Last part. My first ever complete SS/FF and it is such a good feeling. I'll finally be able to put complete up in that title. Ahhh. :') Thank you everyone for the support. SS of the week tak mila and it wasn't possible without you guys. <3 Mirror, this is you and pure you. <33 And thank you Sanch, Arohi and all others! <3
Burning: Part 8
"You, what?" he spit out the coke and asked with a bewildered look. "What kind of a joke is this Agarwal?"
"Just for the record, this is not a joke so don't go around spreading this news. I have no intentions of becoming the laughing stock of the college." She said and then called out at the bushes, "Let's go Kaustuki." On receiving no reply, she went and peeped in to discover that her best friend had apparently disappeared on Randhir's arrival.
"So, love?" he said, pulling her by the arm.
"Randhir, what are you doing?" she stuttered and tried to free her arm from his.
"This." He said and leaned in, kissing her softly, unlike the time before.
"In case you're still in your farzi mode, I love you too Farzi." He told her and this time, it was she who initiated the kiss.
2 years later. The day of the graduation:
"Randhir, we did it. We actually got through 4 years of college with Vardhan sir always making us do tasks. I cannot even imagine what we were like two years ago, always pulling each other's hair and ready to burn each other.
"You know you loved me back then as well Agarwal," he teased her and winked at her.
"Sanyukta?" she heard someone call out and turned to see her father calling her sweetly for the first time in over four years.
"Papa, you are here?" she stammered and stuttered, completely not knowing what to say. She couldn't make the head, or tail of it and was completely knocked off her feet. She looked at Randhir and saw him giving her a bright smile. She finally understood he did this.
Without any more words, her father gave her a hug while her mother wiped her own tears. Her father then explained what Randhir did and Sanyukta never felt more proud of her choices than she did at that moment.
The time for the graduation was nearing and Sanyukta took her seat in the front row, her surname starting with A' while Randhir was in the end with S'. After a long graduation ceremony, at least it seemed so, they announced the class of 2015 were all officially engineers and all caps were thrown in the air, except for two.
Those two caps were helping in covering the kiss Sanyukta was giving Randhir as a thank you for bringing her father on this special day.
And it all began with a burning passion for machines. Who would have thought?
And that's it. Over. Done.
Also, did anyone notice that every part had something related to burning? 😛

Aww and double Aww man He called her parents <3 And the best part: the reunion ⭐️ So sweet that was! Fyi, even I have my doubts how they'd manage to complete their degree with Vardaan's whimsical timings, except they're brilliant so it's not a problem 😆 AND THE LAST LINE <3 You gotta love it when the last line is just that beautiful <3 Par your update's beautiful upar se neeche tak so the last line's the absolute perfect ending 😳
What can I say? It's a beautiful story <3 It's fun, it's crisp, it's ☺️ (just go with whatever word suits :P) and even though I'd like to say I'm not exactly happy with it ending after 8 parts, kheecha taani se it ruins the crispness .. bole toh .. karakpan 😆
