*Guiltily peeks in* *Ducks the omatoes, eggs etc being thrown at her*

I wont dedicate this update to any of my readers...cause this one is really crappy. And I mean it.

Camp At Goa
Part 17: Excluding Sugar Factory
She sat there in the balcony, with the wind blowing softly, sending strands of hair flying across her face. So engrossed was she, in her work, she did not realize that someone was openly ogling at her.
He stood there, leaning on the railing, with an expression of amusement.
"How in the whole wide world, did she get Rank 2 this year in the exams? And how did she get herself a place in the DreamTeam when she has a brain, the size of a pea...maybe smaller. Can't even fix this easy robot." Randhir thought, smirking.
He urged to go and snatch away the robot from her, rectifying all the silly mistakes she'd done. But then again, he'd given her as a gift for HER birthday. Besides, every time he moved even an inch further, she'd suddenly realize his presence and glare at him. Not just an ordinary glare. Her special deadly glare, which clearly told him "Stay Away".
So he stayed away, watching with amusement and then awe, as the robot started working.
Maybe she'd seen realized her stupid mistakes, and undone them while he was busy admiring her features.
He mentally slapped himself. What the heck was he thinking!
"Aise kya dekh rahe ho? Maine theek kar liya robot. Kitna easy thaa. Mujhe laga tum mujhe thoda aur tough kuch doge." Sanyukta said, airily.
Her words brought him out of his trance.
"Mann toh bahut thaa kuch tough dene ka, taaki tum solve naa kar paayo aur yeh prove kar do ki tum mujhse zyaada intelligent kabhi ho hi nahi sakti. Par fir yaad aaya ki aaj toh tumhaara birthday hai. Ab tumhe apne janmdin par rulaa kar mai tumhaare lover boy ke saath jhagda nahi karna chahta!" Randhir smirked.
Sanyukta's mouth dropped open, forming a perfect O'.
"What? Please! Mai kabhi itni choti choti baato ke liye roti nahi. Aur vaise bhi aisa kab hota hai ki tum mujhe kuch kaam karne do, aur mai voh poora na kar saku? And please Randhir. Yeh lover boy stuff bolna bundh karo. Parth mera friend hai. Haan yeh alag baat hai ki tum jaise MCP's ko friend ka matlab hi nahi ptaa!" Sanyukta chirped.
"Excuse me? Mai tumse behta----" Randhir started but was cut off as Sanyukta heard Parth calling out to her and darted off, leaving the now fixed robot, lying on the table idly.
"Why do I even care. Might as well let her be with that loser." Randhir thought, even though neither his mind nor his heart agreed so.
-------In the dining hall-----
"Hmmm. Kitni achi khushboo hai. Jaldi laao naa khaana. Pet mai chuhe daud rahe hai!" Sanyukta said, sniffing into the air and taking her seat at the table.
Yoyo, Kaustaki and Sahil came barging into the suite just as Randhir and Jiggy sat on the table. Sahil looked bored and unexcited while, Yoyo was happily chattering away with Kaustaki with that shy little genuine smile plastered on his face. Jiggy's temper boiled as he saw Kaustaki smiling away merrily.
He got up from his seat and rushed to Kaustaki.
"Baby. Aagayi tum? Zyaada garmi thi kya baahaar? Tum itni thaki hui lag rahi ho. Aao lunch karo humaare saath. Khaana almost taiyaar hai." Jiggy coochi-coed.
Randhir looked disgusted along with Sahil and Vidushi but Parth just smiled while Sanyukta tried to muffle her giggles.
Yoyo shook his head and took his sit at the table. He had a dreamy expression plastered on his face. He really was crazy for Kausto.
"Okay so guys khaana taiyaar hai!" Parth said, bringing on the dishes to the table.
Vidushi cam trutting behind him, carrying two bottles of water.
Parth served food to everyone, excluding Randhir, who insisted on serving himself without any assistance. Jiggy adjusted his specks and looked at his plate with a suspicious glance.
"Parth bhai, aap bhi kitchen mein the isiliye yeh khaana try kar raha hu. Varna iss Vidushi ka toh koi bharosa nahi. Pichle baar khaane mein namak zyaada thaa aur saath mein baal milein the. Iss baar kya ptaa namak ke jagah cheeni daal diya ho aur baal ke jagah----" Jiggy spoke before being interrupted by a series of loud laughter.
He turned to see Sanyukta bursting with laughter. Kaustaki and Parth also seemed to be smiling.
"Okay guys ab bas bhi karo. Khaake toh dekho." Parth said with that sagely voice of his.
Everyone, reluctantly took a spoonful of the fried rice the two had prepared.
Vidushi just stood smirking. She knew they'd love the food. Parth had prepared it after all. She'd just assisted him here and there and tried to flirt with him, failing completely.
Sanyukta was the first to react.
"Mmm. Gosh. Tasty toh bnaa hai. Well done Vidushi and Parth. Tum dono ko birthday girl ko khush karna achche se aata hai!" she said, between another mouthful of the rice.
"Oye Parth. Tune btaaya nahi tu itna acha khaana bnaata hai? Ptaa hota toh Hostel ke parties ke liye tujhe cook bnaa dete!" Yoyo said, relishing the food.
Parth laughed at his remark as the others complimented his cooking.
Vidushi, although feeling neglected, was glad that Sanyukta wasn't the one receiving all the attention. As long as it was Parth, well she would live.
Randhir ate the food quietly and then excused himself.
He entered his room and started doing Push-ups.
"Why does she always have to behave like that?! Always so sweet and thankful, at her best behavior, with that sugar factory! God. If this continues, she is sure to turn into a sugar factory herself, as she already is, with Parth atleast. I have got to stay away from this girl. God knows what she's done but this is way out of hand. I can't allow her to affect me so much." Randhir thought frustrated as he increased the pace of his Push-Ups.
--------A little while later--------
Sanyukta walked into the balcony and the first thing she noticed, was the robot lying idly on the coffee table. She walked ahead and sat on a chair, beside the table.
Lifting up the greased robot, she sniffed into the air.
Oh how she loved the smell of grease. It may be disgusting for some but it was heaven for her. She closed her eyes and sniffed harder. The smell was faint but intoxicating for her, nonetheless.
A smile spread across her face, as she realized how well Randhir knew her. Though she hated to admit it, Randhir had been damn sweet. Who would have thought that her arch enemy would give her the best gift on her birthday?
"A damaged robot? Seriously? How adorable is that?" Sanyukta thought with that silly grin still across her face.
She then mentally slapped herself as she realized what she had been thinking.
"Adorable? Who? Randhir? Oh God. I am crazy. Seriously, I knew the smell of grease intoxicated me. But I never knew it'd intoxite me to such an extent that I'd start thinking of RANDHIR as ADORABLE!" she thought, amused.
"Now Now Sanyukta. It isn't that surprising, is it? He is adorable. Admit it. You didn't give him a gift that'd make him jump onto cloud nine on his birthday, did you? Nah. As far as I remember, you didn't. Quite the opposite infact." Another thought piped in.
Her smile faltered as she remembered how idiotically she'd put up pink posters and brought a pink cake for Randhir on his birthday, just to annoy him. She felt guilty, but not for long, as another thought chirped, "Oh please. That was just a one time thing. He's done many things to spoil my life too. Besides. Giving me a good gift on my birthday, just doesn't make him adorable."
"Hmm. Well but his smile is, isn't it? Adorable I mean. And then of course, those eyes. Doesn't your heart skip a beat everytime you look into those intense eyes of his? It does, of course. Why wouldn't it? They never fail to show concern for you. At rare times, you even see the slightest hint of love and joy, for you. Yes, For YOU. His eyes always express everything. You die a little everytime you see the pain in his eyes. But what do you do? Nothing. Why? Because your ego doesn't allow you to. " another sensible thought said.
Sanyukta sighed. This battle of thoughts in her mind wasn't anything new to her. It had become quite common infact, especially since they'd come to Goa. It never seemed to stop. Just like Randhir and her bickering. Endless. Just like their repeated attempts to hide their true feelings, burying them deep, deep inside their hearts, behind a number of strong walls. And this seemed so unstoppable. The building of walls around the heart. It really was unstoppable.
Well, atleast until either of them decided to let their mountain sized ego down and break their walls to speak out their feelings.
-------4 hours later---------
Sanyukta felt restless.
He hadn't spoken a word to her since lunch.
He was freaking sitting right next to her now. On the sofa. Yet he didn't utter a word.
She'd die of boredom really if he didn't speak now.
Desperate to just talk to him about anything, she ran a list of "things to talk about with your arch enemy when you're bored" in her mind.
Alas for her she found no topic. He had been so adorable---Oh no there she went again! Damn. But well he'd been so polite in the morning and then so ignorant to her taunts in the noon, that she really didn't know what to speak to him about.
But then the light bulb flashed. A bright, yellow flash.
She grinned mischievously as she thought of a way to execute her bright idea.
"Aaj ka lunch bada tasty thaa naa Randhir? Tum toh desert khaaye bina hi chale gaye. Tumhe ptaa hai desert kitnaa tasty thaa!" Sanyukta started.
Randhir sighed mentally. This girl really couldn't stop ranting, could she? Anybody would be affected by her. She forces them to be so.
"Where the hell is she going with this? I mean why the hell is she speaking about the delicious' lunch now?" he thought, confused.
"Ptaa hai voh desert Parth ne bnaaya tha! Voh bhi akele. Vidushi toh khud surprise hogayi. But seriously yaar. Tumne miss kar diya. He cooks damn well. I think tumhe usse training le leni chahiye!" Sanyukta continued.
Randhir shifted uncomfortably now. He clenched his fists.
"Why the hell is she speaking about the loser now. If she's so impressed by him why isn't she going and talking to him now. Why is she troubling me with her idiotic rants." Randhir thought, trying to control his anger.
"But you know Randhir. Mai tumhe main baat toh btaana hi bhool gayi! Usne ptaa hai mujhe kya diya mere birthday ke liye? It is just the best birthday gift I have ever received. Parth ne----" Sanyukta said excitedly, before stopping abruptly.
Randhir had had enough. His blood boiled and he turned around to glare at Sanyukta, immediately causing her to stop in between her rant.
"Only I have the right to trouble her, to tease her. And only I have the right to make her happy or make her sad. There is no EFFING way, that stupid sugar factory, gave her a better gift than I did. She is definitely lying. I wonder why though." Randhir though fiercely before speaking to her, in a very cold voice,"Stop lying Sanyukta. Aur kitna jhut bologi.Look Sanyukta, what is your problem? Jab mein baat karta hut oh tum gussa ho jaati ho aur MCP kahika' karti rehti ho. Jab mein chup rahu, tab bhi tumhe problem hai? Ab toh mai tumhe disturb bhi nahi kar raha, toh kyun mujhe shaanti se nahi rehne deti?"
Sanyukta kept mum. His words forced her to stop and think. He was right. Why was she so damn affected. If he spoke, she'd usually just shout at him and create a fight. Now when he wasn't speaking she was trying to get him to taunt her?
"Aur haan. If you really wanted to you know, trouble me, you could have done so without mentioning your lover boy's name. He doesn't really affect me you know, so its no use mentioning him." Randhir continued.
Sanyukta's mouth opened up after that remark. She asked, expectantly, "So you mean, I affect you?"
Randhir froze.
She'd asked him the question that he'd been asking himself the entire time. And he still hadn't found the answer. How was he to reply to her?
"No you don't." Randhir lied.
"But we definitely don't need that fevicol to stick us up together. I mean, we, you and me, we are stuck together already by the thread of lov---hatred." he rectified as he saw the shocked look on her face. "We don't need that fevicol to stick us up. Thus."
Sanyukta internally smiled.
"Mission Successful" she thought.
She had noticed the way Randhir's voice lowered on the word "hatred". And she hadn't failed to notice his slip of tongue either. Seeing the uneasiness he was feeling, she decided to let him go for now. She'd had her daily dose of fun with him...maybe an overdose.
" Love? How could I have even thought of that, let alone said that?" Randhir thought, feeling higgly embarrassed.
He turned to go but felt a grip over his wrist.
He recognized the grip, but wondered what was the reason behind it.
He whirled around to see Sanyukta staring right into his eyes.
"Randhir, I..." she started.
Randhir's heart suddenly accelerated his speed.
"Randhir I wanted to say..."
He waited, eagerly.
"Randhir I wanted to say that there's some of Parth's desert left in the kitchen. I still think you should try it." Sanyukta said, with a blank expression.
To say that Randhir was shocked, would be an understatement. The poor guy.
He walked off in anger, chiding himself mentally for even thinking, what he had been thinking.
As soon as Randhir went off, Sanyukta burst into a fit of laughter.
"That guy. He IS adorable." She thought before walking into her own room.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wait, did you even go through it?
