I was lucky enough to visit Kashmir as a kid.
I have some vague memories of a few lovely places I visited there.
It definitely is Paradise on Earth.
I loved the description of the place.
Reading it, nobody would think you haven't ever visited the place.
I loved this Arnav.
What I liked the most is that the story is very close to reality.
All love stories donot start with instant chemistry between the two lovers.
He has a vague recollection of her, but can't place her.
She is bound to be offended.
Now I'm looking forward to hopefullt Khushi giving him a cold shoulder.
I can imagine the short and plump and fun loving Aastha as Arnav's mother.
It will be fun to watch the interaction between all these three different personalities living together.

Wow Jenny! that was an awesome trip..You did good research and you got awesome imagination (which we already know). It was wonderful to see Kashmir through your words and feel it...for a moment, my wanderlust poked me.
I loved the way you painted the analogy of Himalayas.. ""Maybe it's their sheer vastness, their stoic presence, their unchanging face that shows us our place in the grand scheme of things. Maybe at a subconscious level, it allows us to view our everyday troubles and concerns with a sense of perspective...".---- it was excellent! I love these bits you write in your stories...there is something special about them!

So Khushi in Kashmir...great and she has a lovely companion! They are having a good time together and it made me nostalgic of the times I go for shopping with my aunt...Sigh!

But never in my thoughts I thought you would arrange a meeting or opportunity for Khushi and Arnav like this..I thought may be they will be working together..but this was a surprise and well, sweet! I loved it!

What's wrong with Arnav? Such a short memory of a wonderful girl? May be there is too much going on in his head...anyways Khushi handled it beautifully! Proud of her!

I have never been to Kashmir only saw pictures and heard a lot about the place. You gave us a nice walkthrough of the chinar trees, dal lake, mountains and local attires and most of the important things related to Kashmir. Now I want to go to Saffron Fields :). Arnav the rude man didn't even remember Kushi and Kushi is hallucinating him everywhere. I liked her reply to him and how he corrected his name :). Good start for their beginning.

That update was beautiful. I loved the beautiful scenery that you described - you almost made it seem magical as though this is a fairy tale - and I loved it. But does arnav really not remember khushi? When I read that part, I was like, 'what the???!' They had so many encounters at the airport and he couldn't remember her :( I felt bad for khushi, and to be honest I would have felt exactly the same as her and I would have said the same thing too. Really looking forward to seeing their encounters now that they are in the same house... Loved every bit of it. Thanks for the PM and please update soon. 😊
