"To Sanyukta ." Kaustuki picked up the letter lying on the
ground .
"What? For me ?" Sanyukta questioned.

"Yes Sanyu, just see it"Kaustuki said .

Sanyukta was surprised as to who would write her a letter .
No one she could think of at this moment . She opened the letter and there she
saw his name in BIG BOLD LETTERS : Randhir . She hated him from the inner
depths of her heart . He had wrecked her life , she didn't want anything to do
with him . She threw the letter . Kaustuki by the looks of it guessed it was
HIS letter , she wasn't surprised at the way Sanyukta had reacted , after all
what he had done was irredeemable.

Sanyukta left the room , she asked Kaustuki to throw the letter
, burn it do anything with it but just to get it out of her sight. Kaustuki
held the chit she knew she was wrong , but she wanted to know what Randhir had
to say.

Sanyukta ,

I know you may not
even read this but I'm still writing this . I'm not worth forgiving , but there is this faint hope that lingers on .
I never expected it would end this way , I didn't even intend to do what I did
. The first time when we met I'd never in my wildest bad dream (nightmare)
imagined saying this but I Love you and
this time around it's with no compulsions , no motives .

If I have a heart ,
It'll always be waiting for you. I just want to say I'm sorry , I really am .
This'll be the last time you hear from me , I'm leaving . Always wish the best
for you .

We are all incomplete.

On the inside, we
are splintered, torn.

But we are eternal,
like the phoenix,

and, with our heads
held high, we fight on.

And I know You'll rise up
way beyond me ... I Love you dammit !

Sanyukta came back and Kaustuki hurriedly hid the letter .

"What's the matter Kausy ?" Sanyukta enquired seeing a
worried Kaustuki.

"Nothing" Kaustuki tried putting on a fake smile.

"Really?"Sanyukta knew her better than that.

"He left"Kaustuki finally said giving in .
