'HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO STRONG' FF on Kriyaansh Thread 2 up

Taani: What happened to her yesterday? She was not in her usual Hitler mode. I sometimes wished if she would be like that but now when she behaved that way it is making me wonder why so.

Everyone were thinking hard as if they had to present a thesis on it and then suddenly it struck Swayam's mind.

Swayam: I know the reason behind that. (He looked at Sharon and said) today used to be Smriti Aunty's birthday.

Everyone looked at Swayam questioningly. Of course everyone knew how much she loved her mother. So they were expecting her to be excited like she was before. So her behavior seemed odd. It is when Rey spoke

Rey: Oh so she is missing Aunty. She'll probably be in New York so perhaps she must be missing to spend time with her mom. I can't help but think that it serves her right. Now she will get to know how it feels to miss someone.

Rey spit out his anger which was still very much there. This is when Swayam intervened.

Swayam: Yes Rey you are half right. She is definitely missing Smriti Aunty as a matter of fact she must have been missing her everyday but today she is missing her more than anything. You all don't know but the truth is that Smriti Aunty is no longer with her. She died in a car accident some two years back.

There was pin drop silence among the entire gang. Everyone was shocked would be understatement. The most affected was Rey not because he harbored feelings for Kria (He did but they were buried so deep that there was no way a shock like this could force them out) but because he remembered all he had said to her the day she arrived and what he said just now. The anger his face showed just a few minutes before was replaced with guilt. How much he said that she deserved this but it was all words he spit to show his anger. He not even his wildest dreams would actually have wished for that. This was noticed by all.

Rey: (Shaky voice) how can you be so sure?

Sharon: Babita Aunty told us and we also heard Kria say that she has been living alone for a while now so she can take care of herself.

Taani: She said that to you?

Swayam: No she was saying that to Chachi when she came to pick you up a few days back. I had actually forgotten that you were still in the college medical room and so I left. Kria must have checked whether I took you home or not and so when she saw you there, she called chachi to come and take you and carried you to the gate. It is when Chachi was scolding Kria for working so late and telling her that she should come with her, at that time Kria blurted that she can take care of herself.

Rey: (Guilt clearly in his voice) Guys you remember what I said to her when she came back.

Flashback

"You and be loved you are such a devil that no one should ever love you. I was punished for falling for such a heartless bitch but you don't deserve anyone, you deserve to be alone your entire life. You are a curse to anyone who knows you. I feel sorry for aunty that she has a daughter like you and it would be lucky for her if you disappear from her life or she gets a chance to disappear from yours. You know what I wish you were dead."

Rey: I said she deserves to be alone and she is, I had said it would be good if her mother could disappear from her life and she did in a way. I don't know what had gotten into me.

Seeing the desperation and guilt in his voice Taani spoke

Taani: She would not be alone. I am sure someone must be there for her.

Swayam: No Taani. She is all alone for the past two years. And I also think she might have been working to provide for herself. She had no family besides her mother and her mother has been dead for more than two years now.

Taani and all the dazzlers were shocked to the core. They all knew that Kria's lived alone with her mother but nothing else.

Simmi: What do you mean she neither has anyone from her mother's side nor from her father's side?

Neha: Her father had left Aunty when she was pregnant.

Vishakha: And she told that she never had any family members visiting her ever in her life and her mother didn't want to talk about why so she never asked.

Vicky: I didn't know that, no wonder she has such a cold heart. Should we apologize to her?

Sharon: Like she is going to accept it anyways. Its better we stay quite because she didn't take it to her heart or else we all know what happens when you said something about her mother. We should keep quite. It would be better if we don't remind anything of her mother.

Amar: But she must be missing her mom today a lot that is why she took a leave today.

Rinni: Sometimes when you look at it she probably has suffered a lot. Sometimes I feel whatever we wished for to happen with her almost everything happened. I am glad God is kind enough not to fulfill one's wish blindly or else she would have been tortured and killed.

Everyone was guilty for wishing such a thing for her at some point of time. Though it was the anger that wished such ill for her but still it was so cruel to wish such a fate for anyone.

Bharat: Now when I think I feel we are lucky not be punished by almighty for wishing such ill for someone.

Swayam: Leave it guys the best we can do is to cooperate with her and try not to hurt her. I know none of us is ready to forgive her because she had no right to hurt our feelings. But we do know she has suffered enough for her mistake and so if we can't be her friends, we can at least stop being enemies.

All agree and then they proceed for practice as they know what she would do if they do not learn what they were supposed to do

Meanwhile Kria was done crying for today. She needed someone to go to but unfortunately had no family so she decided to go the old age home which she went this Sunday to give some donation. She had spent the entire day with the nice people there and had grown close to them. So she went there and tried playing with them cheerfully. But the pain was clearly visible on her face. The eldest member of the old age home (an old lady named Shashi) asked her.

Shahi: Beta you look upset. What happened tell me beta.

Kria could not control anymore after all only two days in the entire year made her this week. One being her birthday when they were kidnapped and the other being today.

Kria: (Crying) I am missing my mother a lot. It used to be her birthday and we used to have so much fun.

She cried for a long time on her lap and soon drifted asleep. All the elders present were upset to see her this week. They had never imagined the Kria they met 3 days back could be in such a pain. The cheerful and brave girl also had her weaknesses. All sitting there were admiring the young child now sleeping peacefully in front of them. No one dared speak as they did not want to disturb their angel's sleep.

At the college after practice

Rey: Guys I don't know what to do, should we go visit granny?

The entire gang got excited and nodded and they soon left the college in their respective cars.

They reached the same old age home and rushed inside to meet everyone. They also used to visit them when they wanted to let go of some emotions. They saw all sitting in a circle staring lovingly at someone sleeping on the lap of granny. There was literally an angel in white present. The girl looked so beautiful almost heavenly, for a few minutes everyone present was mesmerized by the beauty of the girl. They could not identify her as she was covered with dupatta so mosquitoes don't disturb her sleep. But the excitement took over and Rey screamed.

Kria's look:

Rey: Hello granny. Miss me

But to her surprise everyone just shhhed them. They silently told them to come. All went near her.

Shashi: Keep it low. This girl is really upset and is sleeping so don't disturb her sleep.

Rey: who is she?

Shashi realized she never asked her name

Shashi: I don't know her name. She came this Sunday for the first time along with the children of the orphanage here. She is an angel you know. She donated 2 lakh each to both the orphanage and our old age home but more importantly she convinced both the mangers to bring the orphanage kids and visit here once in a while. How great is it? I mean we can feel livelier with those kids around and they will also be able get the love they crave so much. Isn't it a great idea?

All nodded.

Swayam: You are right to call her an angel. I mean we have been visiting since don't know when but it never came to us to try doing what she did. She is also quite brilliant.

Shashi then saw something is eating Rey up.

Shashi: Yes she is. Rey you seem upset. Why don't you come here and tell me?

Rey: No granny I am fine we can talk later, I think we should not wake her up.

Shashi smiled seeing the better side of Rey

Shashi: Anyways you can still come and sit here and don't worry, she is not going to wake up. It appears like she is sleeping with someone she feels safe with after a real long time. All of you come and settle around me.

They all settled around Shashi and Rey was sitting just beside Kria. After they all settled a breeze blew the dupatta from her face and that is when all saw Kria was the girl granny was talking about. All were shocked to see Kria for sure but seeing her like this was even shocking. One could tell that she had cried a lot and she was holding onto granny's legs like her life depended on it. It was evident she wanted someone's protection today. Shashi saw the change in the color of the faces of the gang.

Shashi: Do you know her?

Sharon: Hmm yes kind of. I mean it is very difficult to know her. She has lots of shades that confuse us.

Shashi: What are you saying?

Sharon realized what she just said so she covered up.

Sharon: I mean she is taking workshops in our college. And she is really strict and hardcore while teaching and not to forget her strong character. And now seeing her softer and vulnerable side just confused us. That's it.

Shashi: Oh! You know what, a person who seems to be really strong might actually be really weak at some other point of time. She is really sweet you know. She teaches you, so do you have someone from her family I can contact to?

Swayam: Actually granny her mother was the only family she had. She is living all alone.

Swayam told all the stuff about her father and her family he knew. All the elders felt bad for the girl. But then it struck Shashi.

Shashi: Are you sure? I mean then how did she get 4 lakhs she donated?

All thought real hard and then they realized.

Rey: May be it is from the classes she takes. Actually now when I think it is the only way she can arrange that money.

Shashi: Classes?

Taani: yes granny besides the workshops she has been taking classes and teaching students who want to learn dance. If I remember correctly she has 100 students in each batch and she charges around 5000. She had collected advance of 2000 this Saturday, so it must be that money she had donated.

Shashi: That's strange. I mean that she teaches with college and the workshops.

The gang told her the entire routine of hers which made the worry lines on the face of Shashi even more visible. All were thinking and trying to figure the girl sleeping there. It was then Rey tried getting up to go get some water when he realized Kria had clutched his elbow tightly. Shashi saw that and told Rey to come sit at her place while she goes and gets some food and water for all. Vicky and Nil got to help her and soon Amar and Bharat also accompanied them. Shashi carefully lifted her head and placed Kria's head on Rey's lap and Rey though reluctant at first allowed as he could not say no to granny and explain why. Taani felt jealous but she understood today's situation so she calmed her heart down.

It was like natural but as soon as she kept her head on Rey's lap she in her sleep she wound her hand around his waist and embraced him tightly slightly adjusting in her sleep. Rey felt her agony and wanted to hug her tight, wash away her pain and make her feel protected but the outer wall of pain and hatred was still so strong that he could not do anything of that sort. Shashi came along with other to see Kria sleeping on Rey's lap and hugging him tightly. She smiled and told Rey not to move and fed him so that Kria's sleep is not affected. Around 8.30 one of the elder told that Kria might have not eaten all day so they should wake her up and feed her as well. Shashi told Rey to wake her up.

Rey shook her but Kria responded by tightening the grip and pushing her head more into him. Rey trying to wake Kria but could not do anything so he shook her harder but nothing happened. Rey understood nothing is going to happen just by shaking her.

Rey: Kria wake up. Kria utho.

Kria was dreaming about her mother and felt Rey is her mother and started to behave how she did with her.

Kria: (still sleeping) Kya hai maa sone do na bahut neend aa rahi hai.

Rey was shocked and looked at others asking for help but all were having too much fun looking at Rey's face even Taani and the gang. After all not every time you see the great Reyaansh Singhania helpless.

Rey: Kria utho, nahi to mai

Kria: maa sone do bas paanch minute pakka.

Rey waited for a few minutes looking at all the others who were giggling looking at the situation. It was hilarious of Kria thinking Rey to be her mother. All were laughing at the confused Rey and also meanwhile adoring the cuteness of Kria they had witnessed long back.

Rey: paanch minute ho gaye ab uth jaa.

Kria: acha pehle kissi do fir hi uthungi mai

Even in sleep she was pouting like a cute baby girl. Everyone was mesmerized by her cuteness. Taani at that time felt a bit awkward at the demand just Kria made but because everyone were so busy admiring what was going on they failed to see the situation Rey was in. Even though the jealousy she had right now but could not help but feel for Kria as it was clear how much she missed her mom. Anyone could make out that she craved for love. She saw Rey looking at her and she gave a nod of approval. Rey bent and kissed her forehead.

Rey: Bas utho ab

Kria: Nahi yahan nahi, cheeks pe, nahi toh mai nahi uthungi

Rey felt helpless and did what she demanded. He kissed on her cheek. Though he dismissed the thought but he felt strange, he felt nice kissing her but awkward as well. Though he had made his mind believe it that was not the case.

Rey: Bas ab uth jaa warna

Kria didn't reply at all. She used to do this all the time after she got what she wanted she drifted back to sleep.

Rey: Kria uth yeh toh cheating hui. Chal uth

Kria: (a bit irritated) acha uthti hun

She sat up still eyes closed still holding on to Rey's arm and opened her eyes. When she opened her eyes soon realization struck her where she was and what all she had said and asked. She looked at the person she was holding on to and was shocked to see Rey who had been trying to wake her up and then realized what she had made him do. Soon her face showed signs of embarrassment and guilt. But she could not help but feel a slight happiness on thinking that he kissed her.

(I know it was a bit cheesy but wanted to write something on Kriyaansh and many of you wanted something as it is still long time till they get together. Hope it is good enough)

Kria: You guys here. What are you doing here?

Sharon: (Still giggling) Last I checked anyone can come here.

Kria: Oh yes. You are right.

There was a silence till everyone stopped giggling. Shashi then asked Kria.

Shashi: Beta did you eat from morning?

Kria: Yes granny I did eat. (Shashi had told Kria to call her granny)

Shashi: don't lie to me Kria. I know you haven't had anything.

Kria: I just didn't feel like eating.

Shashi: Come on now eat something.

Kria: No I am not hungry.

Shashi: just shut up and eat. Come here I'll feed you.

Kria knew she could not do anything and Shashi fed her food. She felt so good to eat from her hands which could be read on her face. Surprisingly she ate 5 paranthas. How long it had been since she ate such delicious paranthas. Though kaka made homemade food, but still it didn't have that Indian flavor.

Shashi: And you said you were not hungry.

The gang asked if they can have a walk and come.

Shashi: Oh yes bacho. Go and take Kria with you. It would be good for her to get some fresh air.

Kria: Oh no I am not going I came here to meet you so why should I go with them.

Shashi: Kria go and have a walk as they are your friends, I mean you have been teaching them. So go and take a walk. We can talk later and you are staying here with us today as you have a holiday tomorrow.

\\Well that was the best i could do to add some KR scene at the moment. Hope you liked it.//

I know guys you have been waiting for it for so long. And i apologize for it but i had to make sure that at least from my side I try my best to proceed without deviating from what i have been trying to build.

Chapter 17

Shashi: Kria go and have a walk as they are your friends, I mean you have been teaching them. So go and take a walk. We can talk later and you are staying here with us today as you have a holiday tomorrow.

Kria had no choice left but to accompany them. She also knew she had to face them at some time and it was better to do it now. While all that she was also thinking how to cover her slip up. She never wanted to show this side of hers and that's why she skipped school but her universe jee had some other plans. She felt helpless. But not to forget she was THE KRIA GHAI, she could do anything. If anyone could cover this slip up it was her. She knew she had to make it work. She can't risk her cover to be blown up. The last thing she wanted was her truth to be revealed. She wanted to know what all they knew. So she broke the silent that was eating everyone up.

Kria: What all do you know?

No one replied. They all were thinking what to say. Kria repeated her question and that is when Sharon spoke.

Sharon: Well we know about your mother's death. We know you have donated a large some of 2 lakhs each to the orphanage and the old age home. We know you miss her a lot and you crave for her love.

Swayam: In other words we know quite a bit. Care to explain why you behave so nice with others except us.

Kria soon made up what to say.

Kria: Don't jump around thinking I am weak. You might have seen me at my lowest but that happens only once a year. I am strong enough to walk in this world without breaking. Don't think just because you saw me breaking down, you can use it to your benefit. And answering your second question. Yes I might be behaving well with others because they are genuinely nice people unlike you guys. You all are pathetic. If you see from eyes all I see are some worthless people standing on this earth who have been bestowed upon with more than they should. You all were so full of yourself that you look down on others even if they were better and rest of you were so cowards that you didn't dare stand up in spite of having the talent to do so. I feel like vomiting seeing your faces. I don't see any reason to respect you so don't expect me to do so. And you asked why I am good to others. Well Principal Sir has done so much for all the students, he has even helped worthless crap like yourselves. So he deserves all the respect. Well I don't think I should say anything about the elders present here and the orphanage kids deserve way more than they were given. They are way more deserving than you all ever can be. So it's natural for me to be good to them. Don't think you would ever see a better side of me until you earn the right to be respected and that's a long shot. There are only two ways you can earn my respect, one is either you become better than I am or do something so good that I am forced to acknowledge your deeds. And I don't see any of the two happening.

She cursed herself for all she said to them. Everyone felt like killing the girl standing there. They felt she has no right to say all this. Who is she to decide whether they deserve to be respected? Though they knew some of the things she said were true but all had changed before she broke their hearts. Then how could she justify herself by saying this. Rey could not listen to any of this. Anger was visible on his face.

Rey: You dare not say that. When you left us all heartbroken we were changed people. We respected everyone. You can't say that we were arrogant. You know what you are the one who is too full of yourself. You are the one who doesn't deserve any love or respect. You are pathetic.

Kria acted like she was ignoring everything he said and kept doing stuff on her phone. This angered him even more. He came close to her. Took the phone from her hand and held it up high. He wanted her to listen to her. He held her hand and tightened his grip that was hurting her.

Rey: Listen to what I am saying. You have no right to ignore me.

Kria: Leave my hand or else it won't be good Mr. Singhania.

Rey: Oh really. What do you think you can do? You are nothing and I will make you listen to what all I have to say.

Kria: I don't care to listen to your useless cribbing and it's my last warning to you to leave my hand.

Rey: I won't, what would you possibly do. Scream?

All stood there dumbfounded. All were angry at her but knew Rey was pushing things and Vicky was about to go stop him when her heard Kria.

Kria: How I wish you boys and men change. Just because I am a girl you all think I can only scream. I warned you so don't say later.

As soon as she completed she flipped her hand out of his grip and hit his leg to make him fall. He fell in such a way that his chest was facing the ground and his back towards the sky. She had twisted his hands and clutched them behind his back.

Kria: Never dare show physical force on me or else what I am going to do will definitely hurt you. Got it. Saying she left them and went towards Shashi.

All were shocked to see the strength of Kria. Rey was one heck of a fighter. He had never lost a bout. As a matter of fact he had learnt wrestling and Karate for two to three years and had gone to nationals too. And seeing Kria so effortlessly pinning him to the ground was something they had not expected at all. Rey was embarrassed would be an understatement. He was fuming with anger and knew if he stayed there it would have not ended up good. He was not angry because Kria didn't respect them but because of the reason Kria gave of leaving them and breaking their hearts. Kria was so upset and hurt not just because she was missing her mom but because of the way she had to behave. She went to the washroom to flush out of her feelings. She could not risk to show any of her weakness to any one, especially to any one of her friends.

Meanwhile Sharon and Taani excused from the gang to just go and wash their faces before they join the rest and then go to their homes. Both of them were about to enter the washroom when they heard Kria crying and letting out her feelings. They didn't hear much but it was enough to raise a few questions in their heads.

The part they heard:-

Kria: Mom I miss you, I miss all of them. Why is it so hard to do this? Why?

Both the girls hid themselves when she came out of the washroom. They saw her wiping her tears and in a few seconds she made a straight face like nothing happened, like she never cried, right now looking at her one could easily think that she has just had an amazing time. It seemed like nothing affected her. They saw her leaving with a fake smirk towards where all were. Both looked at the other with questioning eye.

Taani: What the hell was that? One second she looked so weak and emotional and the next second all the pain just vanished. And what did she mean by missing all of them. Who is all of them? Could it be you guys she is missing and if so then why is she behaving like such a bitch?

Sharon: Don't know about that but why would she miss us. She hates us.

Taani: I don't know her like you guys do. But one thing is sure she is definitely hiding something. Something big. I think we should talk about it later. Why not come to my house, we can talk there and don't tell anyone. Let's try find what is she hiding?

All left for home after greeting the elders meanwhile Kria stayed with them. Elders tried asking about why does she work so hard and try convince her not to do so but all was in vain. They knew that something powerful is driving her and she won't ever stop in her life. They knew she has lost someone so close that she is not ready to move on and hence is keeping herself busy as to not think about her loss. They knew that it was not healthy but were experienced enough that trying now won't help. They wished she finds someone she can love so much that she can proceed in her life like a normal person. They didn't know that she did have such people but owing to her bad luck she could not even go to them, so confiding in them was out of the question. They didn't know that what she was going through is something even far from what they could comprehend. She stayed the night with them and went home the next day feeling a bit relaxed.

Flashback

Vishal was talking to a friend (DCP) in the police department of Uttrakhand when he got to know about a kidnapping case by some local gangster. He was known for his ruthlessness and had many cases of molestation, murder and kidnappings. He was also suspected in the bombing of an auto rikshaw but the case was dropped owing to the fact that no one was ever killed and no solid proof could be collected against him.

Constable: Sir wo saale Raghvan ne kisi laski aur uski maa ko kidnap kar liya hai din dahade.

DCP: What!! Is baar we can't let him get away with it. Guys buck up I want him caught this time dead or alive.

Constable: Sir encounter karne ke liye.

It is then Vishal spoke.

Vishal: Don't worry I'll get it done. There will be no inquiries regarding the encounter. I'll join you all with the encounter specialist team.

Flashback ends.

(Some more insight regarding the situation and their relation.)

All searched for the kidnappers nonstop until they succeeded though it was already too late. Luckily they succeeded in saving the young girl. And when Kria demanded for the anonymity, he made sure she gets it and actually stayed with the team of doctors until she got well. And seeing how boldly she was handling everything, how strong the girl was and this made him all the more attached to her. He visited her once in a while during her stay at the facility where she was treated. And even after that he was in contact with her through mails. Though she never told anything about her past life nor did he ask seeing that she didn't want to share and neither did he know about the real identity of KSG but he still was one of the closest person she had. It is said love needs nothing she loved him like an elder brother though she never met him in these past two year, talked hardly two to three times in this period and maybe chatted 10 times online. And the feelings were mutual he treated her like a sister. He was possessive when it came to her. He would do anything for her.

Kria was ecstatic knowing his presence, she wanted to tell him about her identity as KSG, what she had achieved and he was one person with whom she wanted and could share this achievement with but she chose not to tell him. She had decided to keep her identity hidden as long as possible and she was going to do that. She immediately told Robert that she will be glad presenting the award to him.

(Note: Kria had taken leave for 3 days. She was absent from 12^th August till 15^th and 16^th was a holiday. The performance was on 15^th. Well I want be discussing much what happened between 12^th and 16^th.)

Well the entire two days none actually talked much about anything but the upcoming show they all had planned to go and visit. They thought how stupid Kria is that she is going out of station and missing out on the most anticipated performance of all time. Missing out on the dancer's dream. Yes KSG had become every dancer's dream. Well none wanted to do anything, though they did their practice fearing the repercussions. Soon it was 15^th and every single soul was excited to watch the most anticipated performance of the millennium, the performance of one and only KSG. For Indians' 15^th august itself represents something big. The entire hall that could fit lakhs of fans was jam packed like anything. There was excitement all around. One could feel the vibe of a great atmosphere. It was something to be at a place like this and that too to see KSG perform. All the hooting and cheering made the atmosphere all the more electrifying. This was like none seen before.

Soon the performance started. KSG performed for a total of three hours nonstop. Well no matter how many times one saw her perform but she never failed to bring out something new and exciting. Her dance always made everyone forget what they are doing. It made everyone for once come out of their racing life and rest for a couple of hours. Well it was said Tendulkar stops time in India but this girl had stopped the time of the entire world. That was the power her dance possessed. The gang assembled in the VIP area were in awe of the dancer who was of the same age as they were. Though no one ever spoke but all were thinking could Kria be as good as KSG. It was a thought that came naturally because both were so similar in so many ways. Both brought the best each time. Both had an amazing stamina almost super human. Both showcased some amazing choreography. Both were exceptional dancers. Well they knew one thing for sure that if Kria was not better than KSG then she was neither below her. She was definitely in her league. But they kept their thoughts aside and enjoyed the performance. Everyone could literally feel the aura this girl radiating and reaching every one's heart. Her dance definitely touched everyone's soul. Though no one could see her expressions but still the emotions reached to everyone present at the concert venue or watching it on their idiot boxes. She was definitely something. The show was freaking awesome. After the performance KSG welcomed the guest of honor.

KSG: So I welcome the real life hero Mr Vishal Mittal, who has regularly showcased or actually defined what bravery is, what is to have guts. He has been an inspiration to many and a reason why people like you and me sleep so carefree at nights knowing someone is working his ass off to keep us safe. And for this reason the government of India has given me the honor of presenting him with this special award for his work and bravery on the field. So a huge round of applause for Mr Vishal Mittal.

The entire crowd clapped for the man and as he climbed up to the place where KSG was standing.

KSG: Sir I thank you for the immense work you do. You don't know how many lives you have changed. You are truly a living legend and someone worthy of all the respect and accolades.

Vishal: Well thank you. First of all I am a huge fan of yours and can't tell how happy I am to receive this award and that too from you, the biggest humanitarian in my eyes. Right Guys (He asked the crowd and all hooted).

KSG: Sir you are giving me too much respect.

Vishal: Oh you are too modest. You don't know how many people your trust has helped. In my eyes you are one of the noblest person one can find.

KSG: Sir I am flattered really but I don't do much. And sir it is your day, please ask for anything.

Vishal: Well you know what, I don't know why but you remind me of a girl I met some two to three years before. Well she must be of your age as well. I have never met someone as brave as her and she is the one that inspires me to continue ever since. And you have the same presence. If I am ever in need of encouragement and bravery you two are the people that come to my mind. And this day I would like to dedicate this award to the bravest girl I have ever met. I am not allowed to name her but if she is watching this I dedicate this award to you dear.

Kria was beyond happy to know how much Vishal Sir loved her. She was flattered that she could inspire her own role model. How she wished she could just hug him like how Kria would but she had to behave like KSG.

KSG: Well I just want to thank you for all your hard work. And I am sure the girl you are mentioning about would be the first one to admit that you are her inspiration. You are one that should be emulated by every youngster and we are in dire need of people like you.

Vishal thanked her and acknowledging his award he went back to his place. And after another performance which she performed for him the show ended and all left in a jovial mood after seeing such an amazing performance. The show was broadcasted worldwide and broke its own record of the most watched show. The show had more viewership than the FIFA World Cup Final which itself showed how popular she was. The Social Networking sites were full of people going gaga over KSG. She never disappointed her fans. All were engrossed in praising her and the same was the case with the entire gang.

Rey: Now that's what I call a performance. What incredible choreography.

Swayam: What incredible footwork.

Sharon: What incredible charisma.

Vicky: What incredible stamina.

Neha: What incredible attitude.

All completed each other's sentences. They were short of adverbs for her. All the praise in the world was less to show how dazzling she was. They praised the performance for hours. But the habit of mentioning Kria still showed its affects.

Rimmi: Tell me guys who do you think is better; Kria or KSG.

Soon all became numb. All knew the answer but because of the hatred for her, none wanted to admit her to be equally talented as the world's greatest dancer. They knew not admitting would not change a thing but still something was stopping them. But among the 12 people there were two who knew some part of the truth were utterly confused. They were now not sure how they felt about Kria.

The next day Swayam had went to a friend's restaurant to book his place and had planned to bring Sharon on a date here with him. It was a popular restaurant and Sharon's favorite. Swayam being the only heir of Shikhavat's empire was a close friend of the owner Vinod. On reaching he witnessed that today the place was already booked by someone for an hour and there was no one in there, no decorations nothing. He was confused and greeted Vinod.

Swayam: Vinod yaar kaisa hai? And yeh bta aaj yeh jagah booked hai and no signs of any party. Kya baat hai?

Vinod knew Swayam for a very long while and knew he is not someone to spread things so decided to tell him.

Vinod: It is booked my none other than Mr. Vishal Mittal. He wanted his conversation with someone to be private so he booked the place for 2 to 3 hours. He'll be arriving anytime. You can wait if you want.

Swayam was never one of the people to put his leg in others privacy, but don't know what made him stop that day. May be it was a fan that wanted him to stop there and see his idol or the strings of Destiny were forcing him to stay. Soon Vishal Mittal arrived with some girl. Well she looked too young to be his girlfriend so Swayam assumed her to be someone he knew. He had not seen the girls face as she was tying her shoelace near the gate. He then got rid of his disguise and greeted the two and told him that they would need privacy for a while. They were about to go when the girl stood up and Swayam received a mini heart attack. Well the girl was none other than Kria.

Kria's outfit:

He immediately hid and came out only after Kria had gone away from there. Well several questions arose in his mind. He was thinking how she knows Mr. Vishal? Why was she meeting him in secrecy? What was their relationship? The questions the commotion in his mind was enough to make him stay there until they were finished. The reason for his journey to the restaurant was long forgotten. He stayed there for a while.

(Guys I won't be disclosing anything that Vishal and Kria talked)

After an hour or two which Swayam had no idea of they came out. Kria left first bidding him goodbye. Mr. Vishal Mittal came to Vinod and thanked him and gave him the cheque for his services and was about to go when Swayam butt in.

Swayam: Excuse me sir. I am Swayam, a huge fan of yours.

Vishal: Well thank you beta but it looks like you want to ask something.

(An experienced interrogator could at least figure that out and he had figured that Kria hides several stuffs but he trusted her enough to never doubt that she would get involve into some big problem and not tell him. And it was also true that reading Kria had started becoming tougher when she wanted to hide something from him. She was getting better in masking her feelings)

Swayam a bit flabbergasted at his level of interpretation. But soon recovered as his questions were more important right now.

Swayam: Sir the girl you met now was Kria right? Well I know her too so if you don't mind I wanted to talk about her.

Vishal: You are...?

Swayam: Well more like a student. She has been conducting a dance workshop in St. Louis and I am part of the dance team of the college.

Vishal: Oh! Nice meeting you Swayam. What do you want to know about her?

Swayam: Well just that how do you know her? She has never told us anything about you.

Vishal: Well I am sure she must have not told about me. She is a bit of a private person.

Swayam: A bit is an understatement. But Sir what is your relation with her cause I don't know a single person she has here.

Vishal: I am just a person who met with her a few years back and that's all I can tell you. Sorry.

Swayam guessed Kria must have asked him to stay numb but why was the question he wanted to know, but knew he would not tell so dropped the idea of asking.

Swayam: Sir at least I can have your number. This way I can contact someone who knows her in case of some emergency.

Vishal thought for a while and the decided to give his number.

Vishal: Sure. It is 901*******

Saying he bid farewell and left. Swayam came home all confused. He wanted answers but knew there is no way he can get them. He was sure Kria was the girl Vishal Sir dedicated his award to. What made him think so was because it was clear in his voice and eyes how much he loved and respected Kria in some manner unknown to him. But the question was what he saw in her that was so special. Was it just the dance that made him that attached to the girl they hated but then he spoke of her as an inspiration as someone who would give him courage in case of adverse situations. Dance alone cannot be the reason his mind immediately concluded. Still trying to get the grip of the situation which was eating him up slowly. He kept on thinking, maybe the charity work she does that too being all alone is the reason that she holds such a dear place in his heart. Yes that is something I would consider something worthy of being respected. That is something that could inspire people to do something for others. But then did she really see us so low that she behaved with us in such a cruel manner. Are we the only people you despise Kria? I really can't get you. Did you hate us so much that you wanted us to get destroyed? Why Kria? Was I so bad? Were we so unworthy? I thought you were the best friend one could get which you still might be if you decide on becoming a friend. I really thought you were my best friend but you didn't think me to be worthy of anything leave your friendship. Was I so bad Kria? I don't know what to make out of you. At some point I see the sweeter side of you that makes me want to forget the past and maybe try being your friend again. And yes as if you would be my friend in the first place! He exclaimed sarcastically on himself but hen you show us the bad side that literally makes us wish ill for you. Why can't you be just a single person? Why it feels that you are playing a double role to torture us. Why God? Why Kria?

All left for home after greeting the elders meanwhile Kria stayed with them. Elders tried asking about why does she work so hard and try convince her not to do so but all was in vain. They knew that something powerful is driving her and she won't ever stop in her life. They knew she has lost someone so close that she is not ready to move on and hence is keeping herself busy as to not think about her loss. They knew that it was not healthy but were experienced enough that trying now won't help. They wished she finds someone she can love so much that she can proceed in her life like a normal person. They didn't know that she did have such people but owing to her bad luck she could not even go to them, so confiding in them was out of the question. They didn't know that what she was going through is something even far from what they could comprehend. She stayed the night with them and went home the next day feeling a bit relaxed.

The next day Sharon went to Taani's to try get some answers that had been lingering in their minds for so long. They kept discussing about all the possibilities that would explain and tie up all the scattered pieces. But it was of no use. But when they were about to give up, it was as if destiny wanted to help them.

Taani: Sharon we have looked upon all the possibilities. But nothing can explain anything. As a matter of fact all the thinking has confused me even further.

Sharon: I know that girl was always a mystery. From the day 1 she has been a pain in my ass. And even now she is leaving no stone unturned in making my life miserable. First she made my life hell by challenging us, then when I started to like her she ditched us and when we all had forgotten her, she came back to open up our wounds and now this. Even though we know she is hiding something big, but there is absolutely nothing we could go on. It is like she is a redacted file that no one has access to.

All were unaware of the fact that someone was listening to all their conversation. It was Taani's mom. She could not help but interfere. She was perhaps the most curious; no actually the most worried about Kria and wanted to know the truth so she can be helped. It pained to see a young girl living all alone, with no one there for her and to think she was doing all this for someone else worried her to no bounds. She felt like it's her duty to help her, like she is somehow related to her. She wanted to understand her. But before she reveals anything she needed to know what made the girls question Kria and why do they want to find the truth.

Babita: What do you mean by that she is hiding something big?

The girls were startled to hear her voice but relaxed soon. Babita was more like a friend so they felt no need to hide anything from her plus at this time they desperately needed some advice.

Sharon: Well Aunty Kria is always so good with all except us. Then she had been hiding about her mom's death from us. Well that is not something we find strange but what was strange is the fact she did not retaliate when Rey almost indirectly said that it would be better If Kria's mom was not with her and the Kria we knew could not tolerate any such thing against her mother no matter how small was it and cause we know she hates us she should have spoken some bad words to us. And then;

Taani: And then what happened yesterday made us doubt her even more.

Taani told all that happened yesterday.

Babita: But why do you want to know what Kria is hiding when you hate her so much.

Sharon: Well that is the reason why I want to know about her secret. Well it never made any sense for ditching us after when all of us had changed and after she had changed us. After what we heard yesterday, it makes me doubt that reason itself. So I want to know the reason why she ditched us and I want to make sure I hate her for the right reason.

Well the reason was something strange but Babita was satisfied that they meant no harm. It was not like she didn't trust them but after the prank they pulled made her a bit cautious.

Babita: Well I have something that can help you. Well you are confused regarding who are the people she misses. Well as far I can tell she misses you all. I am not saying this just out of thin air but I have a strong reason to believe so. Well when I went with her to her apartment, the first thing she did was hide two photo frames. And those were hers with all of you guys and one with Rey. When I tried to get something out of her she even tried to incite anger in me by telling how she used all of you. She is definitely hiding something and something big, bigger than we can imagine and wants us to never know about it. I won't be surprised if it is related to you all actually on second thoughts I am sure it is related to you guys. I don't know whether I should tell you this, but something makes me feel she has gone through way worse than we can imagine.

Sharon and Taani could not tolerate being kept in dark and so pleaded to tell them what she was withholding. After a lot of convincing she agreed to tell them only if they keep this to themselves.

Babita: Well you know about the marks all over her body.

Taani: Yes she said she hurt herself while trying to master some dance form.

Babita: Well yes but as far as I can tell they are not something you can inflict on you own. I can't be sure how she got this but my guess would be that she was involved in some accident, that to a big one.

(Note: Babita was basically a gynecologist, so she had never seen a gunshot wound so failed to notice that)

Babita: Well I have been trying to find out about her but nothing has come up. I tried contacting the dean of her college and tried to get to know about her by using her health as an excuse but nothing came up. No one said anything that could help me and Kria is definitely not going to reveal anything. So girls if you notice or find anything let me know. I have to leave now so will talk to you later. I have prepared food and made lemonade. Have something first. OK.

Soon Babita left leaving the confused girls behind. There was silence that had engulfed the surroundings. They must have remained silent for 10 to 15 minutes trying to grasp all they got to know. Sharon decided to break the silence.

Sharon: But why did she leave us when she misses us. And what could probably have caused her to have all those marks on her body. And why did she lie to everyone regarding her injury.

Taani: Mom said she had two photo frames, one a group photo and the other one with Rey, my Rey. Is it possible that she loved him and still loves him? Because if she doesn't then why would she keep their photo close to her.

Sharon: Well I wish I knew. Like I said that girl is a mystery. But if she cares for us and loves Rey, then I can't even imagine how it must be to see all of us hate her, despise her. But I still can't see a single reason why she needs us to hate her. What is this girl up to? Why you are so complicated Kria? Would it kill you to be a normal girl? God please help us. Tell us what we should do.

Taani: Well we can't ask Kria as she would not tell us. We don't know anyone who knows her and it would be safe to assume that she would have not told anyone about the incidents that had taken place in her life. So as far as I can see we don't have any leads to go on. So let's just do what mom asked us to do. We can possibly observe her and report them to mom. If destiny favors us then we might actually get to know something.

Sharon: I know you are right but I really want to know what is hidden behind that mysterious girl. I bet the mystery of Universe would be easier to solve. Well I guess we have no choice but to rest the matter for a while until we get something to go on. Remember our promise we can't tell this to anyone.

Both the girls agreed to rest the topic for now but their minds and hearts were still lingering at the thoughts of Kria.

A few days passed, nothing happened which could lead the girls somewhere. It was just a week left for the most awaited performance in Mumbai. Yes it was time for K's performance. Kria had no need to travel but still needed to visit the place of her performance. Well she called up her trusted Manager Mr Robert Brown. Well he was one of the nicest people she had met. He never tried to force her to reveal anything about her. He did whatever she asked for and made sure no one could ever gain any access to meet her and disturb her privacy. He was the one due to whom all the attempts to know her identity failed. She contacted him and made all the preparations for the show. He informed her that this time Director of Intelligence Bureau Mr. Vishal Mittal was going to be present and the government of India has requested you to greet him and present him with a special award for his bravery and effort in the intelligence Bureau.

Well not everyone knew actually none knew but Kria personally had a very close connection with the man. Well he was the person who once had issued the order to keep the identity of a young girl hidden on her demand. He on that day was present in Dehradun when he received the news of a kidnapping case and willingly offered his assistance.

Telling she carried her to the medical room, and made her lie on the bed. Taani seeing this gesture of hers could not help but ask for the reason of being helped.

Taani: Why are you helping me after what we did to you?

Kria: Don't think I am doing this out of care or concern. I am doing this cause I have a debt to pay to your mother and I don't like to be in debt to anyone plus you would have interrupted my workshops. Now I am asking the nurse to give you a muscle relaxer and a pain killer which will make you fall asleep. I'll tell Swayam to drop you home while leaving, so now relax and rest.

Saying she went from there leaving Taani still a little confused as to what debt she is talking about as it a duty of a doctor to help injured people so what make this a debt. Kria reaches the rehearsal hall where she had told them to reach. First she told Swayam to drop off Taani to her home as she would probably be sleeping after taking the medicines and then asked them to resume with their warm up session. This was probably the toughest day the entire gang must have had in their entire life. It took them almost 3 hours to complete all the exercises as a matter of fact they had dragged themselves over the finish line. And then they all collapsed. Kria then showed them the entire routine. She performed the routine almost 11 times nonstop to show each one what they had to do. It almost took 45 to 50 minutes till then they had replenished their energies a bit but unfortunately the routine was no walk in the park. It was as tough as it gets for them but had to admit it was very beautifully choreographed and her dancing was like a cherry on the top. It had already been 5.30 when they started their practice. It took them 4 hours to perfect the routine and was already 9.30 by the time they decided to leave for home. She informed them tomorrow the workshops will be held till 5.30 as the gang needed to prepare for the party. She also asked them regarding the dance form that Principal Sir likes the most (Though she had a faint idea of what he would prefer as she also knew him but still decided to ask). She got to know it was traditional Rajasthani dance and also classical which he appreciates the most. After knowing she told them all that they can leave. She then practiced her own routine she was going to perform which was a mix of some classical dance which was performed with a few props that are used in Rajasthani dance form. After an hour she decided to leave for her home when it struck her to check whether Swayam had remembered to take Taani with him or not. Though she knew Swayam is not very irresponsible but then it realized that he was almost dragged along with everyone as they were discussing about tomorrows preparation so she decided to check the medical room once. And guess what Swayam had actually forgotten her dear sister, how irresponsible she thought. She called Babita aunty that could she come to the college to pick Taani up as she was sleeping cause of the medicines given to her. She told her everything what happened and told not to worry as Taani was perfectly fine. She then carried Taani again on her back and took her to the gate and stood there waiting for her escort to arrive. Swayam meantime on realizing that he had forgotten her, arrived along with Sharon as she was the one who had the spare keys of the college and so he decided to take her with him in case the college was closed. As soon as they reached they saw the car of Swayam's chachi there stopping in front of the gate. Then they saw Kria reaching out to the car with Taani on her back. They also came out of the car and proceeded towards but stopped when they heard Babita scolding Kria. They hid to hear the entire conversation.

Babita first seeing Kria carrying her daughter soon opened the car door and made her sit in the car. Then she turned to see Kria and was about to thank her when she saw her condition and realized the time which made her angry.

Babita: Are you mad. Don't tell me you were practicing till now. It is almost 11 for god sake. I told you specifically not to overexert but you don't listen to anyone do you. You should realize that you have not completely recovered, I agree that you had an amazing recovery, I too was shocked seeing you recover so fast but still there is a limit to what you should do, what your body can endure. What if you fall ill again?

Kria: Aunty I am fine. And I didn't exert myself I just sat today dictating the entire group of hers (pointing towards Taani) what to do. I only danced for an hour and didn't do much today. I am late because they all left at around 10 because we have a party tomorrow for Principal Sir and hence we were preparing a dance routine to be performed for him. That's it. Believe me I didn't overexert.(She lied and felt bad for braking her promise but she had to lie or else who knows the lady here might again decide to come stay with her)

Swayam and Sharon were thinking how good of a liar she really is. They all knew that she had been exerting herself from the very morning, from the time they had not even reached the college. They were dumbstruck on realizing that she can do all this when she was ill.

Babita: I hope you are telling the truth but you should realize even teaching also causes a lot of stress on your body so you should be more careful. Let me check your temperature.

Kria knew that she had a slight temperature and so she did not want to let her check her but unfortunately she could not do much. Babita checked her and again anger dwelled in her.

Babita: you know what you have a slight temperature again. I find it hard to believe you now.

Kria: Aunty believe me. I guess I will have to rest even more then. I'll make sure to rest as much as I can, that's a promise.

Babita knew she would not but what can she do, she cannot lock her or something.

Babita: Kria you should understand that if you are going to push the limits of your body so much then a time will come when your body will break and soon mentally you will break.

Listening to the last line Kria almost laughed like it was a joke.

Kria: Sorry actually it was that you reminded of what Kaka said before (she was about to say something revealing her past but realized soon enough and changed) before I came here. Don't worry I know that and have no intention of breaking down and no one can break me down.

Babita excepted her defeat and said

Babita: OK come I'll drop you.

Kria: Oh no Aunty don't worry my house is not far away just a 15 minute walk. And I like to walk to my house. Please

Babita: But Kria it is not safe at night for a girl.

Kria: That's what I don't like, what does being a girl have to do with it. You know what this mentality is the main reason for all the abuses towards girls. People think girls are weak and can't take care of themselves. I don't know about others but I am not a mere feeble young girl who can't take care of herself. I can kick any one's ass in a fight. So you don't need to be worried about me.

She said angrily almost shouting at her but soon realized that she had been rude as Babita was just being protective and concerned.

Kria: I am really sorry for shouting like this but I absolutely hate when people say things like that. Aunty I am absolutely fine. I have my phone and I can call if I need help. Don't worry I can keep up with the world and take care of myself. I have been doing fine alone for a while now since mom's accident. So I can keep up.

Seeing Kria hyper she decides that there is no way she is going to listen to her now so she decides to let her have her own way. But she tells her to let her know after reaching home safely and then she bids her goodbye.

Meanwhile Swayam and Sharon were hell shocked after hearing about the accident of Kria's mom. They guessed by the way she said that Smriti Aunty might be not be with her anymore. The news that they just got sure made their heads spin around. There were lots of questions that arose in their heads.

Swayam: (Lost) Sharon do you think Smriti Aunty is, you know, not with her anymore.

Sharon: (Confused and lost) It would seems so.

Swayam: You know Sharon however she may be but she did love her mother more than anything in the world. I would have assumed her to be broken had something happened to Smriti Aunty.

Sharon: Is it possible that you are mistaken about her love for her mother?

Sharon asked though she herself knew how much Kria cared for her mother.

Swayam: Are you seriously asking this. I mean weren't we all there when that happened.

Sharon understood it right away.

Flashback

Dazzlers and Weaklings were fighting for the rehearsal hall when a wicked idea came in the brain of the naughty duo Vicky and Nilesh and they called one of their friend too come and tell Kria that her mother had met with an accident.

Boy: (came running) Kria Principal Sir just told me to tell you that your mother had met with an accident. Though she is out of danger but still has hurt herself a lot. He told me to tell you to go to the Satyam hospital.

Shock was evident on the face of Kria. She without thinking ran to the hospital. Hospital was just a few blocks from the school. The rest of the weaklings accompanied her. As soon as they reached hospital Kria was already shedding tears and when they inquired of a women who had an accident, they were told there was no such person. Kria panicked and called her mother's cell and then she got to know it was a prank by the Nicky duo. Soon the fear and pain was replaced by disgust and anger. Anger in her eyes scared the hell out of anyone and everyone who saw her. She hurried back to the college entered the rehearsal hall and went to Vicky and Nilesh who were having coke. She snatched the bottles from them threw one on the ground near the door and the next were two bangs.

Yes she slapped them both so hard that they almost felt like their teeth might fall off. She to suppress her anger clutched her hand so tight that the second bottle in her hand broke into pieces and pierced the flesh of her hand and soon blood starting oozing out of them. The look on her face, the anger in her eyes freaked everyone. It felt as if she would kill the two. But the blood that started to flow from her hand took everyone's attention and as soon as the weaklings tried reaching her. She showed her palm indicating to stay right there.

Kria: (Anger in her voice) how dare you? You two crossed all your lines today. I had thought you dazzlers too be just some arrogant idiots but never knew you all could go so low just to get the rehearsal hall. How dare you even think of playing such a dirty prank? You remember the next time you think of playing a prank on me and especially using my mother as a bait, I am going to make sure you never ever are able to play any prank on anybody. The smirk you have after humiliating someone would cease to exist and you will curse your life. That's a promise from Kria Ghai. Remember that.

And she dashed away from there. It almost took an hour of convincing to calm her down and then treat her hand. The news spread like a forest fire and everyone in the college knew not to mess around with Kria Ghai. After that day no one dared play a dirty prank on her. Though things calmed down in a few months and small pranks and stuff again became a regular stuff but the memories of that day were still fresh.

Sharon: Yes I get it I mean I have never seen that look on her face ever besides that day and we even have humiliated her in front of the entire college and don't know how many other pranks played on her. I didn't see that anger even now when we almost risked her life.

Swayam: You are right about that.

Sharon: Does she have no one else in her life, I mean any family member.

Swayam: No she once told us that her father left them when her mother was pregnant. She told that she has never ever seen any family come over. She guessed something happened due to which her mother never discussed anything about their family. So if I have to guess she is probably all alone.

Sharon: (almost a laugh came out of her mouth though the laugh was neither the mocking one nor the desperate for a friend) When you look like that sometimes it feels bad for her. I mean her father left her even before she was born, her mother must have been busy trying to provide for both of them and now even she is not there. And if I have to guess she must have been working even in New York also to provide for herself. I mean I can't imagine to have been brought up without the love of my father or mother. Not just them I can't even think of my life without any of my close relatives. And

Swayam: And to think she never had that.(Swayam completed for her)I too thought the same and that's why her kindness which she showed at that time made me respect her more than anything in the world. But I guess I was wrong about her kindness though but I am definitely not wrong about her love for her mother and now I can understand why she works so much. It is probably to keep herself away from the thoughts of her mother and thus keeping herself from getting weak and break down. I mean even if she wants to let out her emotions, there is no one to let it out to.

Sharon: Whatever may be I still can't forgive her for breaking Rey's heart and I hope you understand that. No matter how her life has been, still it gives her no right to play with someone else's heart.

Swayam: Sharon don't get me wrong. I do pity her for not getting the love a person should get but no ways I am forgiving her. Rey is my friend too and I don't plan to forgive her until she realizes her mistake and apologizes. But I know one thing that her actions somewhat are the sole reason why we are together, why us ex weaklings are dancers and why our gang is so strong; And I owe something to her for that but I don't owe her anything that would make me forgive her without a proper reason. Anyways its late we better go home. We can discuss about her later also if we want. Anyways we have to prepare for tomorrow.

Soon they left and next day the morning classes went normally. In the lunch break all were informed about the party at 8 and the venue which was not far from the college. During that day's workshop she did not make them do vigorous training instead she said just to do a slight warm up and practice for their performance tonight. Everyone there was a bit shocked at this but soon realizing the shortage of time they started practicing. The whole time Kria observed them and corrected their mistakes. Around 5.30 the gang prepared to leave when her tuition students arrive. She taught them for an hour and then told them to leave. After that she did her practice for another hour and then changed into the party clothes in the college itself and the walked to the venue. She had already asked for 6 matkas and 4 swords with the box in which they are kept. (Sorry don't know what it is called. Saw it being used in one of the Rajasthani dances. It is nothing but a box in which the swords are kept and the dancer performs bare foot on the swords. (Note swords are real but slightly blund) They were already kept there and she had her outfit delivered too. Soon the party started and the guest of honor arrived. He was welcomed by Rey and Taani as they were the GS and AGS of the college. Then they presented a huge gift to him on behalf of the entire school. The gift was huge and expensive and as anyone would guess took a lot of convincing before it was accepted. Then Kria came and gave a small rapped gift with a handmade card. Meanwhile Kria was handing her gift all the eyes were fixed at her. She looked so hot yet so classy. One could say it was a perfect mix of formal and party wear. The card was so beautiful and when touching the gift it looked like a set of CDs.

Kria's dress:

Principal: Well first of all Kria you look beautiful and so is this card. Thank you for the card but why the need for a gift. The card is enough.

Kria: Sir it is not something expensive. Just a small gift for all that you have done for me.

He asked her what was in it to which she casually replied to open and check it. It was small so could easily fit in his bag so he could not stop the urge to unwrap it. It was a set of DVDs. A few were of Dance and one was marked as "Thank You Sir".

Principal: What is in it? (Pointing to the one marked as Thank You Sir)

Kria: It's nothing just a documentary I made on you. Hope you like it.

Principal: Can I watch it here? I really can't wait for the party to end.

All she did was nod and took the DVD and played it on the giant screen set up there. She had made a documentary showcasing all his achievements and all the changes he had brought in the school. She had also pulled some strings to get interviews of past students who wished him and told how much of impact he has had on their lives. The students' remarks were heartwarming. It also had interviews of the present students mostly from her dance classes. In the end she spoke herself thanking him for all he has done for her from giving an opportunity to show her talent and also giving her permission to take classes after college hours. The entire thing was very emotional and by the end he had tears in his eyes. He hugged Kria and thanked her for such an amazing gift.

Principal: Wow I am out of words. Thanks Kria, you don't know how much I loved your gift.

Kria: I am glad you liked it. But Sir it is just the start there is still a lot more. Three dance performances. Yes three. First one would be from the students who are taking my classes followed by the performance from the dance team of our college and in the end one from my side.

(\\Well in our case one was a dance performance and another was a skating skit me and my friends presented. That was first time we did such a thing on our own//)

Soon the dance performances started. The first dance performed was by a total of 200 students. Yes all. Though they were amateurs and weren't that good but she had choreographed it on the song "party abhi baki hai" from Faltu and it was choreographed in such a way that it involved everyone and make them dance. They were dancing everywhere on the stage, with the crowd, everywhere there were dancers. So though they were not amazing dancers but still it rocked. Everyone had an amazing time during their performance. Principal Sir congratulated all of them and told Kria that she has done an amazing job teaching them.

Then came the performance of the D3 Team. The dance was awesome, the improvement in them was visible and the choreography was out of the world. The dance was mesmerizing. They burned the stage. The dance was a mix of hip hop and freestyle with a bit of popping by boys and whacking by girls. Everyone applauded and Principal Sir came to them.

Principal: Wow Guys you were amazing. You all have improved a lot. The choreography was amazing, good job.

Gang: (Everyone spoke in unison) Thank You sir.

Kria was a bit shocked as the people she knew wouldn't take credit of someone else's work. But here they were not acknowledging her even a bit. She thought whether they have changed or is it because they can't bare giving her credit for anything. But soon she heard what made her content to know that she has still not changed the core of their being by her action.

Rey: Sir we wished we could take all the credit but choreography was done by Miss Ghai here.

He said sarcastically but soon covered up.

Rey: Kria is definitely a great choreographer.

Principal Sir thought it of as a friendly joke but Kria got the message.

Kria: Sir so let's proceed for the last performance. Give me 10 minutes to get ready.

And she left meantime a few juniors carried the 6 matkas, a diya and oil and the swords thingy. She arrived in a full on Rajasthani dress. She looked breathtakingly beautiful with hair open.

Her Dress:

She then started with her performance. She came and burned the Diya and did some Traditional dance steps. She had incorporated steps of all the traditional dance forms of India and some contemporary. She performed all of them so smoothly that no one could take eyes of her. She soon started keeping the matkas over her head and dancing. It gave the feel of a Rajasthani folk dance which he loved so much. Everything looked so pure, so beautiful but when she stepped on the swords it is then when the calmness on the faces of all there changed into fear for her. (I don't know whether it is a Rajasthani dance or not but I saw some artists perform in Rajasthan) But shockingly she was fine, she had mastered the skill that takes years and she didn't just stand and moved a little on those swords but actually did proper Kathak steps. Later she stepped down went to the place where the burning Diya was kept and took it and started to perform some twirling, swirling moves and it looked so gorgeous. She ended her performance with the lights getting off, in a sitting position and only her face was visible in the light of Diya and then she blew making it deep dark. Then the lights were switched back on. Everyone applauded as they had never seen that before. Principal Sir had the day of his life though he did scold her a little on doing the stunt with the swords and all. The party went on till 11.30. He enjoyed a lot and congratulated everyone for making his day so memorable. Meantime the entire gang was happy that the party was such a huge success but also wondered when did Kria choreographed her performance and practiced it. As they clearly remember her asking them the likes of Sir just last night. Well they were used to such surprises by now so they soon went home.

For the next few days the routine went like nothing had ever happened. Workshops were back to the way they were before which was a relief to the gang. Though the punishment became something that made their lives easier. (How?) Well after going through the full session of exercises, it was easier to put up with the 1/4^th they had to do. Kria thus made the punishment worthwhile for the gang. On the 22^nd July Kria told the gang that next day she is going to take a leave and had also told her students. She then told them what to do during tomorrow's workshop. Everything appeared normal but everyone could sense something was up. She did not have the same vigor and sharpness she normally has like something was troubling her. None could understand.

Next day the entire gang met in the canteen. It had become a common routine to talk about Kria and curse her for the amount of work she is making them do which sometimes turned into a discussion to try understand how she pulls off the entire routine of hers. But today instead of bickering about the workload everyone were thinking why she had been acting so gloomily yesterday.

Taani: What happened to her yesterday? She was not in her usual Hitler mode. I sometimes wished if she would be like that but now when she behaved that way it is making me wonder why so.

Everyone were thinking hard as if they had to present a thesis on it and then suddenly it struck Swayam's mind.

On the other side in Mumbai the gang seeing the news somewhere deep were worried and hoped it should not be Kria as they knew she was from a Dehradun and had only her mother, plus she was of the same age as the girl was but outside they showed like they didn't care if the girl was Kria. Everyone secretively followed the entire media coverage just praying it should not be her as the feelings they had were very much real and how much they hated her but still had a sweet corner for her at least in just two months they can't just remove her from their heart. They would need time for that.

After six days of hard work by the doctors, she was out of danger but didn't knew any one they could contact and cause they had to keep her identity a secret they could not also flash her photo and ask anyone. After the 7^th day when she finally came to her senses she told that she had no one other than her mother. She told them that she actually was born in US were they have their family mansion. She told that her mother shifted to India and got a job here after her father left them and eventually got the citizenship of India. She told them that her mother had instructed her to go there only if something happened to her. She had no idea about her family her ancestors nothing. She gave them the address she had. On inquiring about the address she gave them they got to know that she was the only living member left of the richest industrialist of the United States. Unfortunately the entire family had died during a plane crash except their youngest daughter which was Smriti. She was extremely rich even though her family ware no longer in the business. She was the owner of an estate worth several thousand billion dollars. She was the owner of an entire Island named after her and many such things. The doctors were shocked to know this.

Meanwhile the last words her mother had told her were the only thing that kept her going and had vowed to always chase her dream and live her life as much as she could to honor her mother who was not here because of her. She also read the diary of her mother and her resolve only strengthened. The doctors were themselves shocked how strong this girl was. Normally after such a tragedy people are not even in their senses for years but here she was recovering so fast which made them wonder how strong the girl is not physically but mentally.

The expected time for complete recovery was 1 year but she had recovered within 9 months. During her stay in the hospital she had won the hearts of all the 10 people attending and treating her by her resolve to fulfill her mother's last wish.

Meanwhile as the time passed the gang had already started forgetting her, not actually forgetting her rather despising her more, which eventually had turned into not talking about her and always remembering her as their biggest enemy whom they had to conquer no mater what.

After nine months she returned to New York where she was greeted by Kaka, the caretaker of the family. He was one of the nicest person one could find. Even though he had almost a mansion spread over 1000 acres, he lived in a small cottage just outside the mansion. She was treated with so much affection that she sometimes let the old Kria out to him. After coming back to New York she had only two motives one was to become the best dancer she possibly could and the other was to train in martial arts so she can always protect herself and her loved ones. There she applied in the New York School of Dance and no surprise here she got selected pretty easily that too on full scholarship. And at the same time there was a worldwide reality dance show organized, and the winner was to be awarded with a chance to start their own dancing group, which would perform all over the globe.

Kria wanted to participate but didn't want any of her friends back in Mumbai or as a matter of fact anyone who knew her to know that she was participating. All she wanted was to dance and stay out of the limelight as well. She went to the Dean of New York School of Dance (he was a family friend of the Ghai's but he got to know her after she got into college so no partiality there and also to mention she never told anyone what had happened to her not anyone) and asked him if he could keep the news of her participation a secret and excuse her whenever her presence was required for the competition to which he readily agreed. She actually took a month long sick leave when the show was in its later stage. She went into the competition wearing a skin colored inner like thing that hid all the marks (from neck to feet) she had got from the incident (note: it would appear just like skin) and over the inner she would wear the dress she has to perform in. Besides that she would wear a mask of Vendetta. This would eventually become her signature. She entered with the pet name KSG (short form of Kria Smriti Ghai). She looked so mysterious and yet so serene and beautiful in the attire.

After a month and half, when the show completed she was judged the winner of the show by a huge margin. It seemed no one could even come near her when it came to dance. She was a class apart, what she brought on the dance floor was something no one could ever tell. The passion and the determination to become better was unfathomable. All the attributes along with her unmatched dancing skills made a sensation all over the world in just one world tour organized by the competition guys. She was the Sachin Tendulkar, Roger Federer, Michael Schumacher, Michael Jackson all combined when it came to dance. She had become the queen of the world, the most sought out celebrity within half a year. On top of her amazing skills the mask she put on which added the mysterious part to her, the fact she never disclosed her name or ever give a live interviews made people only more curious to know who she was. Only two people knew who this mysterious KSG is; the dean sir and Kaka.

She had become bigger than anyone in the world at the age of nineteen. The president of United States himself requested her to meet him and she would almost earn billions of dollars for every show she would do (though she would perform only once or twice in couple of months). People called her the angel from India because of the fact that she would deposit everything she earns into her trust (including the winnings from the show) and then would donate everything to people who are in need of the money. Her deeds had gained her a reputation of the one of the most noble humans and immense respect from all over the world. People considered her a soft, nice and an extremely talented artist with a heart of gold but the performance in Texas added another adjective the world would use to mention her.

While she was performing on a song do dhari talwaar with couple of background dancers who were carrying a sharp blade, one of the blade slipped from the hands of a dancer and hit Kria piercing her cloth along with the skin. She started bleeding profusely. The show was put on halt and due to the immense love and affection people showered on her, no one was ready to leave the arena until they got update about her condition. Everyone hoped that she would come back on stage and inform them that she was all right and then they could leave a little less worried. After 15 minutes she showed up on stage not just to assure them of her well-being but she actually performed for another 2 hours completing the show. This action of hers came as a shock for everyone as it was clearly visible that she had started to bleed again 30 minutes after resuming her performance but still performed with same intensity, and vigor like she felt no pain. After addressing the crowd she went backstage patting the guy from whom the blade slipped a while ago. After the performance when he was inquired about what happened backstage he narrated the entire conversation.

Doctor: KSG this is a deep cut you should probably go cancel the show and take rest. I have done the dressing and don't exert much or else bleeding will start again.

Dancer: (feeling guilty and scared of the repercussions of his mistake) Sorry ma'am, the blade slipped of my hand and hurt you. I am really very sorry.

Before he could say anything KSG interrupted

Note I am using KSG so it's easier to understand that no one involved knows anything about the identity of KSG aka Kria

KSG: Hey there is no need to feel sorry. It is not like you purposely harmed me or anything. The stunt you are performing is already very difficult and there is a slight risk involved and the risk is to you more than me. Plus you are quite more experienced and senior to me so you don't need to apologize. We are artists and while performing such small incidents happen all the time. If you really want to do something for me then just forget that such an incident happened and perform like you always do without any hesitations.

Dancer: Thank you KSG. You are too kind but what do you mean by performing like I always do, we are not performing after your injury.

KSG: we are performing. I am absolutely fit and fine and can perform. I don't want to rob people of their money. I had promised them a three hour show and can't stop it just after an hour cause of a small injury.

Doctor: what the hell are you saying girl. It is not a small scratch it is a deep cut you need rest.

Again interrupted

KSG: I am fine I have all the time to rest after the show and we are performing and am not hearing anything else. Get ready everyone we are resuming in 5 minutes.

The authority in her voice was something no one could go against. Her tone though being polite had don't know what kind of influential power that no one was ever able to argue with her. And so the show resumed.

This incident along with what the media were told about the conversation of KSG and her crew was the talk of the town for many days to come. The incident had increased the respect and admiration her fans had to a completely new level.

Meanwhile her normal life out of the limelight at the New York School of Dance was also not quite different.

She had already become the most admired dancer in the institute. The command she had in her voice, the confidence she had in herself was something to admire. The way she carried herself was so divine that no one could keep their eyes of her. The beautiful face and a perfect body was enough for any guy to start drooling over her. The marks of that dark phase could also not affect her beauty in even a slightest manner. Though everyone did wonder how she had those marks all over her body but no one could ever make her reveal the secret behind it. Everyone had assumed it must be due to a severe accident she must have suffered. She was the person to talk to if you had any problems no matter if they were related to dance or anything else. She was the person anyone would go if they had any difficulty mastering a step or if they were having problem in choreographing a song. She was a friend to all but she was also someone whom you would not want to make angry. Though she never got angry easily but if she did then its hell for the person for whom the anger was directed to. Everyone had seen her angry side only once she kicked the asses of the four well-built bullies when they didn't pay heed to her warning to stop ragging a girl but instead tried forcing them upon her with the intention to scare her. But what the entire school witnessed blew away the minds of everyone. Within a minute all 4 were down on the floor begging for her forgiveness. This was a result of the training she had been going through for almost a year now.

Kria: Well it is something you can surely use to give a good performance but the quality of the performance will always be limited. What you need is to think out of the box. Playing safe is not something that is going to help, you need to take chances. Instead of trying to modify what you know, you should try making new steps that go with the flow of the music. Feel the music, flow with the beats, this is the only way you can make your performance magical that can and will impress one and all.

All were lost in her speech. The way she described showed her passion towards dance. They all were mesmerized and they felt like their fatigue had vanished completely after seeing her dance and explain her insights of choreographing but soon came out of their trance when she told them that was it for today. For a moment after seeing a far gentler side of the new Kria which they surely did like were tempted to call off their plan. But their egos did not let them change their plan. So they started with their plan. Vicky left his bag in the rehearsal hall and all left from there. They waited patiently till she was the only one left in the rehearsal hall. They were so engrossed in executing their plan that they didn't notice that the bag they had left there for Kria was actually not there anymore. Kria had noticed that somebody had left their bag there so she had given it to one of the student and asked her to deposit it in the lost and found. After everyone left Kria decided to dance for another 10 minutes before leaving and during this time the Vicky came and locked the door.

Actually the gang was also not aware of the fact that Kria's phone was no longer switched on as the battery had got fully consumed and thus she had no way of contacting anyone. After Vicky had left Kria drank a few gulps of water and poured the rest of the water on her head to relieve her of slight headache that she started to have because of a slight fever which had gone unnoticed by her till now. The fever was probably due to the exertion. She had last eaten at 1 in the canteen. As she decided to leave, the power was cut off and soon she realized that she had been locked in the rehearsal hall. Though now she was no longer afraid of anything but she did realize tomorrow being Sunday no one would be here in college and staying here locked for such a long time without water and food would not be pretty. Then she realized that bag which was left and understood this was the doing of her friends. She knew them all too well, she knew if they would have done something like that they would try leaving something to eat and drink as hurting someone was still not something they would opt and that was why the bag was probably left here for. But her bad luck that she herself sent it to be deposited in the lost and found and her phone was also not working today. She had no choice but to wait till someone comes and unlocks the door. It was early-July and the heat was at its peak. With no power Kria was sweating badly and due to lack of water and food her fever also shot up. By morning she had almost fainted due to her worsening health.

The next day the entire gang met at Rey's around 10 and were excited as well as a bit worried how it had been with Kria after all they weren't bad people at heart, just some hot headed asses when it came to her. They were discussing about Kria, and also questioning whether they had done wrong by playing this prank.

Swayam: Guys are we sure we have not made the wrong move.

Nil: I don't know about that but even if we are wrong we are not hurting her like she hurt us.

Simmi: But guys I did like the part of Kria when she was teaching us the way she choreographs.

Sharon: I know Simmi, I mean I wonder what makes her so passionate about dance.

Rey: Sharon you don't know how much I have thought about the reason but still have never understood. I mean I always felt dance always expresses what you feel deep down in your heart and souls but I have always failed to understand what is residing in that soul of hers which is so selfish and still brings out so much passion. I guess she will always remain a mystery to us.

Swayam: I think we should go and check on her condition. What say guys?

Everyone nodded in agreement so they decided to go and check on her. They had a set of duplicate keys which they had it done for preparing a party some time back. They used the keys to enter the college and reached the rehearsal hall. They peeked through the windows to see her sleeping in one of the corners but soon Taani burst their bubbles telling them that she was not sleeping but was in fact lying there unconscious. They quickly opened the door and rushed to her. Swayam checked her to see that she was burning and was all drenched due to sweat. Besides that the shivering body of their ex friend made them shiver as well. Taani's mother is a doctor so she had a slight idea assessing one's health condition. She soon tried to wake her up but with no success. She asked them to take her to the hospital as soon as possible. Before anyone could budge Rey lifted her and took her to the car. Taani saw this and understood that whatever the situation be she was still his first love and he would still have a slight concern for her well-being even though now he might despise her for her nature. She could relate that to her first love whom she now hated because he never really acknowledged her feelings. Soon the entire gang was at the hospital where they took her to the doctor (Taani's mother). Everyone was outside except Taani who stayed in her mother's cabin along with Kria. She checked Kria and after giving her some injections she asked Taani what had happened to which she hesitantly told her everything. On hearing this she got hell angry and asked Taani to accompany her outside where her friends were there as well. She took them in an empty room and started scolding them

D: Are you all mad? You played such a dirty prank for a petty fight you had with this girl. How dare you all? Do you even know what your actions could have caused? Had she been there in this situation till tomorrow morning, she might have gone into comma (She exaggerated slightly to make them understand their mistakes but it was true it could have led to a very critical situation. It could also have been life threatening). You have no right to play with a life of such a young girl. Do you even realize what could happen if she decides to complain against you? I am shocked that you all could do something like that and Swayam I thought you were sane enough, then how could you allow such a thing to happen? I am really disappointed of you all.

Everyone looked down and then Vicky spoke

Vicky: We are sorry but we made sure nothing would happen, we had left a bag there for her with ample food and water supplies but it looks like somebody took it from there plus we had thought that she would have her phone so she could call for help if needed but we didn't think of the situation if her cell's battery would have got consumed up. It's not our fault that things went out of hand.

D: How shameful. You are arguing that it was not your fault. Really pathetic. Anyways give me a contact number of her parents so I can inform them.

Swayam: Chachi she has come from New York so we don't know the current contact number of her mother and she doesn't have a father. Is she all right?

D: No she is very weak, I have given her some medicines and injections, she should regain her consciousness in an hour, and then probably I'll better judge her health. But what I can judge looking at her condition right now she would a week's rest for a full recovery. You all better stay here and apologize to her before leaving. I'll go check on her.

After 45 minutes Kria wakes up to see herself in the hospital and before she understands anything she is greeted by a lady doctor who offers her water.

D: Hello beta how are you feeling?

Kria: I am fine thank you.

D: could you give me your mother's number so I can contact her?

Kria: (with a slight sadness on her face) she is no more. I actually have come here from New York for a tie up so am living here alone.

D: Oh I am really sorry. Do you have any of your relatives' number that might be here?

Kria: (with a firm voice) actually Doctor, I don' know anyone. I live with kaka in New York. He is the caretaker of my family's mansion in New York. And I really don't want to worry him for such a small thing especially at his age. Doctor who brought me here?

D: A few of your college mates brought you here. May I ask what happened and how did you end up in such a bad condition?
