PROLOGUE
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the Title was the utterly beautiful song by Ryan Adams and One Tree Hill and how freaking much I miss it! So yeah, you pretty much owned my heart with just the Title. :')
Coming to the story. *scratches head* Where do I start from? Man, I've never faced such a serious case of loss-of-words quite like this. Nothing I pull out from this limited vocabulary of mine will do enough justice to your writing.
"So you come to me when the stars go blue."
The impact of this line cannot be described in words. It has got traces of longing and subtle mystery weaved in and is making me CRAZY to just get to you and make you spill the entire story. You know, I'm the kind of idiot who craves nothing more than mystery novels but skims through the pages just to know what the end story is. Patience has never quite been my best friend. 😛
But damn. Its not a novel I can have my way with. You're going to torture me slowly, aren't you? But its okay. Because the wait comes with a dosage of your ingenious writing. 😳
CHAPTER ONE

She was just another happy girl in another happy world until her family, her life was snatched away from her in a car accident when she was eleven.
So I had this little smile plastered across my face till I came to this line. And then BAM. You wiped it right off. The fault in one's stars logic fit perfectly. Family is the only permanent aspect in this otherwise transient life. Having that snatched away was bound to shrink her emotionally.
While Sanyukta's backstory was palpable, Randhir's just left this gaping hole in my heart. Poverty, sexual assault and absence of schooling are all devils no child should have the misfortune to encounter. To face them all together and the indefinite repercussions they are bound to leave is just...beyond my brain's capability to comprehend. They way you dished it out, dropping one bomb after the other, just about managed to strike all those emblematic heart strings out there. I'm stumped. I'm tormented. I'm happy. I'm teary. In all the good ways. And I just CAN'T wait to know their story. Two unfortunate characters having warred with demons of their own and yet so realistic that you can't help but relate to them.
I can officially say this is the one story I'm going to await the most.
Didn't make much sense, did I? No surprises there. I was supposed to be reading Maxwell's Velocity Distribution but where am I? I blame your choice of title. 😳
