What an amazing story i missed out reading !

Lets dance ! Old radio, and cherry on top NEELA AASMAAN SO GAYA.. apt song for their situation under the stars in the balcony. The small kisses. *in dreamland*... sleeping under the stars ! Haaye she kissed him in the morning ! Put the dupatta on his face to block the sun ! So sweet ! Then the kiss with the dupatta in between... Chubhta hai ! *happy sigh*

So, slowly Khushi is connecting to Arnav in some way, else sitting far away she wouldnt have felt there is something wrong with Arnav ! She wouldnt have ran and on seeing him become hysterical.

Loved the way an angry Rafael told Arnav the real reason for Khushi's insecurity. Nothing mattered to her, the only thing which scared her was Arnav would leave her and go , everything kept aside !

Khushi had told Rafael that she didnt want Arnav to go on asking for forgiveness, as it brought back the old bad memories back again and again which she wanted to forget. All she wanted was his love and him by her side, love in his eyes.

The way Khushi made Arnav have soup, then told him to rest but again told him not to because she was scared he would leave. Then Arnav pulling her onto his chest, making her hear his heartbeat... DO DIL EK DHADKAN !

Part 10[Day 4(Part 3)]

Arnav tried to open his eyes, disoriented. He felt an unusual weight on him, covering his whole body. As he titled his head to his left, still his eyes closed, he felt his face covered with something soft...silk.

Silk?

He opened his eyes, blinking many times, only to find his face covered by silky curtains. And his hand roused to touch the silk caressing his face. Arnav smiled as he touched her silky tresses. Slowing removing her tresses off his face, he lifted himself little, to see Khushi spread all over him. Her right hand around his neck and left horizontal on his chest, in a possessive hold. Her one limp tangled with his left one.

He let out a sigh as his loosened hold tightened on her, taking her completly on him. This is a sight he always wants to wake up at. Her soft body curved into his, bathing in her unique whiff and intoxicating his every sense. His hand caressed her back as he rested his chin on her head.

"Sorry for yesterday Khushi. I didn't meant to frighten you. I am sorry" Arnav murmured his apology, burying his face in her hair.

He pulled her head little back to look at her. Her beautiful face glowing in the effulgence of moon. A smile spread on his lips.

"You are so beautiful Khushi. How can you fall in love with an ugly man like me?" Arnav asked, his left hand resting on her cheek, making her look at him. How? He asked him.How can she fall in love with him? What had he done to deserve her? But still she love him.

Maybe this is the love his Di had , many a times, tried to make him understand.

Love!

Arnav let out a laugh.

This is the word he had never given any importance. Had always made a joke of.

And today that very word has made him helpless. Ready to destroy him.

He rested his cheek against hers.

"But anything for you, my love. I am ready to get destroyed. The way I had tried to destroy you and was successful too. But don't punish yourself. Punish me, you want me to sleep outside, in the cold? I will do that for you. You want to abuse me? Do it! I will take anything. And about the slap.." Arnav laughed. "I think Payal had done a good job. I am sure it was harder than your Amma's" Arnav looked down, her eyes still close.

Giving a long kiss on her forehead, he carefully untangled himself from her and got up from the bed. It was late evening, he will have to do something for dinner. Tucking Khushi carefully inside the blanket, he stood up.

Arnav was about to head outside the room when his leg hit the coffee table, making the Radio on it fall down on the carpet.

"Shit!" Arnav cursed and bend down to pick the Radio. Taking the Radio he ONed it, rotating the round button but nothing came out of it. Frustrated of trying he searched for the tool box in the room. Not finding it in the room, he went out to look for it downstairs.

Locating the tool box downstairs, he took it and opened the Radio, trying to find the problem.

Khushi opened her eyes, her hand roaming on her right side of the bed. Her poture stiffened as her eyes opened fully. She sat straight on the bed, her eyes roaming in the entire room.

"Arnav ji!" Khushi shouted, his bleeding unconscious form flashing in front of her.

She jumped off the bed, making a dash downstairs.

"Arnav ji?!!"

"Arnav ji?!!"

"Khushi, I am here!!"

And Khushi closed her eyes, her hand lifting to rest on her heaving chest. He is there. He is ok! Khushi whispered to her heart and slowly descended the remaining stairs.

"Khushi, I am here." Arnav smiled at Khushi.

Khushi saw him seated in the dinning area. A small screw driver in his hand and fixing something in the Radio.

"Sorry to leave you alone Khushi. I was coming down to see something for dinner but than this Radio fell and was not working. So I thought of seeing what problem it has. Don't worry its almost done than I will see the dinner." Arnav got up from the chair. Now assembled Radio in his hand. He twisted the round button but no result. Letting out a frustrated sigh he tried again.

Khushi's eyes jerked towards the window, the pitter pattar sound gaining her attention. Her lips stretched into a smile. It was raining. The first rain of this year's monsoon.

Arnav smiled as he heard the faint voice coming from the Radio, his fingers shifted to the volume button, increasing the volume.

Khushi shifted her gaze from the window to Arnav ji.

Aawaz do hamko

Arnav kept the Radio on the dinning table and walked towards Khushi. Smiling, he took Khushi's hand in his, guiding it on his shoulder. Looking in her eyes, he sang the next lines

"Aawaz do hamko
Hum kho gaye
Kab neend se jaage
Kab so gaye
Mar jayeenge hum agar
Door tumse ho gaye"

Khushi kept her head on his shoulder, her hand slipping from his shoulder to his waist, tightening her hold there.

Hum kho gaye

Arnav swayed, taking her in his arms. Loving the feel of her soft body pressed against his. He lifted his hand to rest on her cheek, making her look at him.

"Tumse nigahein chaar
Karne lagey
Hum zindagi se pyaar
Karne lagey"

Arnav lifted his bandaged hand, flashing his wounded hand in front of Khushi, resting his forehead against her, he mouthed the next words.

"Darte na the maut se
Ab magar darne lagey"

Khushi giggled and again rested her forehead on his chest.

"Aawaz do hamko
Hum kho gaye."

Khushi closed her eyes, hugging him close.

Kab neend se jaage
Kab so gaye

"Mar jayeenge hum agar
Door tumse ho gaye"

Aawaz do hamko
Hum kho gaye.

Khushi lifted her head from his chest, the increasing sound of the rain gaining her attention. She lifted her eyes to look at him and he loosened his hold on her and was bestowed by a Khushi-like zeal in her eyes and a baby smile on her lips, ready for a mischief. Untangling herself from him she ran towards the exit, the heavy pour drenching her immediately. She extended her arms, welcoming the first rain to soak her.

Saawan ki is pehli barsaat mein
Sab dekh lein sapnay ek raat mein
Kaat jaaye na zindagi
Ek hi mulakaat mein

Aawaz do hamko
Hum kho gaye.

Khushi felt his touch on her hand, her head turned to look at her right, his hand slipping in hers.

Kab neend se jaage
Kab so gaye

Khushi tightened her hold on his hand.

Mar jayeenge hum agar
Door tumse ho gaye

Aawaz do hamko
Hum kho gaye...

Arnav walked towards Khushi, her hand in his. He pulled her towards him. Khushi's small frame instantly crashing into his. Khushi shivered under his smoldering gaze, burning her drench form. Arnav's hand slowly moved to her back, making Khushi jump at his every touch. His dipped his head towards Khushi, nuzzling her neck. Khushi jumped back, unable to take the sensual torture. She looked in his eyes for few moments before lowering her eyes bashfully and turned around to ran back. But Arnav held her wrist making her turn to look at him.

"Mere saamne rehna
Jana nahi
Tumse hai kuch kehna
Jana nahi
Mausam kabhi pyaar ka
Laut kar aana nahi"

He again pulled her toward him, arresting her in the strong confines of his arms.
