Heyyy waiting for you to continue the story.. plsss..
AN: Hey guys! So I started this another story. This story would be about certain events. Like episodes, because I don't really know much about pregnancy (I'm just 15). Plus it would be really awkward if I ask someone if it was painful or how it feels during pregnancy or blah blah. Actually I did try asking my mother and my cousin but that conversation took another trail and a lot of (A LOT OF) weird questions were unfolded. I'm not gonna take that risk of asking ever again. Ok I won't bore u with my boring author's note anymore. Happy Reading! (unedited chapter)
Beautiful Mistake
Chapter 1: The one with the guessing.
"Sanyu?" Kaustuki's disturbed voice made sanyukta panic even more.
She was pretty sure she was going to puke. Bile rose at the back of her throat but she forced herself to stay put.
Please don't let it be positive. Please don't let it be positive, She begged. Please...
"Its positive."
Sanyukta started feeling dizzy the moment she heard the word positive.' Her head was spinning and her hand shaking like Jurassic park. She started sweating and her heart rate shot up. She knew she was having a panic attack and it was scary as hell. She rushed to the washroom and every thing she ate in the past 5 hours came right back out and she vomited for the third time that day.
Kaustuki came running and hugged her from behind, rubbing her back.
After she was done throwing up which seemed like forever, Sanyukta collapsed on the floor crying heavily.
Sanyukta always wanted to be a mother. She had always liked babies and their cute face and small feet and hands. Well who doesn't? But she wasn't ready now. She's too young to have a child or to carry a responsibility of a mother.
"Its okay" Kaustuki whimpered trying to console her best friend but she was the verge of breaking down too. "Its ok. Everything is going to be okay."
Next Day:
The sun had completed its tour for the day, and had now been replaced by myriad stars, which dotted the inky canopy. It was a cool, windy night; the swaying of trees and rustling of leaves could be heard but not seen, as the encircling darkness had blotted out all but the faintest light. It had been a days since Sanyukta found out she was pregnant.
The two friends were now sitting outside the girls hostel reading pregnancy books with the help of a dim street light, a pile of pregnancy books lying beside them.
The pregnant woman looked calm and collected from the outside but only she knew what she was going through from the inside.
"Wow being pregnant is too much work." Kaustuki groaned closing the book she was reading. It had everything to do with changes that occur during pregnancy and the results were horrifying.
Sanyukta chuckled taking the book from Kaustuki. "I know. Thanks for helping me with everything though."
She started flipping through the pages and saw a woman with a large belly. Oh god, she thought. I'm going to look like that in a few months. And every part of my body is gonna swell up like a balloon. Imaging how she will look like in few months, sanyukta shuddered.
Kaustuki noticed it and sighed "Are you sure you want this baby?" She asked placing her hand on her shoulder. The gesture clearly said, I'll be here no matter what your decision will be.
Sanyukta placed her hand on her flat belly and smiled but it dint reach her eyes. "I can't kill it no can I?"
It was a tough decision for her and it took a day for her to decide whether she wanted the baby or not. In the end, she came to a decision. She knew what will happen when people will find out or how they will react. She'll be an object of mockery now, but she dint care. Because she knew she was in love with the baby already.
They were busy reading when Kaustuki laughed unexpectedly and pointed at a passage from the book. "Did u know if it's a boy, it can get erection in your womb?"
"Kaustuki!" Sanyukta laughed at her insane friend.
"And do you know at least 50% of women experience back pain during pregnancy!" Kaustuki read while Sanyukta glared at her, "you know" She said, "You are doing a good job making me feel good about the whole pregnancy thing." But Kaustuki, ignoring Sanyukta's remark, kept reading, "Feet will get bigger towards the end of the pregnancy. This occurs because of swelling and the pregnancy hormone-!"
"Ok that's it" Sanyukta said hitting kaustuki with the book she was reading and snatching the book away from her.
Kaustuki yawned, picking another book. "Can you please tell me who the father is now?" She asked with a glint of irritation in her voice. It had been a day and yet sanyukta dint tell her who the father was. It made her curious even more.
Shaking her head, sanyukta replied in a small tone. "I'm not ready yet. Please try to understand? I will tell you but not now."
Kaustuki wanted to know badly but she knew it was no use to force sanyu to tell her something she doesn't want to, because she wont. So there's only option left: Guessing.
"I do." Kaustuki said with a warm smile trying to reduce the tension and started flipping through the pages again, pretending to read while her mind was wandering off trying to figure out who possibly can be the father. Then it hit her and her eyes widened.
"Oh my god its him!" She screamed jolting up from the bench.
Sanyukta, who was lost deep in her thoughts thinking how large possibly her belly will be in a few months, anxiously stood up screaming as well, "what? what? Who? Where!?" She started looking here and there to see who kaustuki was referring to or what she was referring to.
Kaustuki rolled her eyes at her sudden outburst. "I mean I know who the father is."
Sanyukta froze. How did she figure out? It was impossible for her or for anyone to possibly even guess who the father can be.
"Really?" Sanyukta said scratching her head. "Who?"
Kaustuki gave her an isn't it obvious' look.
Is it? She thought.
"I can't believe it's him!" Kaustuki exclaimed and Sanyukta gave her a confused look. "Actually" Kaustuki added after a min, "you guys are really good friend. So yeah I can"
Sanyukta scoffed sitting down again. They were anything but friends. They fight all the time. They hate each other so much that that they can rip each other's head off if they get a opportunity.
"Ah..." Kaustuki said absentmindedly "You, your baby and Parth. A cute family"
Sanyukta stood up astounded. "No!" She bawled. "No no no it's not Parth's!"
Kaustuki held Sanyukta's hand and made her sit again. "Yes yes yes it is his"
"Its not's Parth" Sanyukta defended, standing up again.
"Why isn't it Parth's?" Kaustuki demanded standing up as well.
"Its not Parth's because its Randhir's!"
Thud! The falling of tools is what made both the girls freeze. Their eyes widened as they realized they weren't holding anything.
"Please tell me there's a big foot behind us" Sanyukta pleaded, her eyes closed, refusing to turn around.
"No its not." Kaustuki whispered and they both turned slowly in order to see who it was.
AN: OK I admit this chap was boring. I promise I'll try to make the chapters from now on more interesting.
