So after thinking where to post my comment on last chapter, I decided to put it up here so that we can reach another new one soon. ;-)
Coming to the update, it was simply awesome. I was both crying & smiling through the first half. The song was a perfect fit. I always get emotional whenever I find this song picturised on friends. And who could be better friends than these. To tell you the truth I am always emotional whenever I come across a song on friends.
The pictures were all amazing. I could literally see them. And the last one at the airport, with Khushi's gesture of showing the tattoo was really heart-touching. And that reminded me you still haven't told us Arnav's side of the story.
And then we have Khushi surprising everyone. I had expected her surprise but surely not in this party itself. And the commotion that followed was so perfetly done by you. The best part undoubtedly Arnav's stunned silence, holding back his tears and then Khushi calling his name and hugging him and finally tears making its way to her eyes. Khushi's partner in crime, her buaji and Arvind. Now I understand why he subtly forced Arnav to attend the party.
And then what I loved the most, Arnav, despite being mesmerised by the gorgeous lady Khushi has turned into, missed the tomboy girl she once was, his Khushi. That just showed he loves her in her every avatar. And thats pops up the question in my mind, now that Arnav would give her the attention to make her feel special, which he will as he wouldn't want to lose her again, would she feel its because of her changed appearance? And also whats the reason behind this appearance? And that butterfly tattoo?
La's entry promises her to be fun. And does that unpleasnt someone mean Shanaya? And well jealousy track in Arhi love story is incomplete without NK, isn't it?
Speaking of NK, his comfort level with Khushi, the gestures, it all reminds me of Arhi. So I can guess what Arnav must be feeling. And then other than Arnav only he is dressed in a white suit. I wonder what all he knows of Arhi and what has Khushi told him about Arnav. And that gesture, him placing Khushi's hand in Arnav's after taking Khushi's permission, I was thinking if that would apply in their life as well.
The erratic beating of heart, the possessiveness, the intense staring, the warmth, the tremors, the confusion, the sparkling tension of chemistry everthing is back. But alongwith it is present the void, the awkwardness, and the ... what do I say, simple beauty of Arhiness between them that is missing. And I can't wait to read how you are going move them forward from here, to read the talk between them. And at the moment the dance between them.
By meddling in between Arhi, breaking the communication, if 'Payanjali' (don't remember who named it, but I like it. Was it you?) thought they could apply "Out of sight out of mind", they couldn't have been more wrong. Coz clearly its the opposite here. Its a case of "Distance makes the heart grow fonder".
I guess I pretty much mentioned everything that I wanted to. Still I feel that I missed saying something. Maybe coz I just can't get enough.
PS- That must be my longest comment till date on this story!
