? Is blaming him for Aarav's accident?? Why? Just because he believed her lies & did the honorable thing by marrying her & even loved & treated Aarav as his own even after finding out that he was not Aarav's biological father?? It is infinitely sad to lose a child like that... Poor Arnav will always live with that grief & guilt... Though it is so unfair to see him suffer like this... And top of all this, Arnav is now trying to get an amicable divorce... Speaks volumes for his large heartedness... So proud of him, he is a thorough gentleman. 👏
Her sick & obsessed brain refuses to understand that you cannot force someone to love you & with these kinds of actions, whatever empathy or sympathy Arnav might have had for her has been lost forever as well... But jealousy is a venomous emotion, hope she won't create more trouble of ArHi in the future, especially Khushi, who is already weighed down under a mountain of guilt...
What can I say about Khushi?? Poor girl is torn between what is right & wrong... Fighting her desires at the cost of her happiness only to do the honorable thing... Such a pleasant contrast to the selfish Lavanya... No wonder Arnav fell for her so swiftly... His already starved heart craving for some comfort, fell for the kind-hearted, simple & honorable girl that Khushi is, not to talk about her alluring beauty...
Am so glad to see Aastha & Arnav patch up finally... For all her well-meaning advice, Aastha has to learn to trust her son... She needs to have more faith in her upbringing of Arnav... I am so glad that those two are on the right track now... And I am sure she will be more than sorry when she finally learns the truth about Aarav's parentage... And how Lavanya tricked her Arnie... I am sure all her empathy & compassion towards Lavanya will swiftly turn into fury when she learns how Lavanya almost destroyed her son's life for good... But have to say this, I admire Arnav for not disclosing this significant detail to Aastha till now... For him, Aarav was HIS son, biological or not... The man sure is of amazing character... 👏
Last but not the least, their full moon rendezvous amongst the fragrant saffron fields was nothing short of magical... 😳 Khushi's confession just sealed their deal which was echoed in their clasped hands while walking uphill towards their car... So looking forward to their journey together...
Awesome update Jen as always... Looking forward to the next phase of this story...
P.S. Loved the quick update this time :) Hope you can continue to do the same :) And you may have written a long update but it seemed like it got over too soon 😉
