Chapter 2: The one with the crazy talks. (Unedited chapter)
Did you ever get the feeling when you tilt your chair too far back? That mini heart attack where you feel like you are gonna die in the next 5 seconds? Well that's what Sanyukta felt hearing the thud sound.
Parth stood there his eyes wide. He was rooted in his place as in some paranormal power from behind was holding him back.
"Great!" Sanyukta said sarcastically throwing her hands up. This day couldn't get better now can it?
Parth, finally released from the supernatural power, walked up to her, render speechless. His eyes still wide. He just stared at her as in trying to figure out if she was lying and this was just a stupid shaggy- dog story.
"You are pregnant!" He practically screamed after realizing this was no joke, and her friend was indeed pregnant.
"With Randhir's baby..." Kaustuki added and then her eyes widened too as she just realized something. "Randhir's?!" she demanded.
Sanyukta was just standing there, thunderstruck. She dint knew how to respond. She just wanted the time to stand still until she comes up with some good come back. This was unexpected and she was far from ready to tell anyone about it. Her two besties, bashing on her like that made her stomach roll.
"You cant be pregnant!" Parth hissed in a dangerously low voice at the same time kaustuki yelled, "Not Randhir's. Out of all people, why him?!"
Sanyukta covered her ears cursing god for the great timing. Not. Why did Parth have to come out at this hour of darkness and why did she blurt out Randhir's name. She was going to tell her eventually, when the time was right.
"When did that happen? How did that happen?" Both bawled again ignoring the fact that Sanyukta's eyes and ears were closed and she wasn't listening anymore.
"No!" Parth cried, sitting down trying to calm himself but then stood up again.
"Why is everyone missing the Randhir part?" Kaustuki gasped and pointed towards Sanyukta's belly. "It's another Randhir inside her! There will be two of them! The humankind is coming to an end!"
Sanyukta looked at her two friends dramatically. She was boiling as well. She is pregnant and she deserved special treatment instead all she's receiving is yelling's.
"God! One shocker at a time please!" She murmured to herself and turned towards Parth, "Yes m pregnant. Deal with it! If u can't, then back off buddy" She snapped and then turned to face kaustuki, "yes its Randhir's! At least thank god that our baby will have both- beauty and the brain!"
Without another word, she stormed off, angrily, leaving both her friends full of uncertainties.

A loud piercing stream of light exploded in her face, blinded by its brightness. Feeling disgruntled with her sleep, Sanyukta moaned for more sleep, but the devilish light of the sun dint let her. She tried to open her eyes, adjusting to the dim bedroom light.
"What the-!" Sanyukta jumped seeing kaustuki standing in front of her with a goofy smile on her face and placed her hand on her heart to stop it from beating in an irregular manner. What now, she thought.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Sanyukta demanded, sitting up, her voice croaky.
"Just watching you sleep" Kaustuki grinned.
Sanyukta gave her a sly look. "Don't do that. It's creepy"
She glanced at the clock and saw it was 7:15 AM. She just wanted to go back to sleep and dream about babies.
"I brought coffee for you" Kaustuki said handing the mug to Sanyukta as she sat on her bed beside her.
Sanyukta inhaled the fresh aroma of the coffee, a smile forming on her lips.
"So..." Kaustuki said trying to make a conversation. "How was it?"
"How was what?" Sanyukta asked taking a sip.
"The night with Randhir!"
Sanyukta chocked and started coughing. "What?!" She snarled, "That's the first thing you wanna talk about? No hello or good morning or how I'm feeling?"
"Tell me!" Kaustuki pleaded, "Is he good in bed?"
Sanyukta was blushing red and flashbacks of the nights came back to her.
Kaustuki took her reddened face as a sign yes' and exclaimed, "Wow so he's that good?!"
Sanyukta placed the mug on the table, afraid it might spill on her bed, her face still reddened. "You know, "She said firmly, although her voice betrayed her with its deep, raspy, just-woke-up-mess, "I don't want to have this conversation anymore. I'll pretend this conversation between us" She gestured towards them, "never happened."
Kaustuki made a face but then nodded. Sanyukta was racking her brain for a new topic to clean the air, but Kaustuki spoke before she could think of anything remotely plausible. "Was he tender? Is he a good lover?"
Sanyukta's cheeks were set on fire now. She tried hiding her face behind her black hairs in order to hide her flaming red cheeks but Kaustuki's constant glare made it red even more. She scrambled out of the bed, loped across the room, and shut herself in the washroom ignoring Kaustuki's pleading.
Kaustuki gave a relenting sigh and tapped the door of the washroom.
"What?!" Sanyukta yelled partly because she was annoyed and it was hard to listen through the running water.
"We gotta talk!" Kaustuki said softly at first but then repeated more loudly realizing Sanyukta won't be able to hear."We gotta talk, about what we are gonna do with the baby, its future, and its name!"
Sanyukta opened the door slightly and said, "Sorry, are you the father?" and closed the door with a thud on Kaustuki's face.

"Guess what?"
Sanyukta practically jumped at the voice hitting her knee with the table in the process. "Ok people gotta stop startling me today!" She said rubbing her knees.
She was sitting in the cafeteria drinking her cold drink, her head buried in the book. But her mind was wandering someplace else. She was still thinking about the whole fat belly thing. God knows when she will get over with it.
"Sorry." Parth apologized taking a seat beside her. "But I looked at some classes for pregnancy and I think-"
"Wait wait wait" Sanyukta said cutting him off. "Classes? Parth it's sweet but it's only been 3 days. It's not a big deal."
Parth laughed, but when she dint join in, he nudged her shoulder." You are not freaking out? No worrying about what's gonna happen? How?"
Sanyukta heaved a sigh and placed her hand on Parth's. "I'm. But I have to be strong. Life is all about risks and having fun! I can't keep worrying about what might happen. If I did then the output won't be good. I have to be strong, for me and my baby."
Parth nodded comprehending what she said was spot on. He stood up and hugged her. "I'll be here not matter what you know that right?"
Sanyukta nodded and pulled away, smiling. It feels good to know that someone will be out there no matter what.
"So when will you tell him?" Parth asked taking the soda can from Sanyukta and taking a seat again.
"Who and what?" She asked confused.
"Randhir" Parth said in a matter of fact tone.
Oh my god. Her beautiful moments with her friend made her totally forget about Randhir. How is she supposed to tell that devil? That was her worst nightmare. Maybe she doesn't have to, she thought.
Parth as in reading her mind inquired, "You will tell him right? It's his baby too. You have to tell him."
"Fine I'll email him." She muttere.
Parth gave her a are you serious' look. "Fine" She exhaled, "I'll text him."
"Sanyukta..." Parth said in a voice that reminded her of her dad. "Fine!" She pouted sadly, "I'll tell him tomorrow."
"Sanyukta Agrawal!"
"Fine dad chill!" Sanyukta exclaimed taking her bag. "I'm going now!"
And she headed towards the only room she knew she'll find him.
AN: Hope u guys liked it and I'm sorry if it didn't match your expectation. I dint even get the time to read what I wrote rather change it. I'm supposed to study 6 or 7 hrs a day. I don't get time to write so what the hell I just posted it.
I know you guys wanted the person to be Randhir (I wanted that too) and not Parth but that would have been expected. Plus Randhir finding out too soon? I mean it was the first chapter.
I promise the next chapter will be full of Sandhir! (Next chapter- The one where Randhir finds out.
