Chapter 1: The burning hot lights flashed through the club. The music was loud enough to make somebody deaf. It looked like people were dressed in rags rather clothes. Bodies were glued to each other, sweat in an air conditioned room mixed with the others, breaths full of alcohol mingled with each other. Some people were half naked, some were vomiting while the others were busy sucking faces.
Among all this, at one corner of the club, the VIP corner to be precise chanted only one word. "Reyaansh! Reyaansh! Reyaansh! Reyaansh!" As India's most eligible bachelor drank his seventh shot of tequila, and still counting. The chanting just kept on increasing, as the prince of steel never showed a sign of giving up. His opponent still stuck in the fourth shot. Rey smirked as he saw his clean victory.
"AND TEN!" The bartender shouted, declaring the winner. Reyaansh Singhania.
The hoots and chants increased once the crowd heard the obvious winner's name. Rey turned around with the killer smile and raised his hand, silencing the whole club. Even the DJ lowered the volume of music. Swayam, the best friend, shook his head giving that goofy grin at his best friends antics. Rey had power and he knew how to use it. And he loved the power he beheld.
"Today's liquor is on me, people! Enjoy how much ever you want! DJ!" And those words were enough to make the crowd wild again. The music was turned to the highest and the chanting resumed.
Reyaansh walked to the center of the dance floor, girls clinging on him like leeches and boys trying to copy his every move. But the whole worlds knows, there has always been just one Reyaansh Singhania. Rey surely enjoyed his company, no doubt. He looked up for a while and saw Swayam holding his phone high in air and nothing something. Rey untangled the girls arms around his neck and marched towards the clubs exit, indicating Swayam to do the same.
As Rey was about the exit the place, a person approached him. "Sir, is everything okay? Did we do something wrong that you are leaving so early?" Well, the person was the club's manager.
Rey chuckled and replied. "Mr. Mehta. I am going to attend a call and be back. Don't worry the club's bill is going to be paid by me today. I'm not running away." The manager moved back, ashamed for his actions.
When they reached out. Swayam screamed. "Uncle!" And Rey's eyes widened. He quickly snatched the device and called his father. "Dad!" He said as soon as the person on the other line responded.
"Yes dad I'm having my bachelor party." He sighed as he heard sighs of disappointment on the other end.
"Dad, we've talked about this. Ab mujhe apni aazadi enjoy karne dijiye. Please?" He replied.
"Okay then bye!" He sighed in relief as he cut the call.
"Tu nahi sudhrega." Swayam said, smiling at him.
"Sudharne ke liye thodi na bigda tha." They laughed and walked back into the club.
_______
"Kriya come on!" Sharon yelled as she tried to pull Kriya out of the parking lot.
"Sharon, I'm not sure about this." She kept trying to resist.
"What are you? Fifteen?" Sharon asked and Kriya rolled her eyes.
"Okay, fine." Kriya straightened herself up and walked towards the entrance. The security guard literally had his eyes out of his sockets looking at the semi celebs in front of him. Looking at the four richest heirs of India in one day was like a dream come true.
They were allowed inside without any ID proof, of course. Sharon was sure the manager of this club would have the highest pay of his life for today. While Kriya just hoped that none of this will get her into any kind of trouble. Nervous, Kriya entered into the place where people unleash the devil inside them. And somewhere, Kriya knew she wasn't ready, neither to face her devils nor to see anybody do it. But still she entered the place she could relate to hell.
As she stepped in, she felt something, oh yes, nausea. That was the only feeling which washed over her. The people grinding against each other with almost no clothes made her want to vomit. She was nauseated by every bit of this place and it truly did seem like hell, the loudness, people a.k.a devils and the alcohol. It was too weird for Kriya, she had never seen such a huge crowd together, that too acting like maniacs.
In no time, Sharon tugged her towards the bartender. Kriya wanted to go home that instant, who will ever want to stay at such a place. "Two tequila shots." She ordered. Sharon gave her a its-okay-I'm-here look and Kriya tried to calm down. As soon as the shots arrived, Sharon made an excuse to go somewhere, "I want you to finish this, until I come back." She said. Kriya didn't want her to go. She didn't want to be alone in this hellhole. She was relieved when she saw her other friends enter though those huge double doors.
She turned towards the glasses, those tiny glasses were very cute but the amber liquid inside it sent shivers down Kriya's spine. "First time?" She heard somebody speak. She immediately turned and looked at the person. Kriya was sure she had seen this person somewhere, but she plainly ignored it.
"Rey." He said and extended his hand for a handshake.
"Kriya." She replied and looked at the other side.
"So Kriya? You're scared?" He asked, making Kriya's eyes go wide. She slightly nodded her head and in return Rey gave her a goofy grin.
"Close your eyes." He said.
"Excuse me?" Kriya asked with a jolt.
"Come on." He insisted.
Kriya hesitated but closed her eyes anyway. "Drink." She heard a voice and in a swift second she placed the traditional glass between her lips and sipped the whole content at once. She gagged once the burning liquid made its way to her stomach.
"Good. Now come on." Rey held her hand and dragged her to the dance floor. He stood right behind her and held her sides. He placed his lips on her ear and almost shouted over the music. "Think that there is no one here and dance, enjoy, live as much as you want to."
Kriya wasn't tipsy yet. She was sure about that, her head felt heavy but she wasn't totally intoxicated, she was sure. But Rey's words made an impact on her and it made an impact very deep. She let loose, she danced as much as she wanted to, her hair were bouncing in the air and that smile on her face was plastered though out.
Rey looked at the girl in front of him, one word, hawt! That was enough to describe her. He was sure he met her somewhere, or at least has seen her, but he just couldn't remember. The most unbelievable thing about this girl was, she wasn't totally under the grasp of alcohol, but yet she jumped high in air with those 6 inches. The thought of them breaking just made him whisper "ouch."
Those eyes were hypnotic, but Rey knew how to resist those, her figure, seductive, Rey would give her the title of the world's best body, if he could. But her smile, the careless smile and those pink lips, just made him want her. And he couldn't resist anymore. He pulled her towards himself, and Kriya placed her palms on his shoulders, staring at him in disbelief.
Rey was about to capture her lips in his, when, Kriya pushed him. Normally, he wouldn't budge but he was too engrossed in the moment that he actually stumbled. He was about to pull her back to him and make her do what he wanted bit a voice stopped him.
"Rey!" Swayam shouted in his ear. "They're calling you home right now. That girl is making some issues yet again." Rey sighed when Swayam used that term again, he knew that he didn't like her but he could at least take her name.
"Let's leave, and that girl has a name, and it's Taani." Rey said and Swayam just shrugged it off in the most careless way he could pull. Rey turned around once to bid Kriya goodbye, but he couldn't find her, she just vanished.
