"missed miscarriage" or in medical terms "a blighted ovum"

it is a very hard thing to come to terms with, you normally think you could have done something to prevent it

but in reality this is nature's way of telling you something is genetically wrong with the embryo and it is not viable

awaiting your next chapter

So Sorry to hear that you went through this pain & ordeal..

It must be very shocking to know all of a sudden there is no baby..

My heart goes out to you and all women who go through this.. 🤗

hey i just cant keep myself from putting my comment. the chapter was so emotional. it was as though we are going through the pain. kushi's state is no more normal. she has had what a normal person will never ever dream to have. a miscarriage. which mother can be sane when she knows that she has lost her baby. the end was expected. arnav has finally accepted atleast to cry out. the poem was so touching.
u have written such a wonderful ff. it is a common issue which is ignored but u have given light to the main points . i sincerely appreciate ur hardwork and hoping to read more.

A miscarriage is one of the most traumatic experiences ...
have been through it and can never ever forget what I went through ...
thank God for loving family members around who helped me out of it ...

NB that was so beautifully written ... Khushi's pain was totally palpable ...
Arnav in his selfishness did not realise what he was putting Khushi through ...
But then a Mother is a Mother ...
it is that emotional contact which we have with our Mothers which connects us ...
and there is no wonder why when ever we need to express our inner most
feelings the words 'Haye Maa' comes out of our mouths ... never a 'Haye Dad or Papa' !

Thanks NB ... very emotional ...

This FF has a lot on impact on me.After you started updating this FF again it invaded my thoughts. I was a supporter of Live-in relationship , I thought that it was better than arranged marriages. Majority of the arranged marriages survives because of the sacrifices of the woman. I was of the impression that live-in relationship demands less sacrifice from woman, and it is a relationship based on comfort and understanding rather than compromises. I was aware of the negative side of it, but still I supported it.This FF acted like an enlightening experience, and now I think whether in marriage or live-in relationship if compromise is not from both the party it can turn to hell.
So 34-year-old Arnav became aware of the negative side of abortion only after hearing the lecture of doctor. Thank god at least she could make him understand.
His reaction after the information of khushi's pregnancy made me to criticize him. Until then, I was okay with his stubbornness. It is his life, and he can plan it accordingly. But who is he to order her to kill another life. Secondly, the way he handled Khushi's parents made me angry. He was not aware of society's reaction to this unconventional relationship until the encounter with khushi's parents. I didn't expect him to agree the marriage proposal instantly, but he could at least rethink about his decision. Sadly, I don't remember a single moment in which he sacrificed something for Khushi.
Chapter 38 A
I don't want Khushi to abort, and I don't think she will abort the child.Abortion may help a woman to hide the matter from society, but it is not easy to overcome her own guilt feeling. But I want Khushi to be strong to deal with the situation alone. Perhaps this may be first time I wish Khushi to lead an independent , separate life from Arnav, not because of his rude senseless behavior but the lack of compatibility in their relationship. In long term relationship emotional compatibility is more important than physical compatibility.
Chapter B
You are an unpredictable writer . I never expected this, sometimes destiny is like this ,it use weird strategies to change the situation worst or better.
When they accepted the pregnancy after experiencing the confusion, restlessness, guilt feeling they realized that there is no baby. For a change now even Arnav is emotionally affected with the news.
Now what ?

I'm glad that you are taking such issues with utmost care and giving an insight to every aspect. It is really sad to know about Khushi's Baby.
I'm waiting eagerly to know how ArHi will cope up with the circumstances. I hope this situation only brings them together. Rest said, I believe that more than love, respect for the other person is what keeps the relationship going.
Love,
Saraa😃
