I read couple of comments saying the lady in the prologue might b Kushi but I was confident that it is Payal's mom (might be Garima)..but today I took some courage and reread the prologue..lady's beauty seems to b Kushi's but her nature isn't Kushi's I felt..but she is familiar with the chapel..also baby has brown eyes..am sooo confused and waiting eagerly :-)

Somehow. Sandhya, though I knew with certainty no reader should actually feel, that someone would be hurt for Arnav to be that furious, I NEVER, even once, considered it would be Anjali. That was how unexpected it was to read that it was her who is now lying on that hospital bed, fighting for her life.

Life is like this. It doesn't care that you have seen more loss in your few years than most people have in a lifetime, it doesnt care that you are the mother to a younger sister, the last thread of sanity for a younger brother, a newly wed wife, a most precious grand-daughter - Nothing. It Just allows the storms it is holding for you, take over till there is nothing left behind except prayer, hope and tears.

My heart is beating so loudly in my chest. I don't want her to die. Yes that is what I don't want. I don't want her to live a half life. Some people deserve to be happy, complete. Anjali, this family, is one of those.

Writing grief that evokes such reactions from your readers is an art. But what is even more commendable is the ability to write grief from an outsider's perspective and yet maintain the depth of the emotion while conveying desperation and dying hope that only an outsider can feel in such situations - without taking away from the sensitivity of the moment.

yes, I don't think anyone is going to be able to forget this day, after all.

Heartbreaking!

What an unfortunate turn of events. Just as Arnav's heart was healing and becoming hopeful of finding some semblance of peace and happiness. Just as he was beginning to believe in life, daring to hope that he can be dealt a fair hand by it too...sometimes.

And Khushi...to love someone wholeheartedly and give your whole self to him...mind, body soul...only to be made to feel the very next day that perhaps what she had read in his eyes was just a figment of her imagination.

Both love each other, there is no doubt about that...but Arnav will have to slay several inner demons...cross several rivers of fire flowing in his mind to be able to reach back to her.

And Khushi will get burnt...burnt badly in the process.

And what to say about Anjali? That's just life, isn't it? It has a penchant for hitting below the belt and especially when we least expect it. The overwhelming grief was so palpable, it made my throat hurt and send out a prayer for all of them. The medical part was...đŸ‘đŸŒ Nicely researched...😊

I guess the Dusk is almost upon us, isn't it?

I'm ready with my box of tissues...!
