Outside the Court
Media persons were flocked outside the court to get the glimpse of what was happening. Today Gaffur Ahmed Siddique will be giving his testimony on gudiya factory case. This was the hot news of the day, headlines of the newspapers and TV channels. Public Prosecutor Mr. KD Pathak were roped in for a special interview but he dispersed it saying no comments as of now. Even the defence lawyer was showered with questions by the media but he unable to face the media and its questions left the venue to the court room arena.
Inside the court room.
Today everybody was present at the court to see what will be the turning point in the famous Gudiya factory case. Zoya was today hopeful that her mother would get justice ultimately, her mother's unknown death years ago is paving way for a new beginning after 17 years of burial. Zoya squeezed Asad's hands when Gaffur was brought in. Razia and Tanveer the two women who were involved in all the murders till date were also brought to the court for trial. Tanveer was eyeing Zoya venomously and Razia was eyeing her menacingly. Asad flinched seeing Tanveer his once trusted friend who tried to back stab him, defame his love, his zoya, made Zoya the culprit and how innocently she created situations that made them misunderstand Zoya who was innocent and pure at heart. Both Razia and Tanveer were handcuffed. The trial began. Since the only evidence which left was the voices in the chip which was now converted into a computer software which was capable of voice recognition.
Gaffur started his narration "yeh 17 saal pehle ki baat hai, jab main aur Rashid gudiya factory ki malik Akbar Hussain ji ke yahan naukri karte the. Akbar Hussain aur Rashid ki doosri biwi Shirin ki abbu bohot ache dost the aur business main partner bhi the. Akbar saab ne Shirin ko apne bte ke liye pasand kiya, par ain waqt par Shirin ne nikah se mana kar diya, saari biradari ke samne, sab ke samne "qubool nahi hai keh diya". Iss baat se Akbar saab aur Shirin ke abbu ke beech kaha suni hogayi aur dheere dheere yeh unki beech ki dooriyaan badti gayi ki vo apne partnership ko thod diya. Akbar saab spices ke karobar chodkar gudiyon ka kharkhana khola, aur Shirin ke abbu vohi purana spices ka business. Partnership break hone ke baad main aur Rashid shirin ke abbu ke saath milgaye. Ek din Shirin ke abbu ko pata chala ki Shirin ke inkar karne ke vajah Rashid hai, Shirin Rashid se mohabbat karti thi. Shirin ke abbu ne Rashid ko bulakar sachchai janne ki koshish ki, pata chala ki Rashid ne kabhi Shirin ko uss nazarse dekha hi nahi, aur Rashid pehlse hi shaadi shuda tha aur ek beta bhi tha Asad. Lekin Shirin ne zid pakad kar baiti thi ki vo sirf nikah karegi tho Rashid se. Iss beech hum sab ne Shirin ko Rashid ki sachchai batane ki koshish ki , lekin Shirin ne khudkhushi karne ki koshish ki aur uska dimagi halat bohot kamzor tha, vo kuch janne samajne ki halat main nahi thi. Lekin Shirin ke abbu ne Rashid ko dhamki di ki agar vo iss nikah ke liye razi nahi hua tho vo hamesha hamesha ke liye apne parivar ko kho dega. Lekin sach tho yeh hai, ki Rashid ne sirf gudiya factory ko aag lagayi thi meri kehne pe, usko pata nahi tha ki vahan ek aurat ka qatl pehle se hi hochuka hai, aur vo qatl koi aur nahi balki meri biwi Razia ne kiya tha, main jab tak vahan pohunchta Razia ne qatl ko anjaam de chuki thi aur jab maine zyadaa sawal poochne laga tho usne muje bhi chup karva diya, kyunki uss waqt main Bhopal Committee member banne ke liye election lad raha tha, aur aisa ek case phasna matlab mein barso je jo sapna dekh raha tha vo ek hi jhatke main khatm hojatha, main bhi khud garz ban gaya aur meri zubaan par tala lag gaya. Rashid bekasur tha, ek halat ke mara hua insaan jo apne parivar se bohot mohabbat karta tha, lekin unke salamati ke liye, unhe samaj main koi dhudkar na mile issliye waqt ke haathon majboor hogaya. PP asked "tho aap yeh kehna chahte hain ki Hiba ka qatl Tanveer ne kiya" Gaffur "jee haan, jo goli Hiba ko lagi vo Tanveer ne chalayi thi Razia ke kehne par aur yehi nahi, isse pehle Dilshad par bhi goli Razia ne hi chalvayi thi, kyunki Dilshad uss gudiya ka raaz jan chuki thi, phir Firoz jiske hath original chip laga, Inspector Sharma jihone dubara iss gudiya factory ke case khola, aur aise uske jurm ke kisse bad the hi gaye, aur main sirf dekhta reh gaya, aur jab usne apni hi beti ki qatl ko apne faydaa ke liye istemaal kiya, tab ek baap chup na reh saka, aur maine faisla kar liya ki main gudiya factory ke mamle gavahi doonga aur Razia ko uski jurm ko sazaa dilaunga, Judge saab main bhi gunahgaar hoon sazaa tho muje bhi hona chahiye, jitna jurm Razia ne kiya hai, main sse khamoshi se saath dekar, utna hi jurm kiya hai jurm ko chupana bhi jurm hota hai.".
PP asked "tho vo aurat koun thi jiska qatl Razia ne kiya aur kyun kiya, aur gudiya factory main hi kyun kiya. Koi jawab hai iss sawal ka apke paas" Gaffur "jee main yeh tho nahi janta ki vo aurat kon thi, aur Razia ne usse kyun mara, aur Gudiya factory ka hi jagah kyun chuna, yeh thi apko behtar Razia hi bata sakthi hai" PP again asked "uss chip main do awazein hai, kya vo apke aur Razia ke hai?" Gaffur "jee haan vo hum dono ki awaz hai" PP turned to Razia "mohotarma apto bohot puhunche huye khiladi maloom hoti hai, ab yeh bhi batai dejiye ki apen uss aurat ka qatl kyun kiya, aur gudiya factory main hi kyun kiya" Razia saw that all her games are over and now Gaffur has turned tables on her, but she was confused why Gaffur didnt tell about Zoya's mother and turned all the questions towards her after all the gudiya factory fiasco happened due to Zoyas mother only, Tanveer at this time nudged her and said "Razia bi yahan se bachne ka koi rasta sochiye, jurm qubool karne ki nahi" and Tanveer sprung ahead and drew the gun from the constable's belt and kept him at point blank. She threatened that if they weren't allowed to escape they will shoot the poor constable.
Everybody was suddenly baffled at Tanveers attempt. Razia saw this opportunity to escape along with Tanveer, she didnt wait to give more evidence but was more interested in escaping now. The both moved with the poor constable at gun point. Asad, Zoya, Dilshad, Humera, Nikhat, Nuzzat everybody was in turn telling them that they can't escape from law and punishment. But they gave a damn to everybody's advice and were moving on to the door. Suddenly Razia pushed away that fragile constable and grabbed Aftab who was in Zeenat's arms and said that Aftab will be a better choice than that constable, they can escape easily as Aftab was easily to handle. Zeenat fainted seeing this after some shouting, Zoya too was yelling and shrieking but was arrested by Asad's strong arms preventing her from moving further otherwise it Aftab's life will be in danger. Anwar was holding a unconscious Zeenat and didnt know what to do, he was totally taken aback at the sudden turn of events. Gaffur seeing all this, shouted "Razia apne gunhon ka yeh silsila rok do, varna bohot der na hojaye" But she laughed maniacly at Gaffur, main kabhi nahi har sakti Siddique Saab, kabhi nahi, saying this she was going to go out. Gaffur withdrew the gun of his police office standing beside him and shot Razia right on her head. Raiza dropped down dead. Gaffur dropped the gun and said "jab kutta pagal hojata hai, tho usse goli marne me hi samaj ki behtari hai." And Aftab was safely taken back. Anwar breathe a sigh of relief. Eveybody tended to a crying and whining Aftab.
By the time Tanveer escaped from the venue and disappeared into the crowd. Police was soon behind her. She was trapped at a bridge from both sides in order to prevent from running. Tanveer saw that all chances of escape have been closed. She looked both sides and saw police standing and announcing with a mike asking her to surrender otherwise she wil be shot at the spot. Suddenly Tanveer climbed the bridge and jumped into the river. Since water had strong currents soon her body was taken away by the flow of water and police shot at her from the bridge but couldn't do anything about it more.
Gaffur was sentenced to 7 years jail for suppression of evidence and as accomplice in Razia's crimes and also for Razia's murder. The only person who came to meet Gaffur was Badi bi before taking to jail. "siddique saab apne bataya kyun nahi ki vo aurat jiska qatl Razia ne kiya tha vo Zoya ki ammi aur apki pehli biwi hai" Gaffur "Kiss mooh se kehta Badi bi, ki main uska kamina baap hoon, jisne uski ammi ko dhoka diya aur jab vo zoya ke saath muje doodne ayi tho, maine usse apnane se inkar kar diya, aur uski ammi ki qatl main ek khamosh gavah banke 17 saal se samaj main izaat ki zindagi guzar raha hoon, muje ab usse beti ki nafrat sehne ki himmat nahi hai, usse isse khush faymi main rehne dijiye ki uska abbu abhi bhi kahin duniya main hai aur usse bichad gaya hai, meri bachi ka dil tho nahi tootega, ek baap hone ken ate maine koi farz nahi nibhaya, lekin ek ab ek ache insaan hone ka farz nibhana chahta hoon, Badi bi ab mujse vada kijiye ki aap Zoya ko kabhi iss baat ka pata nahi lagne dengi ki main uska badnazeeb baap hoon, issi main hi uski bhalayi, aap vada kijiye badi bi" Badi bi promised and Gaffur went away. Badi bi "aaj maine phirse ek baap ko jagte huye dekha hai, lekin vo baap jo apni ek beti ko beti nahi keh sakta, aur jisne beti kehna chahta tha usse keh nayi paya, aur jisko beti ka pyaar diya, usse aaj baap ki qadr nahi hai, taqdeer pata nahi kaise khel khelti hai, aaj mere Rashid ko insaaf mila, vo begunah aur bekasur nikla, Allah ka lakh lakh shukr hai"
Asad House
Everybody returned to house,it was like they all were awakened from a nightmare. Zeenat was holding Aftab so tightly and Anwar was besides her pacifying her. Zoya was now at peace that finally her mother got justice. Asad who had misunderstood his father all these 17 years now understood his situation clearly, any family person would have done what his father had done, given the circumstances. Rashid never let go of this first family but he married Shirin to save her from society's taunts and to give her child Ayan a legitimacy in front of the society in return of the favour done by Shirin's father on him. Rashid never agreed for a second marriage in the first place, he did it out of selflessness and because of his good nature. Ayan was not his brother related by blood but did that matter to Asad. Well in fact the answer was a big no. Ayan was always close to Asad's heart from childhood. Their bonding had surpassed all the levels even the hatred which Asad had had for his father, irrespective of that he loved Ayan so much. Now even after knowing that he was not related to him by blood it didnt pain him or never did he repent being a big brother to him. Nuzzat and Nikhat was also having the same mindset. What if Ayan is not related to them by blood, but he always was there as a big brother to them. The bond all siblings shared was immense that even after knowing the truth of Ayan nobody was feeling low and pained. They were all happy that everything was sorted out. The only person who felt lonely was Dilshad today. She really wished that Rashid was here today. A man who was forced to leave them on the roads for preventing them from being stamped as the family of a murderer. Dilshad never asked any explanation from Rashid why he left her but always had a soft place for him in her heart. All these years, she burned the midnight oil to give Asad and Najma a normal life but what if Rashid was framed for a murder, they would have been whole life taunted by the society to be a murderer's family, Asad and Najma would have been stamped as murderer's children and they would have been treated as an outcast. She couldn't think of such a situation. She went to her room and opened the cupboard and took the file which Rashid had given her before her shooting incident. Rashid had invested some property in Najma and Asad's name thought he couldn't openly support them in front of the society. Dilshad remembering Rashid saying "yeh meri taraf se Najma ke nikah ke liye, ek baap bankar main uske sar par haath nahi rakh saka, lekin uska Nikah main koi kami nahi rehni chahiye, aur yeh Asad ke naam kuch properties hai, muje pata hai ki Asad yeh kabhi nahi apna yega, lekin phir bhi ek baao hone ke naathe, mujse jitna hosaka, maine kiya hai, isse sambhal kar rakhna Dilshad" Flash back ends. Dilshad "kash aaj yahan aap hote Rashid, itni saal se apke liye jo nafrat vo pyar main badal ne ka waqt agaya hai, aur aap yahan nahi hai, apni iss parivar ko dekhne"
Jail room
Gaffur now opened the music ball and heard the music and saw the couple dancing and remembered all the moments he shared with Zoyas mom Zainab. "Muje maaf kardo Zainab, maine tumhari mohabbat ki touheen ki hai, aur tumhe dhoka diya hai, aur shayad issliye aaj meri yeh halat hai." "Zoya tum jahan raho khush raho, abad raho, main hamesha dua karunga ki tumhari zindagi der sari khushiyon se bhar jaye aur tum ek khushal zindagi jeeyo, ek bekar aur kayar baap isse zyadaa aur kuch nahi kar sakta, muje maaf kardo Zoya, muje maaf kardo". He closed the music ball and lied down in the chilly floor after offering his prayers.
Next day morning at Asads house
Zoya's shayari was back with a bang to uplift everybody's mood. Asad's iiritation was back at hearing it. Najma's cute rolling of eyes was back. Nuzzat was also in good mood and Nikhat was also feeling better. Dilshad felt a bit low but seeing the whole family happy she too felt happy for them and smiled at them. Asad was going to office after a long time after his accident. And Zoya was in the washroom. Zoya came out and saw Asad confused in choosing a tie. Zoya chose a blue tie and even tied it for him. Asad had pulled Zoya close to him by her waist and she was enjoying Asad's proximity too. She was smiling and showing her dimples which always tempted Asad to kiss her. Asad kissed her cheeks and said he will be back soon in the evening. Zoya nodded.
After a while
The doorbell rang. Zoya opened the door to find Haider, Asad's physio. Zoya "jee aap aur yahan" Haider sheepishly replied that "vo Asad se milne aya tha" Zoya "lekin apne kaha tha ki aap patients ghar par nahi jate hai tho ab kya hua" Haider "jee Asad bohot special hai" Zoya "par lekin vo tho aaj office chale gaye" Haider "what, I had told him to run office from house not to go to office and strain himself, you know stress is also not good for him" But Zoya was not understanding why Haider was getting hyper on Asad office going. She replied "if you can give him persmission to drive a car why cant he go to office, his office is one of the luxurious places in whole Bhopal city may be more than you clinic, you should visit his office sometime, I bet you will take your words back" Haider "okay Mrs.Khan I surrender, I know I m not going to win over you in talking" Zoya"whatever" rolling her eyes. Haider "kya aap muje yahan darvaze par hi khada karengi yah phir andhar bhi bulayengi" By this time Najma was passing along and saw Haider at the door. Najma squealed "Haider, aap yahan achanak, maine tho vo dusra book kal dene ki liye kaha tha, aaj nahi" Zoya was confused "how does Najma know Haider?" Zoya "wait, Tamatar, tum Haider ko kaise janti ho?" Najma stuck her tongue out for blurting everything and she knew that Zoya wont leave her unless she tells her the whole saga. She welcomed Haider and offered tea for him. Zoya was dumbstuck at Najma's over the board sweet behaviour towards Haider. She smelled definintely something fishy. She lingered around them to see what they were talking but found that Najma was asking doubts for her entrance regarding some subjects. After Haider went Zoya came inside Najma's room and stood with hands on her hips like "what was going on outside tell me soon". Najma started her point of view,how she first saw haider and went to his house for a book which she needed and she confessed that she liked him. Zoya was open mouthed "bhaijaan ko pata hai?" Najma "nahi, yahan tho muje apki help chahiye, unhe convince karne ke liye" Zoya again "does Haider know that you like him" Najma "I haven't told him anything yet, I don't know what he feels for me, I mean whether he likes me as a friend or is it something more" Zoya said " don't worry, isse baat pe ek sher arz kiya hai" Najma "no" Zoya "oh yes, if you want me to help you then you have to praise my shayari, chalo irshad bolo" Najma unmwillingly "irshad" Zoya "lagta hai Miss Tamater ko hogya hai pyar, lagta hai Miss Tamaterko hogya hai pyar,vo bhi ek physio Haider se jiska height 5 foot aur inche hai chaar" Najma's jaw dropped at hearing her lame shayari and said "Zoya ab muje wah wah kehne par majboor mat kijijye main nahi keh paungi" Zoya pouted.
In the evening at Asad's house
Asad returned quite early from his work. He was damn tired. It was after a long gap he was seen in office, everybody welcome him with flowers and bouquets and enquired about his health. Half of the time went like that and the rest was engaged in some important pending meetings. He loosened his tie and unbuttoned his first two buttons. He removed the coat and called for Zoya. "Zoya kahan hai aap, ek coffee milega please" He got Zoya's answer "haan arahi hoon" from somewhere. Asad went to their room and went to freshen up. Asad came out wearing a towel only. When he came out he saw Zoya coming into the room with a tray of coffee and some snacks. She placed it on the tea poy and asked "Asad aaj ka apka din kaisa tha, I meant itne dino ke baad aap office gaye" Asad "hmm , thoda hectic tha, lekin sab khush the muje vapis dekh kar" Zoya "acha hua" Asad "aap vapis apni job par kab join kar rahi hai?" Zoya "vo maine actually ek fixed date nahi socha hai, but I will soon" Zoya was taking out tea shirt and track pants for him to wear and gave him. "Asad muje apse kuch baat karni thi, important hai" Asad "boliye, main sun raha hoon" he was changing into his clothes and Zoya was keeping his lappy bag and his rest of the clothes in place.
